Beautiful place. I had a wonderfully blissful day laying with my boyfriend, surrounded by trees on the ever so soft grass surrounding us. I am able to write and remember my grandfather, as well as the terrors of war he faced in service of our country, and how he fought for my freedom.

With this park being on the north side of downtown Boise, it's easy access for a lunch break or after work. There is plenty of shade and grassy area to play or have a picnic. There are bathrooms, a water fountain, and playground equipment available. Here is some great space to exercise and have fun and some to sit and be quiet and contemplative!

Its was a nice shaded park with a couple little squirrels running around waiting for you to toss them some of your lunch :) Not bothersome though.

Small play structure, couple of picnic tables, but lots of room and trees.

Beautiful little neighborhood park. Enjoyed a brown bag lunch there today with a friend. There is some seating; but we took lawn chairs so we could social distance. Nice, quiet, neighborhood setting - just lovely!

Nice quiet park. We do a lovely, easy to follow Tai chi class there every Tuesday at 8:30 am.

Our first trip to Boise was outstanding. Never been before but have heard so much about this wonderful little town. It did not disappoint. But of all the places that we visited veterans memorial Park on 6th avenue I believe, was the closing stop to each day we were in Boise. Summer 2022 end of July was a smoker for heat in Boise up in the hundreds easily. We'd go to watering holes to cool off during the day but in the evening when the sun went down we always found ourselves at memorial Park sitting in the grass, enjoying the peace and quiet with kids playing on the swing set, it was just a great place to meditate and wind down after a hectic day taking in everything there was to take in. This is a wonderful place to visit. It's amazingly hot temperature-wise but the area is very clean and void of homeless encampments

Perfect little gem of a park in downtown Boise. Close to foothills access trails.

This is a great little park with a swing set and a large slide/climbing apparatus. I like that everything is set back from the street a bit so my kids could run around and I wouldn't have to worry about them getting in to traffic.

Nice little park with lots of trees, benches, grass, and playground! A short walk away from many downtown attractions. A great place for a picnic or breath of fresh air. 10/10

This is a nice little shady park. The playground is well maintained and the grassy area is super green.
