TOP PLAYGROUND EVER!!!! Let’s cut to the chase…I have taken my now four-year-old to 202 different playgrounds, no joke. 202!!! This custom playground structure is THEE COOLEST, funnest, most amazing thing I have ever seen!!!! It’s like a three-story maze! You will lose your toddler in precisely 3.2 seconds! LoL There is a misting “splashpad” area in the center, a small kids train-themed area, a carousel, a kids museum, and much more on the playground grounds. This park is my NEW #1 playground ever. If you live within two hours of this park it is well worth the drive for you to spend the day here with your kids and family. Take a picnic, it’s an all day activity. BEST PLAYGROUND EVER!!!

Wow what a beautiful and peaceful park. Very nicely kept. This park has a bunch of activities for the little ones. Lots of science stuff to do. They even have a carousel which runs on weekends and a very nice three story playground. Baseball fields. Lots of places to walk. Staff is very friendly. Bathrooms are very clean. Basketball courts for adults and children. Picnic areas. NO SMOKING AT THIS PARK. NO PETS ALLOWED. Highly recommend. Will definitely visit again. Thank you very much for checking in. Have a blessed day.

This playground is absolutely amazing! There's so much to do both inside and outside the park. Spent 2 hours enjoying the playground, carousel, museum, and a scenic trail walk. A perfect spot for a fun-packed day.

excellent park, it is immense and for children of all ages. It has many activities, you can last for hours and your children will not get bored. It has a science museum where they will learn many things. remember to bring a swimsuit for your children

the carousel has been down for a while now. the museum is the most entertaining part honestly. as for the park, water spraying area is nice when it’s hot, but the swings are too low, and that giant structure is great for walking. nothing else. like there’s really nothing in there. this place is def good for little toddlers but older kids, probably not so much. it’s at least in a good area of a park. it’s in clean condition but these kids tend to break or take a lot of museum stuff.

We went to Sugar Sand Park for President’s Day weekend BBQ. They have Pavilion that you can reserved in advance for your event or you can go to the Picnic Area. That is first come first served. They are usually very clean. All those areas have trees around to provide good amount of shade. There are tables and benches. They also provided water hose for you to use. There are dumpsters for your garbage. We had a great time. They also have playgrounds for kids on the other side. That is a great park for friends and families gathering. We definitely recommend others. Atmosphere ———- (A) Clean / Organize —- (A) We gave them 9.8 out of 10 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Great park for kids! Huge outdoor play space with small sprinkler area. Cool indoor science area. Carousel was not working at the time. Shared covered picnic table (1) area to sit and take in a snack while beating the heat. Really lovely spot

Awesome playground for kids, it’s huge one way in one way out so don’t panic if you lose sight of your kid, it gets crowded but still plenty of room to run around, there’s a carousel for tokens next to playground $1 per token per ride, bathrooms real close and clean, def plenty to do with your kids or family in this park, one of the better spots I’ve been too. Playground is innovative, areas for toddlers, young and older kids. Museum and free parking. Plenty of space for parents to sit, bring food and water.

Hidden Gem! The carousel is epic... I love to take photos at this park, its a great backdrop for natural headshots and the carousel will bring joy to your heart just like it did mine. Load up the littles and the adults you want to make a picture with and head to Sugar Sand Park in Boca Raton. Once I saw a red fox crossing the roadway and it stopped and looked at me, we had a moment!

One of, if not the best, parks to visit. The place is huge. The playground is a child's dream come true. So many places to explore. Then when you're done, there's a science center with tons of experiences inside. All set up and ready for you to have fun. And learn. That is the best part. I brought some food and had a picnic on the ground with my family. They also have tables and chairs. It is a wonderful place to visit.

Great playground & park for kids 2+. There are areas for 2-5yr olds and 6+. Lots to do with a maze of walkways going up 2 stories. Slides, swings, climbing things, nice carousel right next door but make sure to bring $1, $5 or $10 to make change. Carousel is $1.

It was so much fun with my 6 year old grandson and great niece and nephew! The structure is nicely covered from the sun. Be prepared to run around climb and slide! Parking is ample

Huge free playground with separated zones for toddlers and older kids, splash pad, carousel, museum!!! Kids fell in love. Bring food and water with you, there are plenty tables and seats. For carousel need cash to buy a token ($1 - one ride) or buy tokens at the reception inside of the building paying by cc. Free parking. There are a lot of kids and it’s super fun for all ages. Restrooms are inside the building.

Best free park ever! There are two main play areas, so fun for little and bigger kids. The playground is stroller & wheel chair accessible but the playground equipment is not all accessible. There is a large maze type structure that kids and adults can navigate. There is a small water area in the center, just enough to cool off- not quite a splash bad. There are lots of areas to sit and tons of shade! There are bathrooms, which also have toddler size toilets/sinks. We stopped here on the way to Miami- since it’s right off of I-95. A great stop to break up a long road trip!! Honestly I would have paid to get in to this park! The only problem is keeping an eye on your kid since it’s so big and getting them to leave because it’s so much fun :) *editing to correct that there is an accessible way up the playground equipment, but you can’t get everywhere

We LOVE Sugar Sand Park- They don't make them like this anymore! So much to do especially if you have energetic kids like mine! I love that the museum always has different displays and activities and best of all free. Staff are super friendly. We would visit this park everyday if we could.

Great outdoor park for the kids to play! Restrooms were clean, the grounds were well maintained, and my kids had a blast playing with exploring.

Although my kids and I went during the early afternoon hours when the sun was burning bright, we all had a fun time. All of the slides and spinning activities were piping hot, but the fine mist and breeze at the splash pad made up for it. The carousel was down for maintenance while we were there and this park is free for all. The jungle gym area is designed for children up to 12.

It's a large place for kids to run, climb, slide, and swing. There's even a mist zone for warmer days. There are a few picnic tables, two are under a pavilion. My 6 and 7 year old grandkids love this park.

This park is one of the best parks in Florida. There is literally something for everyone. Baseball, basketball, soccer, football and a spot to skate. The kids especially love the science museum. Entrance is free as it is a public park however a donation is encouraged. In the same building as the science museum is an explorium that offers multiple interactive stations. There are hands on activities for children of all ages. Lots of things to do to ramp up brain activity. There is also a pretty large theatre in the building. There is a nature trail located off the back entrance that is a peaceful walk. The children’s park is a short distance from the museum. It has separate areas for the older and younger kids to have fun. No written explanation of the features could do the children’s park justice. It is a custom conglomerate of every kind of activity possible to wear the kiddos out. They even have a sprint section with a large digital timer built in so the kids can race each other. At the end of the day there is a large merry-go-round on the outside of the kids park. That does cost a dollar or two and the kids have a great time which makes it worth it.

I love Sugar Sand park, it has changed a ton since I was young. From a wooden pirate themed playground with some cool science flared into it. To a more modern treasure trove of excitement and learning. From the misting area to beat the heat, to the elaborate construct ranging three stories high that houses different area like a train cabin, boat, bridge to a ship, and littered with facts about our wonderful planet. It is a fun filled adventure for kids and parents alike. Do make it a point to visit this park, you won't regret it.

Love this place for my 3 year old. Swings. Climbing frames splash pad! They have a little science museum there too with fun things for kids to interact with. They have a trail park which I love for a nice walk amongst nature, and they have a horse carousel. It’s the best place to take your kid for a couple of hours, but bring five dollar or one dollar bills to get coins for the horse carousel. 1 coin/ $1 per ride per kid

This playground is such a gem!! We came here one afternoon and my kids had so much fun they didn't want to leave! The place is big and have enough activities and play area for all kids. The only downside is that it got a bit crowded and some people were without a mask. We will definitely be coming back though!

Incredible Park had a quick 3 person get together, for Father's Day, during Corona social distancing rules... We all had a great time, nice ,quiet, and peaceful. We used to take my daughter there about 20 years ago, perfect for kids... fields trees trails.. everything you need.

  • 5/5 Nikki G. 3 years ago on Google
This place is awesome!!!! Its very large and there is a wall surrounding the playground. Problem is its easy for your kids to get lost in there. However, there is only one way in and one way out so that helps. Even though it has a wall a full grown adult could reach over so I still keep watch on the kids. I make them use the buddy system. The science center and nature walk are the best! But the science center is presently closed due to covid.

Love the place. Spacious and well maintained. Nice walking trails. People in charge and the maintenance crew provide an EXCELLENT service. I call the playground the " The Taj Mahal of playgrounds ". If your kiddos are into science, that's the place to take them. Plenty pavilions. Plenty space. Quiet oasis in the middle of hustle and bustle.

I liked this place because the parking spots were twice the width of my compact car. I go here solely to luxuriate in the parking spot. I'm thinking of seeing how much they'll rent a parking space to me for and then I'll build a tiny house on it and live there forever. You know where to find me!

Loved this park! Different zones for different age groups and a splash park right up front! There looked like there were other atteactions carousel, bike trails and nature center but we spent so much time at the park we didnt get to experience them. COVID warning: Almost nobody present wore a mask and it got very packed at one point. I didnt see a sanitation notice or log. Take your own precautions at this park.
