The park is beautiful! They put a lot of hard work into this place! I enjoy it every time I visit!

Very nice park! Wife and I visiting our daughter and son in law. We have NOTHING like this in Arkansas. We have trails and mountains in the north western part of the state but nothing like this! And it’s just a 5 min drive from their home in Harris Ranch 😃 beautiful park, beautiful city, beautiful state!!!!

First time here. Rented a raft at Boise tube and raft Co. and floated the Boise river for the first time. We had a great time.

This park is absolutely beautiful. It runs along the river and the water looks and sounds peaceful and relaxing. The kids loved the trails and I love the location. Definitely a great place to enjoy the weather.

Great place to float the Boise River from. Floating you're a great way to experience Boise. Included with your rental is a shuttle back from Ann Morrison Park to Barber Park.

Great trails for a walk in nature. You can get to little beach areas on the Boise River and fish or hang out. Swift current when I was there so I wouldn't swim. Barber Park has a river rafting/tubing company. Restrooms.

We love Barber. It's our starting point for all our advetures! Walks, bike rides, floating, playing at the park, and just exploring and enjoying nature!

Covid has really brought everyone outdoors. Not that I can or should complain about that. But we make this a usual yearly trip when we go see family in Boise. We haven't usually had to pay for parking, but when capacity is as high as it was this year, I get why they enforced it. As for the park, not much to do there except for preparing rafts, boards and tubes for launch. The river is always beautiful and very memorable. Rapids on river are enjoyable enough for adults but definitely calm enough for babies and up (on larger and more stable vessels). Amazing bike path along this river and fun bridge jumping available too. This is a definite go to for my wife and kids each year.

Barber Park is a great place for people to go rafting, paddle boarding, and other various water sports. It opened for wrapping up to June 27th this year (2022) - The water was literally ice cold when we were there in mid July. There were no places that I saw for picnicking but there is a walkway alongside the river and some restaurants.

Very pretty park, its where you launch the rafts for the Boise River. As well as taking a nice walk along a path to find somewhere to fish while soaking up the nature all around you. A must see park for sure.

We rented a raft and all the required equipment to float the river. Reasonable cost, just over a hundred bucks for the 6 person rental and the bus ride back. Speaking of the bus ride, that was half of the adventure. Just hold on.

It was better with the air hoses but still a great spot for starting the float on the river.

Please bring back the air for people tubing. It would make the area of dropping off less congested. Great work keeping the park nice and clean!

Always fun, if only for a short bit before floating the Boise river

The park is nice. The raft rental is closed this time of year. I just visited to reminisce about times past. I've had a lot of fun here years ago.

If you’ve never floating the river, I highly recommend you try it! We had such a good time. A couple things to keep in mind: they’ve removed the air pumps, so bring your own or fill up your floating devices before arriving. They told us that there were some portable ones around, but we looked over the entire parking couldn’t find any. Unfortunately, they said they remove the ones they had during Covid. I hope they choose to put them back. Other than that, just keep in mind parking is seven dollars and your state park sticker doesn’t give you access. Bathrooms are really clean and the staff is really nice.

Nature walks, fishing stretches, hiking, foraging, floating, swimming, and photography. This park has it all. Less busy during the fall and a good place to take your dog out on a nice walk. I recommend visiting this park if you just want peace and quiet during autumn for a nice stroll. Wildlife and birds are abundant if you enjoy wildlife photography or landscape photography. It's definitely worth a visit. I have been here on the weekends in the past during summer, and it can get congested with floaters and other visitors.

My biggest issue is that even with the Idaho parks pass you still have to pay 7 bucks every time you park at Barber yet the free parking across the bridge is only about 8 spots.

The facility is lovely. Great place to put into the Boise River for a fun float. I am sad they took out the air pumps. So bring your own or everything ready to go. Restrooms as expect for a busy place. Glad to have them though.

I liked it! The river was nice, the walk was nice and so we're the trees. We saw some cool wildlife as well, but they could make it a bit more exciting cause it can get boring after a while making you want to leave.

Nice trail along the river. I picked blackberries along the way and watched rafters in the river. Very scenic and peaceful.

Lovely and green. A nice little spot to have a family get together or picnic. Part of the Greenbelt runs through here and is easy to access.

Nice park with awesome access to the river. Nice stairs to get into the river. I'd love to float it again to Ann Morrison. Very kid friendly of river.

Long lines to rent anything, whether you go in the weekend or on a weekday. They took away the public air compressors to fill up your own tube. Still fun starting point to raft the river, but best ti come prepared with all of your own equipment as you can’t count on any there.

Very nice park with sand volleyball, play spaces for older kids and younger kids alike. Water park option, ice cream stand and plenty of green space. Parking was very adequate as well. Very clean and well maintained.

Nice little walk to find a little fishing spot and the kids got to play in the water for a little bit although the water was freezing of course 😂 we had fun!

Great for playing football with the boys in the neighborhood, weddings, bicycle rides along the greenbelt, river floats and birdwatching. Nice and informative staff, too.

A very nice park where you can walk on a natural trail! It is quiet, beautiful and highly recommended!

I grew up by this park and to see what people have done to it almost makes me cry. I used to come here all the time to get away from people, cars, and to just enjoy the nature. But someone decided to build a parking lot and some kind of a convention center. The only nature I saw was a wounded deer that looked like it was hit by a car. No ducks. No otters. No turtles. Just one giant carbon footprint that man just had to leave.

Nice trails that run along the river. Dog likes to explore on them, even though leash required. As busy as Amity/Eckert is now, ingress and egress to the park is getting dicey, and should be improved at some point.
