Amazing view of the ocean and mountains from the huge glass windows. The coffee is good and included as many refills as you wanted. The cinnamon buns were delicious, altough the largest ones were more than twice as large as the smaller ones, but they cost the same: e.g the size of the bun is incosistent. The sourdough waffle with ice cream and berries is also really good. Be aware that this is not a sweet waffle, but the berries and ice cream is sweet (and really good). They also serve more dinnerlike dishes, and they serve the LOCAL SPECIALITY "møsbrømlefse" which is a must try. My only gripe with the museum is that the entrance tickets for the boatmuseum is too expensive, and as such I have not seen it. The café however is free to enter and worth it to go to on its own for the nice view of the ocean, especially during winter. The café is spaceous, but the interior is appears a bit cold (don't worry it is heated, but it looks cold) with all the naked concrete floors.

Interesting and nicely maintained museum about the fishing history of the coast of Norway and the special wooden ships used in the past. The museum is located in picturesque area and inspires to discover the area even more. Friendly, very welcoming staff. Interesting stories. Small souvenir shop and a restaurant.

Very interesting place, if you're interested in Norway's naval trade history you should go. There's a real Jekt in there and it's huge!

Atmospheric! Fascinating history of trade along the Norwegian coast. Opened recently (2019). Centrepiece is the only remaining Jekt boat - impressive. All information in English and Norwegian. Friendly staff. If you are at the airport with a few hours to kill it is a 5 minute taxi trip.

Gives a very good history of early Norwegian trade and the development of the vessels that were essential to it. The presentation of the 'Anna Karoline' with realistic sights, smells and sounds is excellent. Plenty of English descriptions and some interesting interactive experiences. Overall some of their exhibition is probably still being developed. We found it a valuable addition to our Norwegian experience.

(Translated by Google) The shore was a peaceful and beautiful place. I loved the shore because I could find silence and enjoy the view in nature, and now you have destroyed Bodøsjø shore with the ugly construction. Wish you did not have the museum in the middle of the shore.

A local Jekte-museum. They also got a small café serving a bit of food, coffee and a few cakes. You can also find a few souvenirs here as well. If you are interested in stockfish and Norwegian boat history you'll be pleased to have a visit here. Would definitely recommend tourist as much as locals to take a trip some time.

Amazing and interesting exhibition about the life and times of early Norwegian life. The main item in the Museum is a fishing boat which takes center stage. Well worth a visit via the local bus network, short walk from bus stop

(Translated by Google) Incredibly nice exhibition, with a lot of history about hunting, culture and way of life at the time. There was some noise in the rooms from many angles, so more selective sound zones would have been better if earbuds. (Original) Utrolig fin utstilling, med mye historie om jektefarten, kultur og levesett på den tiden. Var endel støy i lokalene fra mange vinkler, så mere selektive lydsoner hadde vært bedre evt øreklokker.

(Translated by Google) Impressive piece of work laid out in the museum, this was fun to watch. I think the Jektefartsmuseet must be one of the better museums in the country. A pleasant guide was quickly on the spot with her knowledge and clearly showed that she was proud of the house and its contents. The color of time in the form of large picture sets also made an impression - the best experience in Bodø city was definitely this museum.
