We came to go snorkeling at the reef, but we couldn’t find it easily. Nowhere is the reef location posted; not at the park and not on their website. Additionally parking cost $35 for the day, which is a bit much, especially when you have to leave because of thunderstorms. When we got in the water we went out way too far and the lifeguards called us back in. You are not allowed to go snorkeling past the buoys, even with a dive flag, which aren’t even allowed at the park (lifeguard informed us). We found out later that the best place to see the reef is within the buoys. There are two inner buoys, and if you follow the line between them, you will go over the reefs.

This is one of the best beaches in south Florida. It has a good amount of parking and can fill up on weekends. Parking is $25 for the day and there is metered parking for $3 an hour across the street. The park has both paved paths and boardwalks to walk on. There are lots of picnic tables in shaded areas with BBQ grills. You are always close to one of the many clean bathrooms. For children there are a couple of playgrounds. The beach is beautiful. It’s a bit of a steep walk down stairs or a ramp depending on which area you are at. You can go to the north end of the park where there isn’t any lifeguard and the beach is less busy.

I love this beautiful and cozy place! Incredibly beautiful winding wooden paths along the beach, green spaces, gazebos and barbecue grills or just a family picnic, playgrounds and a large parking lot along the entire park, all accesses to the beach have stairs or access to the beach. I love taking pictures in this location ❤️

Loved this beach. The water is so clear and beautiful. Paid parking is just steps away at $3 per hour. Bathrooms & showers are clean.

This is one of my favorite beaches to visit. Its not too crowded and the park is beautiful! Affordable metered parking is across Ocean Blvd if you are alone or only with a couple people. But if you have enough people to share the cost, there is closer parking on the east side of the street for $35/day.

Beautiful park and beach 🏖️ however $35 to enter and park is a bit pricey but it is worth it if you come early and get a bench and a bbq to grill. The bathrooms were clean and the outside showers to wash off the sand were great 👍

This beach was beautiful. Sand was so soft and plenty of beach to go around. Wanted to try to snorkel the reef but the waves were too big. Plenty of parking but it cost $25.00 for the day. A lot of picnic areas and grills. A cute little nature walk in front of the beach. Not a whole lot of wildlife unless you count the numerous spiders hanging across the trees lol. They are above head reach. Definitely found a new beach to relax at and hopefully get to snorkel.

Great spot for 🤿! Tons of different fish along the reef, they get bigger the farther out you go. Great picnic area as well, and definitely go to the west parking lot to see a bunch of iguanas!

That's a beautiful beach and a shore. Very nice and peaceful. There's a pricey entrance fee but you can also pay by plate in the front parking lot. The officer is so nice and kind.

Red Reef Park, a personal favorite of mine, stands out as one of the premier beach parks in Boca Raton, Florida. As a local Google guide, I appreciate its spacious layout, featuring a generous array of picnic tables and barbecue grills. You'll also find clean, well-maintained restrooms for your convenience. This park offers a unique perk - it remains open slightly longer than the usual sunset hours, a feature not commonly found elsewhere. For fishing enthusiasts, the park provides excellent fishing areas, increasing its appeal for a wider audience. A particular highlight that makes Red Reef Park truly memorable is its turtle nesting sites. If you're fortunate enough, you may witness a turtle laying its eggs. And if luck is truly on your side, you might even get to see the spectacle of these eggs hatching, with the newborn turtles embarking on their first journey towards the sea. To increase your chances of such a magical encounter, I recommend visiting early in the morning. Red Reef Park is not just a beach, but a mesmerizing natural spectacle that leaves you with lasting memories.

Great for Beach... Early morning walks or a day at the beach... family and friends gathering...cookouts. Easy access, close parking, outdoor showers, restrooms. Seaweed can be a issue... But not always.

It was my first time in this nice beach, and I didn't know how relaxing this place is. There were few people clean and warm water, I didn't see any seaweed. Excellent place to go and relax. I parked across the street ($3.00 an hour, 4hr limit).

Affordable parking across the street with a beautiful mural wall. Nice, clean beach and boardwalk with lots of birds. We would have stayed longer if it wasn’t for the rainy/windy weather that day.

The daily parking is $35. We chose to park across the street at the meters (4hr limit). The shore had a LOT of seaweed, but I heard it's affecting the entire East coast this year. The accessibility from the parking to the beach was good. There is a ramp to get to the beach, which is nice if you have a wagon.

This is my "go to" beach park in Boca Raton FL. The beach is great and generally shallow which nice for school age kids. Multiple Lifeguard stations, barbeque pits, gazebos and cabañas for some serious fun and if thats not enough there is the Intercoastal section of the park on the west side of A1A for fishing, nature trails boat watching and more. The nature trail even connects to the Gumbo Limbo Nature center which houses FAU Marine Biology lab. So much to do in every direction. Did I mention Golf .... yes that too and it is all free just pay for the ample parking on either side of A1A.

Great place to do an easy shore dive. The parking is limited, but if you drop your gear off and have someone to stay with it while you park across the street, it's not that far of a walk. The Reef system is about 50 yards from shore and runs north and south, with three or four separate legs/strips. Good for lobster hunting!

Lovely park with picnic areas, trails, showers, clean restrooms, and a kid's playground. There was a lifeguard on duty all day. The amount of Sargassum (algae) was really annoying though, otherwise it's a beautiful beach.

Beautiful park that connects to the inter coastal across the street from A1A as well as to the beach. Good amount of parking and some beautiful murals for picture taking. I found out that dogs are NOT allowed in the park however I was able to snap these photos of my Roo before leaving 😎

This park is easy to miss. There are secluded beaches and nature trails that make this place special. It's always kept clean and it's almost never crowded. It's per friendly, has plenty of bathrooms and showers. Definitely a great beach to spend a day in the sun.

The place is amazing, the parking I paid a rate for the day,if you need to go out to have lunch, you need to keep the receipt to be able to go back to the parking without paying again. Same with the chairs… My nephew love it, it was an amazing day that we have in the beach.

This beach is amazing! If you're looking for shells, they dont have much, BUT thats most of the Atlantic side. I did fine some very nice small shells that are unique. I found them on the shoreline and next to the rocks on low tide and in the seaweed on shore. The reef is beautiful, and I definitely recommend snorkeling. We saw some beautiful fish. We did also see some very big barracuda, so I would recommend taking all jewelry off!!!! We went in mid-June, and they had turle nest lined all up and down the beach, I thought that alwas a cool site as well. To park in the actual Red Reef park, it's $35. I would suggest to park across the street at the golf course and walk across.

Amazing place. parking is not expensive. I recommend parking in front of the beach entrance. you have two parking spaces . . on the beach it is expensive. In front of the beach, across the street, it is very cheap. You can use the PARKMOBILE App from your mobile device.

Toilets need to be renovated. The toilets in Spanish River park were renovated. There are also a lot of mosquitoes in the toilet. There should have been spraying for flies.

Great beach! Clean and had life guards on duty. Beach also has grills, bathrooms, playgrounds for kids. It is well worth the 25 dollars to park inside the park to get all of those features. I believe it’s cheaper for palm beach residents. My family prefers this beach because it’s not crowded with tourists, great place to relax and enjoy the day

Beautiful and awesome beach park combined with a golf course right on the beach! Now with an electric car charging station! Watch out for the iguanas that just want to get away from you! Beautiful beach and walk ways. Ok bathrooms and covered picnic tables with barbeque pits. Good parking and extra parking across the road.
