Anyway long story short in the 90s the couple who start the restaurant separated and the wife start over and change the logo to her portrait named ayam Suharti. It was said ardhita resto in Bogor is the extended one from the ex husband of Suharti. The concept for both of ardhita resto in Bogor were quite catchy. From outside it doesn't look like a restaurant but more like a traditional building. Although the one at Iskandar street, ardhita resto and lounge, captured more into modern style. The menu also reflected a fusion style between traditional ardhita and western. I had Ayam sampyok (65k for 1/2 chicken), Nasi Bali (55k), Junior spaghetti bolognese (39k), Colenak (40k) and Iced latte (27k). Not a fan of ayam sampyok, the original kremes traditional fried chicken was definitely the best dish in ardhita. Nasi bali was just okay although I like the sambal. They make a twist for colenak because they add ice cream and marshmallow which not my taste bud for this kind of traditional dessert, eventhough the fermented cassava and brown sugar shredded coconut (the colenak itself) was nice!

The chicken was very tender, although it could have more seasoning to make it more intriguing. The star for me was the tumis buncis ebi which was pretty delicious and had a fair portion. The best presentation goes to the Colenak, which had a nice combination of color and taste. I was at first afraid that it may be too sweet seeing the combination of ice cream, tape, and some other ingredients I’m not sure of, but surprisingly had a nice balance of sweet and sour The general vibe of the place was very classy and neat overall a great place to bring your family and children. And the parking is quite spacious so no need to worry about that.

When I visited the Resto for lunch many of food and beverages is not available at that moment. Only chicken menu is available.
