Absolutely wonderful experience! The food, ambience and service was impeccable!! Great wine list!! There is always a waiting list for a table here, but the wait is well worth it. Reservations are not accepted. You may dine at the bar if seating is available, but I suggest you wait for a table as the bartender is very busy serving all of the drinks for the restaurant and it is a bit hectic at the bar. Enjoy!

This was my first time trying Lucianoโ€™s after hearing so many positive comments and I have to say I really enjoyed it. I ordered the Penne Luciano and I thought that the sun dried tomatoes gave it a nice flavor. The garlic bread was delicious! Staff was very friendly overall great experience! *(4/13/22) update tried the alfredo and it was sooo yummy!

Very cosy place. Amazing atmosphere, great friendly staff. We had the spinach artichoke appetizer - it was really really good and very cheezey. I had the chicken marsala with fettuccine. It was OK but needed more sauce or flavor. I tasted my friends lasagna it was very good better than most. We had the carrot cake flavor bread pudding with Ice cream and caramel. Very good. Spicy nutmeg carrot cake flavor. Did I mention friendly staff especially - Dahlia very informative and helpful.

Great home cooked Italian food in a very small location! Came here with relatives who live locally- there favorite place in Boise. We came at 5:00pm on a Wed- already a line. There is call ahead available, which we took advantage of. The bread they pass is light with a crispy top. Olive oil herbs and balsamic vinegar to dip in was great. We got the brie cheese and fried mozzarella. Everyone loved the brie- personally I'm not a brie fan or a honey fan, so it wasn't my thing. If you like those flavors I'm sure you would say it was amazing. The mozzarella was bomb! Two large pieces of cheese breaded and fried with a red dipping sauce. Literally light, crunchy and cheesey. So good! Salads were fresh and properly dressed. Seemed like the croutons were house made. If not they were still good. I got the salmon over burrata cheese ravioli with a dill cream sauce. Omg- amazing. I had planned to eat half and save the rest, but that didn't happen. Crispy salmon with a phenomenal sauce and 4 huge ravioli. Just amazing. I honestly didn't try anyone else's food but everyone raved. Our server Jenn did an excellent job. Fun, hard working, great with the kids. They are blessed to have her. Great place!

I'm sitting at the restaurant eating a second serving of garlic bread because that's how amazing it is. First off, the ambience is very nice. It is the restaurant for the chatter but there is not annoying music in the background so it's perfect. The waitresses are extremely busy but are handling their orders very well! The amount of plates they can carry is amazing. ๐Ÿ‘ Second, shoutout to Dahlia for her amazing service. Not only is she beautiful but she knows how to treat a customer right. She recommended a wine that I enjoyed more than I should've. Would've had a second but I'm alone so ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ Third, the rosemary buttery bread with the olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette mix was a very interesting appetizer! I have never had quite something like it. It hit my digestive system and I'm like "Oh boi, my stomach has a hard time recognizing the vinaigrette" having never tried it but it tasted very good, quite a twist to an appetizer if you ask me. Fourth and foremost, the baby I came for. The lasagna. This was the holy grail and I was not dissapointed. The cheese ontop was downright melty and so gooey, of perfect consistency. It was so hot I burnt my tongue three times before I stopped to analyze the pain going on, that's how good it was! I loved the seasoning as well, I didn't desire to add a dash of salt of my own. My favorite part? The garlic bread, hands down. Oh my goodness, so crispy, garlicy and buttery. It was also my dessert at the end, I asked for another piece. ๐Ÿคฃ Happy to say that I will be back once again to see Dahlia's beautiful smile and grab another plate of lasagna with a lot more garlic bread! Thank you Luciano's for an amazing experience! ๐Ÿค—

One of my very favorite restaurants. The stuffed mushrooms and bruschetta are fabulous. Their Rosemary bread with oil and balsamic start you off right. Chicken scallopini and manicotti with a 12 inch margarita pizza . Peach berry crisp and triple citrus cheese cake. Coffee Kat with a K honored us Rilyani boxes us and Mike too

What a wonderful restaurant. Delicious food, great service and a cozy neighborhood vibe. This was my favorite dinner while visiting Idaho. The portions were generous and you could taste the care that went into everything they put in front of us. I had the penne with bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and cream sauce with a perfectly crispy panko crust that was garnished with green onions and a piece of garlic bread. The cannolis were phenomenal as well. When I return to Idaho, this place will definitely be on the list.

Everything was great. The place soon became full and I watched it run like clockwork. Everone working well with eachother. Food was great. I loved stuffed mushrooms, these have a big taste of spegitti sauce.

We had a party of 6. The wait was an hour. Vary small place. Small bar. However, if you are not in a rush, it is worth it. Service was very attentive and knowledgeable. Parking is tough, but at night, park next door. Great place! I recommend and you decide.

Lovely food, cool ambience and excellent service - this kinda sums up Lucianoโ€™s! One of the top Italian restaurants in Boise for sure. Hereโ€™s what we ordered and how we felt: Bruschetta - 5/5 Agave Penne (vegetarian) - 5/5 El Gabriel (vegetarian) - 5/5 Creme coto - 5/5 Strawberry soda Moscato white wine The complimentary bread was very tasty as well. Overall a great experience. Special thanks to our excellent host Dalia! :)

Best food in a restaurant. It's literally the best Italian food I have ever had in a restaurant. Coming from someone raised with an Italian family and heritage. Highly recommend. Very traditional Italian style service. No being rushed for your table. Prompt service. Reccomend the Penne Formaggio

Amazing food! I had the seafood fettuccine! Made to perfection! Our server was awesome too. I would name drop but it's been a week since I was there and I can't remember his name. He was a Hispanic man with tattoos. (Also mentioned he was a former bartender at Mulligans). He was very busy, but made sure that we were happy during our whole night. I will request him next time I visit.

Best Italian I tried so far in Boise! Friendly stuff and supreme food quality. Do call for reservation about an hour before visiting to avoid long crowd, the atmosphere can be a little dark when dining in in the evening.

Fantastic service. Large portions. Comfort food. The food was very tasty, but I don't think the pasta was homemade. Excellent bread. I ordered one aperol spritz and I swear they came out with a gallon of it! If you are a lightweight like me, best to stick with the wine list over the cocktail menu. A nice place to take your family for dinner.

Went to Luciano's and was not disappointed. We started off with the stuffed mushrooms and they were delicious. I had to have my favorite dish of chicken parmesan and was not disappointed. My wife had shrimp scampi and enjoyed the flavor. The portions are big and you will be bringing home doggie bags๐Ÿ‘

Everything we had here was really good. The service was real nice and helpful. The bread served at each table was real good when dipped into the oil and vinegar in the middle of the table. I had a Ceasars salad with my meal, and it was also good. The parking lot was pretty full. So, expect to look for a spot at busy times. There was also an external waiting area once the small entrance was full.

So good! The food was delicious and great lunch spot with coworkers. The side house salad was so good and the Penne Luciano was decadent and flavorful.

A nicely decorated Italian restaurant with a good amount of seating. They bring a slab of bread to enjoy with oil and balsamic vinegar. I ordered the linguini with clam sauce and the squeeze got the manicotti. My pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce - excellent. She was very happy with the manicotti. These are the lunch size dishes, plenty of food. Mine came with extra bread as well. The service is very good and Katie did a great job. This is a great place for a quiet lunch or dinner.

Great food but the restaurant is often packed with people. You have to call ahead to get a table.

Best Italian food I've ever had! The food is delicious and the portions are generous. The staff is very attentive. Service was quick and accurate. The only slight negative I found was how busy they are for the size of the restaurant. It's hard to get a table as they don't do reservations and there aren't that many tables to begin with. You can put your name on a wait list but expect the wait to be at least an hour most nights. It's worth the wait but you really need to plan ahead to eat here.

We went last Sunday for the first time. We ordered Caesar salad, minestrone soup, a small combo pizza and a small meat pizza. Washed it all down with a Kilnkerbrick Cab and a draft lager. No booze here. Everything tasted amazing and the service was stellar. Huge portions came out of the kitchen. Can't wait to go back again.

I loved everything about my experience at Luciano's. I went for lunch which was relatively empty when I showed up at opening time. I was properly served warm bread with olive oil and balsamic. I ordered the lasagna lunch special and added a Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was great. The cheese was fresh. Croutons crunchy. The lasagna was very flavorful. Served with more bread in the form of garlic toast. Was great to sop up all of the sauce at the end! All for $18 as well. Check it out, Boise!

Amazing all around! We tried a bit of everything! Some of the best stuffed mushrooms I've ever had to start us off, a glass of wine as we waited our food, tasted delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹. The main dishes were all something to order again! All four of us were 110% satisfied and will be back!

Only reason Iโ€™m giving 4 out of 5 stars is they donโ€™t take reservations and even if you call to get put on the waitlist, you have to be present to check in & we ended up waiting 45min for a table after I had called earlier. I get it, but itโ€™s hard for this pregnant lady! The food was delicious. We shared the baked Brie and Salmon Portofino with fettuccine Alfredo. It was all so amazing and the ambiance was tight and friendly. Iโ€™m glad we shared, we were stuffed.

Itโ€™s a voted top Italian restaurant in Boise I wanted to visit as it was there from quite long. It still holds its old interiors they have not changed their interiors you can see the old furniture and tables. Very busy and bustling restaurant we had a bit of delay for the service probably as all tables needed to be attended. Calories wise donโ€™t expect anything healthy itโ€™s authentic Italian food itโ€™s cheesy butter and greasy. The bread loaf which is complimentary is delicious. Overall the food leaves you very heavy. Edited : I have been to this place 2nd time. I ordered the rosemary chicken pasta without bacon they added bacon 3 times and later the pasta was bland the last time. I am not sure if the chefs takes the exceptions well or not I was highly disappointed as I really liked the dish first time came back for it and it was awful and experience I would never go back.

It was very tasty the bread you get to start with was so warm and fluffy and oil balsamic vinegar with it was amazing. Than we got baked Brie wow so good, the main course was outstanding the marina sauce was so good never had anything like it before. They have gluten free options as well!

Spinach and artichoke appetizer was phenomenal. The stuffed salmon was way better than the lasagna in my opinion. Fettuccine Alfredo is worth it!
