I met an old friend here for dinner and drinks this week, at a recommendation from a friend. This restaurant was not at all what I expected. The outside is cute and whimsical…but the inside was so nice! The tall walls that shelved books and wine was such a classy touch. So stunning on the inside! Our waitress was so sweet and patient. She also gave us the best recommendations for what to try. We both had classic like margaritas…& they were yummy! I wasn’t the biggest fan if their salsa…it was WAY too oniony. That’s literally all I could taste. But, our waitress did bring us a complimentary bowl of Fideo, and it was DELICIOUS! We also both ordered the Raspberry Chipotle Chicken…and listen. This wasn’t just yummy…it was probably one of the best meals I’ve EVER eaten in my life. The chicken melted in your mouth, the mashed potatoes were so creamy…and that raspberry chipotle sauce?? I need a jar of that! It was the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. I cannot wait to go back and have the meal again! Maybe at some point I’ll try something else. Haha!! Overall- the BEST experience. I’ll definitely be back.

This was such a spectacular experience. The owner is so kind and thoughtful and checked in with everybody. Our server, Alyssa worked very hard to bring us our amazing food. I wish I would’ve taken a picture of what we ordered but it was so delicious we forgot. The atmosphere is phenomenal and on Tuesday. They have a beautiful live guitar music

So happy to have found this restaurant. The food is very good. There is a strong New Mexican influence blue corn tortillas and all. The service was so good. The food came out fast and hot. The atmosphere was so nice highlighted by the musician not loud or intrusive just calm. The owner was very attentive to all his customers. He would come by to make sure everything was fine. I will be back!

We had lunch here today while passing through town and it was delicious! Our server was not overly chatty, just down to business and he did a great job. 👍 The chips and salsa was also delicious, and we were given a small noodled soup appetizer as well. I would definitely come back, wished we lived closer.

We love that the owner Fernando comes by to check in to make sure we love our food and service. Our servers Orlando and Ricardo are always so efficient and kind. The food and margaritas are the best in town. Thank you from your Boerne Pickleball Friends!

Ordered the chile relleno (before/after I cut into it) & chicken/beef fajitas. The beef & chicken fajitas are the best fajitas we’ve had in a while. The Chile relleno was very delicious as well. On my next visit I hope to go when the music is live and/or playing. The staff was very friendly and our waitress, was excellent.

It was the BEST restaurant we have been to in a long time. The restaurant was clean, the server was attentive, and the food was fabulous! The margaritas are the BEST! Our food was served hot, and the flavor of the food was on point. The BEST rice we have EVER eaten. Las Guitaras is well worth the trip to Boerne to eat. We were also serenaded by the owner, and all we can say is we hope he will find the time to continue playing.

I drove into Boerne to meet my sister for lunch. She had been wanting to try this place for a while now. After finding parking 2 blocks away, we were seated by the very kind host. It was surprisingly empty for the time of day and number of vehicles. Maybe 4 minutes later, the waiter came. I ordered the special (see pics), and she had the chalupas. For drinks, she had water and I had the SWEET tea. As a Texan, I appreciate a good tea. This was NOT it. 30(ish) minutes later, the host brought our food. We thought sour cream was supposed to come with the chalupas, but the waiter never checked on us, so we had no one to ask. The HOST refilled our drinks, since there was no one waiting on us. I took 1 bite out of each enchilada. I managed to choke down the blue and white, but the red almost made me vomit. I spit it into the paper lining of the chips basket and wadded it up, since, again, THE WAITER DISAPPEARED. The COOK came to check on us and I asked for a to go box. My husband eats gas station food for lunch, so I knew my TWENTY DOLLAR MEAL wouldn't go to waste since he will eat anything. Magically, the "waiter" appeared when it was time to pay. Very disappointed. The atmosphere was okay, but the "service", overly sweet tea, and "food" brought the whole mood down.
