Batutulis Station (BTT) is a class III/small train station located in Lawanggintung, South Bogor, Bogor City, West Java. Even though it is named Batutulis, this station is not located in the Batutulis sub-district area, but is located to the east of the sub-district and borders this station. The station, which is located at an altitude of +299 m, is included in Operation Area I Jakarta. In 2009, this station served Bumi Geulis trains to Bogor and Sukabumi, but this service was stopped at the end of December 2012 because the trains used were old. After a hiatus of several months, PT KAI finally re-operated this station with the launch of the Pangrango train.

Batu Tulis train station was established in Dutch colonial age. I coincidentally met with the dependent of the first Station Master in a little cafe shop nearby. The building is quite old and in style. According to the source the passenger train runs 3 times a day from Bogor Station to Sukabumi Station. The view outside of the station is breathtaking as we can see Cisadane River runs from Salak Mount. The air is fresh and we can see the the bridge over the river called "Jembatan Cihideung" which means The black bridge, this is because the connected to Cihideung area on the way to Sukabumi. This street is also used as an alternative way to Sukabumi if we tired strolling through the main road.

Historical railway station in southern bogor. Built by nederlandsch indische staatspoorwegen to connect bogor and sukabumi line as the first segment of Bogor - yogyakarta railway line. There is no passengers service at the moment, but there will be in future. The station may be undergo redevelopment due to the railway expansion program between bogor and sukabumi from single track to double tracks railway line.
