Taj Darbar is such a worst hotel in Bodh Gaya. I ordered Puri and Sabji for breakfast and found rat's potty in Puri. I have attached photos for your reference. The manager and cook were not accepting this was rat's potty and they were accepting by saying the was BADA JEERA, I asked them to eat and they refused to eat, later they accepted that this was rat's potty. This hotel doesn't do pest control in its kitchen which is pathetic. The unprofessional staff can kill you by feeding you poisonous food. Please do not trust this hotel. Stayed just 1 night. Rooms are spacious and clean. Interestingly, dinner was very good but morning breakfast was below average.

A waste on the name of Hotel… Very hopeless Service even floor mat, drinking hot water, telephone, towels, etc hot water for bath not provided. Ripped off bedsheets provided. So shame on this hotel. Very bad hotel I’ve seen in my life. Ridiculous…….

I stayed here with my family in a triple room on 30/03/2022,the man on reception asked to pay Rs.3000/- for one night with complimentary breakfast ,but I will not recommend any one to choose it if it is even free or at lower rates by any booking site ,reasons are- 1-Aircondition and television was not working and even on repeated calls no one turned to see/rectify the problem,we were too tired that we slept . 2-Breakfast was not ready even at 7:45 am ,while I was told the breakfast timings 7:00 am to 10:00 am ,and on making the complaint in restaurant the girl there misbehaved and said we were not prior informed . 3-On final settlement of bills they asked to pay for breakfast as morning staff is not aware what the booking staff promised . 4-I asked for visitor book to write a comment or connect to his seniors he rudely refused ,I have the video of the same ,and they smiled mischievously as we departed helplessly. Please don’t choose this property ,this is not related with ‘TAJ” Group of hotels and most of the reviews prior given are either false or paid .

Good place to stay with your family and also very good location. It's very near to the Mahabodhi Temple . The people in the hotel made me so welcomed. it really shows the effort they put in to know their guests well. In future I am came again.

The worst hotel I've ever visited. It is like a lesson which taught me to never judge the quality of a hotel by its name. Even though its name is 'TAJ' it doesn't go with the standards. They are not punctual at all. Their pamphlet says that the breakfast timings are from 6 to 9, however they still are not ready to provide us breakfast at 6.30am and gave different excuses.

I took a package which had buffet breakfast included in it, but there was no buffet. All there was was alo Paratha, pori sabji, and orange juice Also the service at the restaurant and the reception was below average.

Has always maintained good food quality, overall more than 3 times visit, never got disappointed, veg and nonveg both available. Not so expensive, genuinely priced.

Stay was fantastic I don't have any complaints to staff n management. Staff behavior is good specially Mr. Shekhar sir. I always recommend to my family I they arrive bodhgaya.

During our breakfast, we were asked if I want normal water or mineral water. I have to pay extra for bottled mineral water. I clearly told the waiter I want normal water. During check out, the receptionist asked me to pay extra for 2 mineral water. He showed me a scribbled signature on a receipt as proof. It was not my signature.he asked me to wait and called the restaurant staff (who was not the person who served me) . They spoke in Hindi and he told me I should have checked myself if it was normal water or mineral water. Am I working in water department to do testing in water and how will I know if the water served to us was mineral water or normal water. I asked for normal water. It was served to us from a metal jug. And the signature was not mine. I wish to tell the receptionist to learn some manners and not treat guest like criminals who will cheat the hotel for some 2 mineral water fee. I felt humiliated with his action to interrogate me such. So please learn some manners! Please avoid this hotel. Spend your money and give your business to better people who treat you with respect

Food quality is really good. Service rendered by young boys is very excellent.OVERALL MY REMARKS I CAN GIVE "A"GRADE. STILL THERE IS MUCH SCOPE FOR BETTER IMPROVEMENT TOO. .

This hotel is located very near to Mahabodhi, Jagannath, Srilankan, Thai, Nepali, Japanese, Bangladesh temples and 80feet height Buddha temples. The service and restaurant facilities are very good. But. Hotel management has to think of changing the Air Conditioners.

The food was super good and service was superb awesome.🥰and the Anuj did the great job with his service and make us feel like family dining together. And the best part was they really wait for us even they close there restaurant.

Looks good from outside, worst hotel. Toilet is unclean, commode covers coming outside ,no hot water .No faucets. Flush out is not working .Rooms 351, 352. Tours & travel agencies may have tie up. Please look for other lodges

Good hotel to stay , a very courteous staff. For dinner tava roti, plain daal, and salad was excellent. Definetly recommend for stay over here for a tour of Boudh Gaya as well as for overnight stay for pilgrims to visit Gaya.

Not a great experience. Staff ill-mannered and lazy, long waiting time at Restaurant even when hardly any customers were there. Tables at the restaurant were not even clean. The Hotel needs to seriously work on their hospitality and above all, Hygiene.

Charging premium rates but not premium amenities in room. Cable connection not recharge. No hot water, door locks not working, restaurant food not up to the mark. Room rent not more than Rs. 1000 to be paid.

Poor hospitality from the reception staff. Though the hotel claims providing for breakfast at 6 in the morning, it couldn't keep its committed timelines. Everyday we had to leave without any breakfast. Despite our arrival at about 1800 hrs, the rooms weren't ready. It's a perfect place to stay if you really want to spoil your visit to Bodhgaya.

Visited this hotel for lunch during our visit to Gaya. The restaurant was very neat and clean. They served quality food. Their service was also quick.

Third class hotel. Had a terrible stay through out. MR. Shailesh Kumar who claims to be Head of Department couldn't even solve WiFi issue instead of that he says that he can't do anything thing and dodged the customer.

We family stayed for one day, food was very good. When asked Receptionist Dwivesh for drinking water, he demanded us to buy only packed mineral water and declined to provide normal RO water. Receptionist behaviour was very worst, arrogant and rude.

The room was clean and tidy. The hotel and it's surrounding was also neat and clean. The quality and quantity of food both were up to the mark. The mixed veg was wonderful and had a unique taste. Even their butter chicken was also very tasty. The staffs and the manager were even very well behaved and responsible. Overall it was a good experience!

Perfect ambience for holding a wedding ceremony. The only thing with the rooms was that the rooms do not have proper lights so it was very difficult to get ready without the perfect light. The bathroom was good but they didn't provide tissue paper . Otherwise, the ambience of the hotel is very pretty and high class.
