It's a good option for a hotel if you are around Jakarta and Bogor and need to get away from traffic and city noise. The higher your hotel room is, the better view you get. The room is nice but the view is quite gorgeous. At one point, I forgot that I was still around Bogor, especially with those luscious trees outside our room. The restaurant menu is pretty decent. If you are up for a nice refreshing swim in cool water, this is the place for it. Their kids' options are somewhat nice with price tags. Hopefully, in the future they'll reconsider pricing their kids' stuff. I find it interesting to charge extra to access certain facilities like kids outdoor activities when hotel guests have paid more than a million rupiah for the room. If you are looking for a short break from hectic Bogor, this is a good option.

The hotel is comfortably located within the Rancamaya estate area. It is designed to maximize the environmental richness and the lush greenery of Bogor. The hotel itself is well maintained, modern, well kept, and the staff is friendly. The service is also good and appreciation towards the responsiveness. However the food and beverage of the hotel requires improvement and innovation.

A very comfortable and beautiful atmosphere, the hotel staff who are very friendly and responsive in service, as well as the quality of the 5-star hotel chef's cuisine, really make the experience of staying at Hotel R Rancamaya the most memorable experience.

The ambience and venue are superb! It's very refreshing here, and it's green and you will be automatically relaxed. However, considering the room rate, the adequate food taste and the room are making this place a bit too much. I don't think it is worth the price of the room rate with that simple room and usual food taste.

What a fantastic place for a family holiday! We were happy to pay the extra for the children friendly activities. Our room was a little mouldy due to the Indonesian humidity. The horses escaped the paddock, which was amusing as they galloped past the breakfast area.

It's very comfortable hotel to stay. The area around is huge to explore with lots of facilities : sauna, spa, jacuzzi, tennis court, basket ball court, billyard, table tennis, mini supermarket market, conference and meeting rooms and so on. Food and beverages at the restaurant are modest for the taste and price. Free breakfast. The parking lots are adequate. The scenery around the hotel is great.

The service initiating from receptionists till the cleaning service is very tremendous compared to Le Eminence… I could give them a score of 100. In terms of breakfast & food served for meeting, it comprised of variety of foods commencing from full meal till desserts… from tea up to juice are available In terms of landscape & view, it consists of several sites while one may be used for cycling, another for golf course and the other for running& walking with green area… This point is their INDEED competitive advantage… My bad experience is my room 615 is facing broken AC thus I & my colleague sleep without AC… the same experience was faced by several of our colleagues in other room I dun know how management compensate beside saying sorry for inconvenience for that

Nice hotel, children frendly with lots of facilities: outdoor playground, indoor playground, deers, swan, birds, rabbit, swimming pool, small football field, a lots of public space, garden, chairs, recommend for family or event for company's meeting.

This is a 3 star hotel. The room very standard. The amenities is stingy. U hv to ask for extra. Altho the housekeeping reacted fast. The worst is the regulations that if u lost the access card to room, u hv to pay 50k. The card is very old and ugly. In sg, u can take as many as u want or the hotel doesn't even bother to return the card.

Great hotel with great view and strategic location. Too bad for me that i have received a room with a clogged toilet. I complaint 4 times, and only at the 4th complaints (at my last day before check out), only the technician dare to open the toilet and found a mineral water glass flushed down and stuck beneath the toilet bowl.

This hotel is kids friendly, with spacious room and bed. R hotel has many kids attraction, for example, mini zoo and playing garden. They also have various menu for breakfast. Don't missed the pool and other sport facilities here. Hardly wait to come back here again. ,💖

The hotel was splendid. The staff were friendly, there were a lot of facilities and they are well maintained. One flaw was the phone on the room we were staying was not working. We called the technician to fix the phone, but the phone still didn’t work. Overall this is a good stay when you’re looking for a hotel far from the main area of Bogor.

This morning I wanted to borrow an iron because in room 116 there was no iron provided, the receptionist said that the guest had borrowed the iron. and when it will be pressed only at 7.30 because the housekeeping staff has just arrived. Is housekeeping not available 24 hours? The receptionist does not respond to guest needs. If you're just waiting for the housekeeping staff to come, please take me to housekeeping to iron it myself in the housekeeping room. Customer handling at this Rancamaya hotel is very bad and does not meet customer expectations. Please the General Manager of Hotel Rancamaya can pay attention to small things like this. And teach all officers to be solutive and not rigid.

Not too bad of a place. Not to far from jakarta so not bad for a weekend get away. Well it is not a 5 star hotel so some stuffs are lacking. But kids love the place since it got small place for animal feeding and horse riding and some other activities.

First time to the hotel and expect to have a good time with family. Check in to a room given on 3rd floor and still smells paint quite strong. They said just painted few days ago. Should have open the windows to reduce the smells. They have given no alternative with similar room within the area. They say that the smell can easily off in a while... While it has been few days the smell of the paint stay strong. Not an experience we would expected...

Great view great service with lots of activities if you are travelling with group or family. We got the grand suite and the room was breathtaking, spacious and bright with the mountain view! The food was average tho for hotel standard and I think the bed was not the cleanest I got a case of bed bugs rash :( Probably going back bringing my own bed vacuum 😶

High recomended to stay!! Kid friendly because it has a lot of play ground also outbond for kids. Restaurant also has a good food + drink. Swimming pool beside your room.

Good view and kids friendly with big space of playground. But for the rooms, looks like not maintained properly, some of the faucet are broken, not worthed for the the room in the high price range. Some of the hotel employee not in expected hospitality for the high grade of hotel.

Always a pleasure to be here, especially the garden. Now they have wobbit area, pony horses and super cool playgrounds. They also have kids flying fox, archery and shooting place with charge 85K/games. You can have 15minutes to enjoy your 85K in each games. Overall so worthed to take your family here. Oh ya, in the garden you guys free to bring your dogs as long as they're trained well. The food, the weather and the ambience always makes us miss this place🥰🌲🌿🌳🌱🍄🍁🌷🌹🌻🌼🌸🍃🍂🌦🌧🌞🌬💨

The hotel is very comfortable. The ambience looks very fresh because the hotel near to the mountain. The pool is the one that i like it very much because the water very clean and so fresh swimming there. For the room is clean and large that make me comfortable stay in this hotel.

It's a great hotel. It's very grand and the location is great. There's so much to do from bike riding, golfing, maze, wabbit motels, bird motels, and so much more. The rooms looks aesthetically pleasing and it has a great design. The beds are comfy and the AC is strong. The water is strong as well, and there's a huge mirror on the wall in the bathroom. All the cable ports(?) worked and the coffee machine only took around 3-5 minutes to boil. TV had great options and breakfast food is good. Overall great hotel.

The hotel is bit aged but well maintained. The view is priceless. We can see the mount of Salak from our rooms. The main swimming pool is long. There are three swimming pool around the complex. The foods were fine. I think they are specialized with chilli (sambal) and dried fished. They always served varieties of them at their buffet counter. Good for family and corporate gathering.

Impressive appearance, pleasant but very slow staff, nice room, comfortable bed. Beneath the classy appearance the R Hotel is seriously flawed. R Hotel takes advantage of a culture that doesn't complain about glacially slow service. From the staff that just sit and stare doing nothing, to the lack of family activities on weekdays,  R Hotel is really disappointing. Invest in training and maybe you can salvage a once satisfactory resort.

Room size is big enough, bathroom is small, has a balcony, mountain view is a plus, facilities are amazing!! Pool size is super big, everything inside the hotel, no need to go out! Check in process was fast, the front office staff is friendly and very informative, breakfast is great with many varieties, 5 stars hotel with trully 5 stars facilities!!

Room is spacious, many drawers, electric socket. Single bed 140cm which great. Extra mini bed in the corner will usefull for extra person. The mountain view awesome. The facility not bad like pool and gym, For the playground, even have several game, for me is quite expensive. For an hour, tried paddle boat, atv, shooting target, flying fox . Breakfast was great , variation of menu , the taste all good

The hotel is nice though I had a scary experience twice. The bedding are comfy, rooms are clean, amenities complete. I also love the food and service here. The ambience is also really fine. I might recommend this hotel for you to have a quiet and peaceful staycation. Worth the price 👌🏻
