A fabulous morning out in the country, and the scenery was superb!! From the carpark to the cliff platform, was only a 8min walk. And if you want a place for coffee or a bite to eat, you are just a 10min drive from all you need. I would highly recommend this place and the area in which it is in is well worth a look.

In order to get there you can walk from one of the nearby villages or by parking your car on the hill. We went on foot which wasn't the best idea, it's undeed very nice place where you walk, but if you came to see the view from the skywalk then the distance on foot is just to big. On top of that, there isn't really much to see, what you see on this picture is all you see.

The steel observation platform built on the sandstone cliffs of the Weser river valley gives stupendous views up- and down-valley. It’s located near the Nordrhein-Westfalen–Niedersachsen–Hessen tripoint. It can be reached easily from a nearby car park or one of the longer hiking trails through the valley.

Nice view, well worth the steep climb/descent. Takes less than 10 minutes to reach the platform from the forest entrance.

Beautiful view from the skywalk. However, we were under the impression that it would be an actual skywalk as in having an excellent view during the walk trip, but there was only 1 single view point. The zig-zag way back to the ground was overgrown with plants, needing a desperate mowing.

The skywalk is not really a walk in the sky or a walk above trees or what have , but a platform. That does not diminish the fact it is worth going there to enjoy the beautiful view on the Weser river with villages and a train track. If you use the parking place nearest to the skywalk, the one with the sign indicating the view, it is short walk of a few 100 meters going down.
