Friend
visited
Ahmedabad
after
long
and
wanted
to
have
some
Satvik
food
instead
of
visiting
some
fancy
café
or
restaurant
so
decided
to
visit
Kamla
Seva
run
by
SEWA
(Self
Employed
Women
Association)
for
lunch.
It’s
managed
by
a
not
for
profit
organization
so
what
we
pay
goes
to
for
a
good
cause
for
women
empowerment.
One
of
the
most
underrated
places
in
Ahmedabad.
Kamla
has
peaceful
ambience
and
very
well
maintained.
There
is
so
greenery
here.
This
lush
green
place
can
easily
steal
your
heart
away.
This
place
is
completely
based
on
wood.
Feels
like
you
are
in
village.
You
can
feel
the
calmness
in
the
air
and
be
in
the
lap
of
nature.
Perfect
place
to
enjoy
food
with
friends
and
family.
We
had
ordered
Gujarati
Thali.
In
thali
there
was
Chhas,
Bean
Salad,
Fada
Ni
Lapasi,
Karela
kaju
nu
shak,
Bataka
vatanu
nu
shak,
Gujarati
Daal,
Bhaat
&
Fulka
Roti.
The
Food
was
excellent.
It
was
pure,
homely
and
cooked
with
minimal
oil
and
less
spices.
The
portan
sizes
were
just
right
and
the
prices
were
reasonable
too.
The
menu
changes
daily
so
there’s
something
new
every
time
you
visit
this
place.
They
also
sell
fresh
farm
vegetables,
fruits,
bakery
items,
etc.
Things
to
keep
in
mind:
-
They
have
self
service
-
Parking
is
not
available
so
difficult
to
find
parking
-
They
offer
breakfast,
lunch,
snacks,
and
dinner
-
Timings:
8
AM
to
10:30
PM
-
Location:
Kamla,
Gulmahor,
Plot
No,
444-445,
Next
to
Rampir
Mandir
lane,
Opp.
Gurudwara,
Bodakdev,
Ahmedabad
