This is our second time staying at this resort and a lot has change since Covid. I believe they are done remodeling and it has improved a lot. The resort has a few restaurants but Veranda is our favorite. The servers are quick and extremely professional. Joaquin went above and beyond to accommodate my pineapple needs. I went around the entire resort looking for Real Pineapple slices and no one seem to have any but Joaquin told me as soon as the restaurant open come in and he will cut me up some AND HE DID JUST THAT! I am impressed that he even remember I came in. Thank you so much Joaquin and the rest of the servers here.

We have had such an amazing stay at Grand Park Royal Puerto Vallarta! The staff is so friendly and helpful. I wanted to order flowers for my wife’s birthday and they called a local flower shop in town and organized flowers to be delivered! The restaurants are great and the service is wonderful. This is a great resort for families because it is not too big but not too small. Lots of kid activities and kid pools. There is a team of staff just for kids and they included my 2 year old daughter in the games even though she was a little young. We felt very valued. Also, everything was also kid appropriate. We have been to another resort and some of the activities were not kid appropriate. So two thumbs up for kids! We have been to 4 other resorts in the past and this was our favourite of the 5. We are already planning our trip back!

We checked in and actually checked out within 2 hours. Don’t be fooled by the pictures. Pool area is run down, paint falling off walls, pool is disgusting and dirty. Chairs are dirty. This place is a 3 star at best! Location is beautiful and lobby area is nice but wait until you get in your room or go to pool or bar areas! It was so bad we actually paid $350USD just to leave and go to Hilton 2km away! Service is slow and rude. We ordered tacos just after checking in at the restaurant and came cold, tasteless and burnt! Fries were also stone cold! Also kids everywhere so don’t go if your couple of with friends!

Awesome experience. Everyone was so lovely. Great place with great food. They have 4main restaurants and we tried the buffet, seafood restaurant and Italian one. All of them were super. We got to watch fire show as well. Great experience. Pool was nice and clean. Their snack bar was great too. Room service was prompt. Overall clean and organized hotel. Would love to visit again. Only thing is the sound. We couldn’t sleep well because of wedding party sound and then weekend so people were partying and the ocean sound as well. But we can ignore that for all other good things. I mentioned it here so that the people can not sleep at all in a noisy environment they can reconsider.

Beautiful location, delicious food and friendly staff. Had a blast here... the only reason i didn't give it a 5 is there seems to be a lack of elevators.. or they just take forever. So anyone with mobility issues make sure you're close to the ground floor. But overall, great place!

We stayed at the Grand Park Royal in Puerto Vallarta for one week in November 2023. The good things: The beach is amazing one of the best in the region! Just as nice as the beaches south along the coast in my opinion. Our room was a good size and had a nice balcony with an amazing ocean front view. Few vendors on the beach. The location is quiet about 15 mins to downtown but also close to the south side attractions. Nice jungle views across the road. The shower had good pressure and hot water. My favorite food was actually the buffet breakfast. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel which makes for quick and convenient trips into town or to the south side. One free room service a day but you need to download and order on the app. The bad things: Not a luxury hotel. Lacking many amenities. For example there were no provided toiletries in the room. Only one working elevator the others were constantly broken leading to a long wait for the elevators. So if you have mobility problems this isn't the hotel for you. They had a power outage one night which lasted about 3 hours. The drinks are pretty watered down. The nacho cheese at the snack bar is probably 50% water no taste at all. For the cafe they have a weird rule where they only serve ice cream between 1pm and 6pm which is pretty ridiculous. Long wait times at the ala carte restaurants. You have to wear bracelets but also need to provide your room number and name when before entering the restaurants which doesn't make sense since you are clearly a customer with the bracelet. The buffet was okay as far as buffers go. Got pretty old after a couple days. Checking in took a long time. Cleanliness was an issue. The bathrooms by the pools never had soap or hand sanitizer for the whole week we were there. Overall it was an okay hotel. I mainly booked for the beach and oceanfront view. Wouldn't stay again but for the most part we enjoyed our time there. Definitely not a 5 star more of a 2.5 or 3 star hotel with an amazing beach to make up for it.

Amazing stay! Had a great time with the family would highly recommend the hotel. Great food, great staff, amazing location and views, fantastic beach. Only a few things I wish had been different. I wish the rooms had had a small couch instead of a chair, and I wish the hotel had had activities like paddle boarding, kayaking and snorkeling available right at the hotel. Really could not speak more highly of the super helpful staff.

The views are to die for, absolutely stunning! The hotel is clean and modern and well taken care of. We love the private beach and Rocky area to sit. The pools are nice and well kept as well. The only complaint is the room service took forever so the kids were almost asleep by the time it came and they didn’t bring all of our food. Otherwise everything has been perfect! Fernando was awesome with service at the pool. Great work!

This review is solely based on the excellent service we received from Moises. Moises works very hard, he would run to get drink orders, I am sure it was difficult for him on the beach running but he did. His friendliness, communication and all around presence was amazing. Moises was always there and ready to take our next drink order. He also remembered our drink orders for the next time we were ready. He was awesome at communicating when he was off work for a day as well as letting us know his section for the next day. We continued to go to his section because he made our stay wonderful. Moises even waved goodbye to where we were standing in the lobby on the day we left. Thank you Moises:)

From the outside looking in, everything was beautiful--beach from is gorgeous. Was very excited based on first impressions.until we got to our bedroom. My bed was broken in the middle and concaving, took 6 hours and three visits to the front desk to get the manager to do anything about it - the manager is terrible with customer service. We did the time share presentation (to get a discount on some fun things around town), found out that the nice "members" side is about 10x times better than where they put non member guests. The side they put non-members in is a slightly renovated Old Best Western (it really is). The difference between the two sides was so vast that there is NO WAY I would pay for a time share there. The rooms are musky, air conditioning is super loud, black mold in the shower...shower would leak all over the floor. We never had hot water in our shower, not once. Food wasn't good. I was told from another guest who we met at this hotel to not judge all-inclusive hotels by this one because this was bad food. Pool area food was cold. If you go to the buffet restaurants, get there first, it gets nasty after a bit. Mexican and Italian restaurants were the best options for sure. I paid the $25 to go into the quieter pool area and the hot tub wasn't working...totally cold. Last day we were there and checking out, the bell guy was holding my luggage so that I could eat breakfast. They put my luggage on a bus with other people. Manager wasn't helpful until my husband demanded that she help us get our stuff back. One of the other staff hopped on his motor cycle to help us out and get our luggage back - if it wasn't for him, we would have not gotten our luggage back. We tipped him generously because we are 100% sure the hotel wouldn't have paid him gas money for helping us out. He did that because he was nice and offered to help. The only good thing about this hotel was that most of the staff (not the manager) are incredibly friendly. And while the hotel says that there is no need to tip because it's "all-inclusive" -- we tipped everyone. They were working their butts off, and most of them were there first thing in the morning until close, every-single-day. I would NEVER go back to this hotel unless it was under new management and they cleaned up the older side for the guests they SHOULD BE trying to impress to become members.

Spent only one night at this property. The property itself is quite beautiful and situated on an amazing little beach. Great to watch the waves come crashing in but probably not the best place to swim at times. Room was quite nice. Beautiful lobby upstairs to have a drink and overlook the ocean. Ate at the general buffet which was decent, Breakfast was a nice spread. Didn't love the music from the wedding but I guess that's something you have to deal with. Didn't appreciate a time share pitch after check in. It was good for a night

Thank you to the amazing staff at the Grand Park Royal Puerto Vallarta for a fantastic stay! My friends and I couldn’t have asked for a better accommodation for our first visit to Puerto Vallarta. The activities, theme nights, and amenities were fantastic and complemented by great people that work there. A massive shoutout to Jovanni, Diane, and Cesar for being our go to bartenders and amazing people overall! Mar on the Fantastic Team is awesome and energy/personality is a real delight! The only thing we thought could be better was the food. The Mexican and Seafood restaurant was not very good but the Italian and buffet restaurant offered some great selections. Overall, fantastic experience and great trip to Mexico!

Miguel helped me find my sunglasses after I left them at the buffet. The staff are so kind and polite. The rooms are amazing and the ocean front views can’t be beat! For me personally, I would have liked a bathtub. The location was perfect for us as we were staying on the resort. If you’re looking to do excursions or want to be downtown or the city centre be prepared to taxi or Uber. The food at every restaurant was wonderful and we had an excellent stay! Thank you!

THE VIEWS ARE AMAZING. This is an all inclusive place where each room has an oceanfront balcony, private beach, and constant sound of the waves. The hotel has multiple pools (including an adult only rooftop pool), bars, and several dinning options. They have several activities during the day and night to keep guests engaged. The deluxe rooms are two beds even though our booking suggested a king bed. The hotel would not honor the request or accommodate with a king bed, which was DISAPPOINTING. This hotel is about 30 minutes drive from Puerto Vallarta. The staff is very friendly and helpful, however, sometimes English is an issue with some staff. There are limited food options for people with dietary restrictions and the other guests mix and match food causing greater difficulty. Veranda Captain Esteban really took care of our dietary restrictions so we had something to eat everyday.

The views from the top floor at sunset are unmatched. Absolutely breathtaking. We have so enjoyed our stay. The waiters at all of the restaurants have been so attentive to our needs, sometimes the menu didn’t have anything our 4 year old wanted & they were kind enough to special make things for him. Ramon & Roman were especially helpful at the restaurant. Jorge on the funtastic team is so great. Always reminding us of the fun activities they have going on. I wish I could remember all of their names to mention because everyone was so kind and great.

Great food, great fun! Would absolutely consider coming back in a few years. Most important, my wife got the chance to see a humpback whale breach right outside out window. Thank you to the buffet staff for making my little girls 3rd birthday special. The head waiter took time out of the evening to go out and make a special little cake for her when the pastry chef was out. Thank you all for a great time!

Overall our stay was awesome. Great service, views and drinks. Our bartender Alfredo took great care of us on our midday drinking ventures and made some pretty amazing drinks, why else come to an all inclusive hotel in Mexico?? Definitely worth it and plan on returning very soon.

From the moment that we arrived, the entire staff was friendly and accommodating. They have excellent food options. On our first night we dined at the Veranda and the food was absolutely delicious. Chef Joaquin provided exceptional service. We are greatly looking forward to eating more of Chef Joaquin's dishes. Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay.

First, check the time of year the sun will be in relation to this resort. We stayed here for three nights, Nov. 26, to check out on Nov. 30. and there is NO sun on the pool deck. Not till 1 pm or later. This is okay if you have sun sensitivities, but if not and you're a sun junkie like me, this will ruin your vacation. Thankfully, they have a rooftop lounge where all the sun is and a pool, but it's a VIP package, and you have to pay to have access. It's well worth it. Do not use the app to order room service; it doesn't work and they tried to blame me for the issues. Each time we placed the order, it kept trying to deliver the food 4 hours later. The last straw was them banging on my door and calling my room at 130 am because we tried to order dinner for room service. We were told it was cancelled, and the order never went through. This resort, to us, seemed to cater more to the Hispanic community. Not that this is an 'issue,' however, we did feel slightly marginalized. The elevators in the newer building, are slow and only one works. We were informed that it hasn't worked since the hurricane came through. For us, we stayed on the 10th floor, so going up to the roof wasn't an issue. Can't say the same for people below us. Our last stay in PV was this same time last year at the Riu and the food was amazing. This was not the same experience.

What a great resort! My family and I enjoyed our stay at grand park royal Puerto Vallarta! The staff is so lovely and friendly The restaurant frida is our favorite Misael, Manuel and Miguel are a great team so attentive and polite! Misael recommend our started and main dish and they were delicious definitely coming back!

Very enjoyable vacation again this year!! Service from Moses at poolside was top notch. Moses gave us excellent service. Never had to wait long for a refreshing drink, always served with a welcoming attitude! Great meals at all restaurants! Servers Rodrigo, Alfredo, Filiberto, Nancy and Orlando where always attentive and efficient. Always anticipating all of our needs! Rooms very clean and stocked everyday!

Alfredo was amazing best drinks in the lobby bar. The Royal Travel agent was amazing Maria Jose she was so friendly and gave amazing recommendations on things to do here. Max was awesome he was able to get us taxis and made sure we had a ride when needed! The service at both sit down restaurants was not good. Make sure you book a covid test (ours was supposed to be free because we stayed 7 days) if your flying back to the states because they don’t tell you anything about it when we asked about it was told there were no more appointments and that there was nothing they could do. They did call us and let us know of a cancellation thankfully so that we could get back home. That was the worst part of the trip everything else was wonderful. The hotel is just a short Uber ride into town which is nice. The food isn’t the best but it’s an all inclusive so I kinda figured as much but a nice stay overall.

Hotel/resort itself is nice. Food is good. Staff and activities are great (watch for Mar, she’s awesome). The only negative is because of the orientation of the hotel, the pool and beach are in the shade all day until around 2pm.

Such a great place! Me and my friends enjoyed everything they have to offer. Gonzalo really have us an amazing service at Andiamo. He’s the best!!! Alex and Roberto always helped us when need. Overall super recommended!!! The view is mind blowing. I loved everything.

We have a great time in Puerto Vallarta, this hotel has the best beach in Vallarta with white sand and few vendors (maybe because is far from the city). Also has 2 adult pools and one splash for the kids. The kid’s club is perfect if you want to rest and enjoy with your partner. The reason I put 4 stars is because even though it’s a family hotel the Italian restaurant Children is not allowed, the food in their restaurants and buffet is not the best representation of the Mexican food and they need to improve their four elevators because usually one or two are out of service. Every room has good beach view with balcony. Our room was an ambassador suite and was great space in the new building, again, the elevators should be bigger with A/C. The staff service was wonderful, very friendly and nice. The entertainment group is fantastic and always have something to do with you if you’re in the pool or beach zone.

This hotel truely lived to it's 5 star status. We love the location and its private beach. The food is delicious. Gonzalo, one of the waiters in the Italian restau was amazing! Definitely coming back here.

Gonzalo, Oscar, and Victor treated us like family. They went above an beyond with their service. We legit didn’t have to ask for anything because they were proactive with their service. If we had a request, they would gladly provide it. This has been the best experience we’ve had so far. I would highly recommend eating at Andiamo. The food was great, friendly environment, and spectacular service!

We came in December of last year. At the last minute there was a mistake with the travel agent, we were supposed to stay at a much larger Hotel on the other side of Puerto Vallarta. We found that the smaller hotel is much easier to get around. And you don't literally have to trudge to get to the ocean and the beach here is beautiful. Thanks to Miguel and Max they turned the whole vacation around for us! The food is good, great little coffee bar. Won't Lie the music is a little loud at night. The weddings! But we already have it booked to come back in December this year. We will be staying in the deluxe Suite this year, and are quite excited!

Excellent service! Room spacious and clean with stunning ocean view! Our bartender Alfredo was great! He created a personalized drink that was delicious! Our waiter Rodrigo was amazing! Always catering to our needs and making sure our experience is great! Thank you Alfredo, Rodrigo and team for delivering exceptional service and care! I will definitely come back, this time with my kids!

My family and I went last week to this hotel. The worst vacation I’ve ever had. Disgusting buffet food. If you want to eat at the restaurants, you have to wait to get a table at least 40 minutes and at least half an hour to be served. Sodas with no gas, food appears to be from two or three days ago. Employees maybe overworked or low salary, always in bad humor, only one elevator working and no A/C. If you are on a diet, are diabetic or high blood pressure, it is a good place for you. Food with no taste, no salt and no variety. Same food at lunch and dinner. Same few desserts all the week, just change color, and the poorest snack bar I’ve ever seen. I’m just mentioning a few problems. DO NOT GO THERE AND WASTE YOUR MONEY, YOUR PEACE AND YOUR VACATION.

Eating at Andiamo Italian restaurant was my favorite place to eat. We had an amazing waiter by the name of Gonzalo. He made us feel welcomed and had an amazing attitude. We got there close to close but you would never know. I highly recommend this restaurant and looking for Gonzalo if you want good recommendations and a welcoming atmosphere.

Octavio R and Emilio were every helpfully. They greeted us when we arrived. They checked on us throughout our stay. The hotel this nice and clean . Beautiful view of the ocean from our room. The staff is amazing. Bartender on the 5th floor Diana Del La Torre and Jesus was great very friendly and made great drinks.

Overall the atmosphere was great. Had some issues checking in. Check in was supposed to be at 3pm but our room wasn’t ready till 5pm. Every time I went to the desk to check, the staff seemed to be lost and took a long time to find the Check-In forms that we signed at 1:40 when we arrived. The issues I had were mostly just with front desk staff and some house keeping problems. The area though!! So beautiful, relaxing, and restful. Personally I think they really benefited from their great wait staff. The bartenders, the servers in the restaurants, and the people assisting us by the pool were amazing. They are the reason my rating is this high

The staff was awesome especially Ricardo the bartender but not to take credit away from the rest. The restaurant staff could not be more helpful. Food all around was very good. The beach here is better than any others around PV so clean and has one of the best lifeguards in the business. All in all we will definitely come back here.

Spent 4 evenings at the hotel, very exciting and wonderful holiday experience. Love the smooth beach, varies indoor facilities, Nice design activities! Friendly service everywhere- front desk, room service,towel stand, activities, restaurants and bars. Thanks to Juan, Carlos, Alfredo and everyone that I did not recall their names but remember their smile faces. To sum up, I had a lovely Christmas at Mexico, and Grand Park was a brilliant choice!

Me and my boyfriend just had the most relaxing vacation of our lives. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. The food was very good at all the restaurants and even the buffet. The beach waves can be a little rough, so make sure your belongings don’t float away. All and all it was a fantastic trip and we will most likely be booking there again

Pescador is an amazing restaurant. The best food I’ve ever had on a vacation, it’s seasoned well to perfection. Juan was great, he took care of me and my girlfriend, and made sure we have everything we needed. The service was just a 10/10 and Alejandro was great as well. I strongly recommend this restaurant when you stay at Grand Park Royal Hotel! We will definitely be back, until next time✌🏾✈️

Food was great! Service was good! Lobby was very busy. Could use some improvement with the front desk. Very clean and friendly! Staff at all restaurants were exceptional. Morning staff at Veranda (Nancy, Vanessa, Alfredo, Manuel, Paola) were attentive and always running for everyone's wants and needs.

Moises served my family and I drinks all week at the pool and at the beach and he was absolutely amazing. He would run to the bar and back to make sure that we got our drinks as quick as possible, he was very friendly, and very professional. Each time our drinks were close to empty he would be right there to check if we wanted a refill. He is an incredible asset to the team at Park Royal and made our experience exceptional! Thank you, Moises!

Had an amazing stay enjoyed the food and drinks. Jesus, Jorge & Pablo were amazing bartenders. Very respectful and made amazing drinks. They had amazing customer service. My only complaint is that the room service sucked. We were on floor 4 and the lady took $90 out of a purse that was left in the room. Didn’t really clean our room or restock any drinks.

The staff at this resort are very friendly and hard working. We’ve had a great experience with Gonzalo. He went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was good a few times that he served us during our stay. Best experience ever. 10/10. Very courteous and friendly. He even gave me rice to help dry my phone that was dropped in the ocean earlier!! ( the beach is really nice at this resort compared to the main beach in Vallarta). Elizabeth at front desk is also very lovely!!

This is our first time to do an all inclusive resort and first time to Puerto Vallarta. This experience has been nothing less than spectacular. As soon as you step out of the taxi, the staff immediately greet you and you feel welcomed. All the staff here are so friendly and helpful. Our favorite all time meal has been pizza at the Italian restaurant- father and son duo waiter team Gonzalo and Omar are just over the top. We are already planning our trip here for next year.
