Great stay, fun location! This stay was to celebrate a birthday, and the Grove went out of their way to make it special. Front desk staff was very busy when we arrived but they didn't miss a beat! Room was quiet and comfortable. I'm from Caldwell and have always looked at the Grove as one of the elite hotels, and I'm glad I was able to experience that level of service. We look forward to our next stay-cation here. Thanks to everyone for making it special!

Great hotel at a good price. Rooms were great. Bed was a little soft but that’s more a preference issue. Hosts were great. Check in was easy. Bartender was AMAZING. Location is awesome - walking distance for list of good restaurants. Only issue was very bad restaurant service from a female server at the hotel breakfast restaurant, but didn’t ruin our day as the food was still very good. I’d def stay again!

The hotel and its amenities are 5 star. However, the front desk customer service is about a 1. Over the weekend, My husband and I chose this hotel to stay in since our family was in town and it is close to awesome restaurants/bars in downtown Boise. The staff wasn’t the friendliest, but we made the best out of our check-in experience since we were just as anxious to get settled in our rooms as they were trying to get us into one. Come Monday morning, I realized I left my business credit card in the hotel room after checking out. I called the front desk asap and a female representative confirmed they had the physical card in their hand and it was ready for me to pick up. I left my work early on Tuesday afternoon to make my way up to Boise (two hours away from where I live) to grab my card. I made sure to call the front desk to let them know I was indeed on my way and to have it ready for when I arrived. Ella, front desk rep, let me know that it was not a problem and they would have it ready. Well, just as I feared.. my credit card had magically disappeared and the four girls at the front desk could not find it. They had an obvious careless attitude and were the least tentative to my issue/concerns. I left empty handed and frustrated as ever!! Something was very fishy about the whole situation and I made sure to cancel my card asap. Definitely will take my business back to the Inn at Capital 500. At least they give beer or champagne at check-in.

The location of The Grove is perfect! Before arrival we were stressed because it’s in the middle of downtown, but with valet, self parking/attached garage, and helpful staff we had no issues. Trillium Restaurant had great breakfast and one of the best fillet mignon we’ve ever had. The restaurant staff and front desk staff were so nice and very attentive. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. It had nice natural lighting and a great view.

Staying at this hotel was just purely remarkable. The rooms were great, the value was just right, everything this place has value. Restaurant(s) from inside were just amazing, really loved every detail staying this place. If there was anything you wanted to do nearby, it is just right there in front of you. I highly recommend this place to travelers should you stay in Boise, or just passing by. Really love this place, I would visit once again.

Super nice place with great service. I left a 15 dollar watch on the night stand and came back after room service cleaned the room and it was gone, so my only recommendation is to not leave anything valuable in your room in an easy to find spot. I didn't think anyone would take a cheap watch, however I was wrong. 😔

This was probably the most frustrating Hotel experience I've had (and I travel a lot). When I originally booked with you I never received an email confirmation. So weeks later I was confused on whether I booked and booked a second time. Still no confirmation email was sent. A week before my stay I finally received two back to back confirmations. I meant to ask about this, but forgot. When I came to check in I specifically asked if I had two reservations, the person at the front desk said I did not and that I must have received a double email, which they say happens sometimes. During this, they also forgot (and I forgot) to verify what day I was checking out. It turns out one of the reservations I booked (and the one I was checked in on) had me leaving a day earlier than I was supposed to. So we got to what I thought was the day before I needed to leave and I was told I needed to leave then. At this point they looked and found my other reservation, but had cancelled it (charged me a fee) and given the room to someone else. All rooms were booked. I was there for a conference in your hotel (and will be coming 3x/year) and had to skip a couple hours of the conference while I figured this out, found another hotel, packed, checked out, checked into new hotel, then finally came back. I know I'm not totally innocent here. I was a mess with my reservations, but from the email confirmations to trying to speak to someone at the front desk about it, I certainly was not helped out in fixing up the issues. Through error after error (by me and your side) it ended up being an extremely frustrating time.

Where do I start? Lets start with the Valet. The crew on the Valet team are quick and professional. Next, the Front desk staff. Upon checking in and checking out they were awesome! When we got to out room we had some chocolates and note welcoming us for our honeymoon. The room was clean, and the view was even better. We didn't get a chance to check out the restaurant but spent time some time at the bar relaxing at the end of days being out and about. I can't say enough about Hayley and Haley! My wife and I both chatted with them both nights and they were both awesome! Thanks for the hospitality!!

Great stay as always. Great staff, clean rooms and best hotel in Boise! The best restaurant and bar also. Cass is the best, friendliest and fun bartender I have ever met! Absolutely amazing service! Give that girl a raise! We will be back just because of her. The best!

Unfortunately there were a few bumps in our stay. The first being i was charged over 1k as the hold fee on accident, and although the on site manager and employee that did it were amazing and got our room upgrade complemented, it was still a frustrating stay. We were in a patio suite and it is right under the gym. The noise from the gym radiates and shake the ceiling. You can hear dumb bells and machines cracking, and the gym music blasting, my baby was sick and wouldn't fall asleep due to the noise. The next problem was the sofa bed in the suite was 3 different heights so my husband didn't sleep the entire first night as my sick kids were in the bed with me- his hips and back hurt so bad he opted to sleep on the floor instead for the 2 night stay. 300+ a night to sleep on the floor. We got a cot to see if that was any better but it was definitely not the springs were broken and the matress was 2in at best. We asked for an extra duvet and it was delivered still very wet from the washing. Any how, the staff was great in that they generously offered the upgrade but that mistake they made held over 1k out of my account was no fun... the hotel was clean and the location couldn't be better for why i was there. I just wish a suite would have been a bit more comfortable and less noisey. Trillium was a disappointment. 20 burger for just meat and cheese. Nothing special, overpriced.

The gym/spa are fabulous. Room was great. However when I book a hotel like the Grove, I expect a bit more. There were used, false eyelashes in the tub when we arrived. On being notified the staff took care of it quickly which was great. However I expected the maid service to be more thorough in the first place and to be offered some sort of remedy for the mistake.

Rooms are small and dark, but clean and well maintained. The bathrooms are especially tight for a hotel of this kind and price point. The staff was exceptional. We interacted with the shuttle drivers from/to airport, the front desk staff, housekeeping staff and bartenders and to a person they were well trained and accommodating. Someone is hiring and training well.

The room was spacious and clean with all the necessary amenities. The staff was SO friendly and helpful at the front desk, bar, and restaurant. I also really appreciate how fast and efficient the complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport was for guests. I would definitely stay at The Grove again in the future!

Staff was pleasant enough, and great locations but there were a few things I'd recommend improving. 1. Charging for water in the gym (most places have free water bottles readily available) 2. Charging for a forgotten comb (same comment as above) 3. Common areas (outside of hotel lobby) need to be updated. Wall and floor coverings seem very old and dark.

The room was a little disappointing. The bathroom smelled of mold/mildew, like when something is constantly damp. I think it's the wallpaper. The air conditioner was a little loud. The bed felt like it was on a slant. The refrigerator was warm but I left the cabinet door open and it cooled down(Refrigerators should not be enclosed in a cabinet). My daughter's room had a spot of wet carpet and she had to move to another room, when she returned after midnight, and found the carpet soaked. The fire alarm went off the next morning and we had to walk down 11 flights of stairs, but apparently, after the firemen checked everything, there was no reason for it. No apologies, no compensation for any of our trouble. Nothing. It was in the perfect location for us but other than that, it was disappointing.

Our stay was wonderful from the moment we pulled up to the valet and we’re greeted by a very nice young man. The front desk was more than helpful and very pleasant. They made sure we were taken care of the entire stay. The bar staff was friendly and quick to serve us. Room service from Trillium was amazing and the food was beyond our expectations! The valet staff was under a lot of pressure at checkout with the overwhelming amount of guests yet hustled were extremely prompt to ensure we got our vehicle as soon as we could. Thank you to the entire staff and hope you all have a great 2022!

I attended a meeting at the Grove. It's modern, attractive & enjoyable. The lobby has a coffee/bar, nice restaurant & friendly staff. From this spot you can walk to the Basque neighborhood & to the large farmers market on Saturdays. Close to fun shops & good eats. Yum!

Great location and hotel. Maverick is a wonderful valet so helpful. Jaeden at Trillium excellent too. Could have done without the Alice in Chains concert keeping us up and a little concerned about security with concert goers having access to all the floors.

I've stayed there before, but I wouldn't do it again after this time. It is super convenient for the convention center, but without that, I was disappointed. The rug in the room was filthy. The upholstery on the chair was really worn down and shabby. Worst of all was the noise level in the room. The first night I thought it was a dump truck backing up, then the second, an alarm that kept going off in the next room. On the third day, I finally realized it was the old fridge going on and off and making a beeping noise. I lost two nights of sleep before unplugging the problem. Nice hotel, but upgrading is really overdue.

We reserved a terrace suite for my partner and I for the weekend of our wedding, and a block of rooms for some of our guests. The grove sales team was so helpful and accommodating, and the bar area on the first floor lobby is an unparalleled place to hang out with family and friends in the evening. Would highly recommend The Grove as primary lodging to anyone hosting a Boise wedding. The location is superb, the quality of the rooms and amenities are amazing, and the price is insane for what you get. Neighboring competitors offer half as much for way more. Five stars to The Grove team for making our wedding weekend so special! Thank you!

Everyone was very professional and polite. Our early check in was accommodated and very appreciated. The front desk staff held our luggage for us and set up transportation to the airport for us. Brian in the cafe/bar was excellent. thank you! If in Boise again we will definitely be back.

This would have been a 2 star review but the staff was so quick to fix the issue we had. We ended up checking in and getting a room, which ended up being not cleaned all the way, the bathroom was disgusting and the lock on the bathroom didn't work. Gratefully within 3 minutes of calling the staff they got us a new room with a very nice view at no extra charge. Mistakes happen with cleaning so I understand that, but the staff is all very helpful and willing to fix any issues right away which is what makes this a five star review. ( the new room was clean and the bathroom lock worked which was a plus). Will be staying here again.

Our stay was very nice up until the last day. Check-in was easy, our room was clean and not stuffy. I would say the pool area needs to be updated though. The pool and hot tub are very outdated. Our stay was very nice until we got a knock on the door on our last day at 9am from housekeeping asking us when we are going to be checking out. I told the housekeeper we'd be leaving around 10am. At 9:30am, we decided to take some of our things down to the car that was in the garage and we past the housekeeper on our floor as we were heading to the elevator. We went back up to our room and that housekeeper was in our room already making the bed, collecting the rest of our things and putting it in his cart. I spoke up and got after him and said "We are not gone yet!" He seemed confused and said "Oh I thought since I saw you walking with your luggage, you were checking out." I told him that he should not have assumed and we actually have until 11am to check-out if we wanted to leave and come back. He threw away some of our snacks that we were keeping for our road trip home, and our belongings were in his cart. So unprofessional and unhospitable. Never in my life have we received a knock on the door at 9am from housekeeping asking us when we were going to leave. We felt pushed out. Doesn't matter if we want to go to breakfast, come back and nap before checkout. I paid for the room. The fact that our belongings were still in the room! What if we put stuff in our car, left for breakfast, and came back to find our things gone! At checkout, I spoke with the manager on duty. She was very nice and obviously mortified that this happened to us. She did say that this was not the first time THAT DAY that she had heard that complaint from guests. She comped our parking and breakfast which was very nice of her. She was very apologetic and I told her other than this incident, we'd be happy to stay at the Grove again as we really enjoyed our stay. If you get a knock at the door the morning you're supposed to leave, tell them you have until check-out to leave the room. Just baffles me that a hotel would do this. I hope they train their staff on hospitality and what not to do.

The best hotel in Boise. My husband and I stayed for a weekend here and it was the best experience. The hotel staff is top notch, so nice and always a snail on their face. It was raining and they had umbrellas for us to use when walking around town. We loved the location as well - everything was walking distance. The room was very clean, and incredibly quiet. We could not hear anything when inside our room. We requested a high floor and away from elevator which they were able to accommodate as well. We will 100% be staying there again.

The Grove Hotel was the backbone of a wonderful weekend in Boise. The beautiful weather combined with fantastic local cuisine and watering holes made our stay extra special. The city was vibrant and alive with groups of revelers on pedal and alcohol fueled vehicles, roller skaters, kids dressed up and going to some type of Prom to older folks like us taking it all in. It was a magical weekend and one we will try to recreate regularly. The Grove is the perfect base for all your endeavors. Make sure you take advantage! Remember to dine at the Trillium restaurant..

The Grove Hotel was luxurious, clean, and comfortable! I had courteous and professional interactions with the front desk staff, housekeeping staff, and host and server in the Trillium Restaurant. In particular, I was very pleased with the gym: it had plenty of equipment for me to maintain my fitness regimen with similar equipment as my normal gym near my home. The pool and whirlpool tub were especially nice: I really appreciated the temperature and size of both. Of special note were the painted lane lines on the ceiling that allow the swimmer to know when they are approaching the wall. A hotel pool that is conducive to lap swimming is rare, even in a high-end hotel, so I was delighted to be able to use this pool during my 3-night stay.

Fantastic downtown hotel. Very clean and orderly with very friendly staff and everything you need. The rooms could definitely be updated, we were in 603, I'd add more towels, more towel bars (none near the shower, none at hand for hand drying), 2 more night stands for each side of the beds. The rest of hotel has all the great amenities, we really liked the bar in the lounge, great bartenders. One thing I wished for was a smoking area on the verandah so you can smoke there when it's not in use.

Unfortunately, my husband and I weren't able to stay here at the hotel during our visit to Boise, but we came into the bar last Monday and had the most incredible experience! Kai(? I'm not sure if that's how he spells it) and Eithan did an absolutely wonderful job! Kai was our main server and was an absolute delight! He talked to my husband about great liquors he should try and was incredibly accommodating in teaching us new things! He gave us amazing recommendations for our meals as well! Additionally, he gave us some awesome ideas on what to do while we were in town! I cannot recommend this bar and restaurant enough!

Room was very nice and clean. However, housekeeping carts were in the hallway and no one ever came into our room to even ask if we needed anything for our 4 day stay. We had to ask several times for towels, soap and wash cloths, etc. Their phones were constantly in use including loud music at times. Restaurant was very nice with excellent service. Other staff were cheerful and helpful too.

Enjoyed the hotel stay. Clean room and comfortable environment. The bar could stay open a little later, but it was a nice place to hang out after our conference concluded each day. The shuttle to and from the airport could use a bit more accountability - driver kept on driving right past us with an empty van when we were at the curb at the airport. We had called ahead to let them know a group of 11 would be waiting. Overall, good trip to Boise and would stay here again.

Stayed in the grand terrace suite. Very nice elegant room. Though it's important to note the shower in this room is very high up from the ground. Made it difficult to get in/out of the shower. During my morning shower, the water went cold for a few minutes and I had to keep turning it up. However due to the fact that this room was so nice, the terrace access was so convenient, I would like to give it four stars.

For the price of our room, I would have expected much softer towels that were much larger. We were disappointed that the jacuzzi closed at 10 pm. The pillows were way too stuffed and we woke with kinked necks. The bed was comfortable, the view was good, loved the robes, the staff was great! We won't stay again because there are far better prices that offer really soft towels, 24 hours jacuzzi, and free breakfast, with a room just as pretty.

I very much enjoyed my stay here. It had a convenient location in downtown, rental bikes, and a good bar in the lobby. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants and things to do. The room was clean and pleasant and had a good view. The only thing I would change is the pool - it's inside a separate fitness center with very limited hours, which isn't very relaxing if you are looking forward to chilling by the pool or in the hot tub and you realize it closes super early. Hopefully by now the hours are expanded a little
