Checked out The Wylder for lunch and are glad we did! We are always on a search for that perfect pizza crust and totally found it today! Superb chew and flavor and their red sauce is exceptional, we ordered a side to dip our crusts in! That crust! Glorious. Our server took charge and explained the menu and mentioned their sister restaurant which reminded me that I wanted to try their sourdough English muffins. They just happened to have a couple dozen so we bought 6 to take home. Bonus. Although the meatballs aren’t on the lunch menu, we were able to order an app just the same. Very good. Check out the photos. You’ll see just how scrumptious those pies are!

The service was 12/10 ! The entire team swung by our table at different points, they were quick, efficient and friendly. The buttermilk salad was delicious, fresh ingredients, the perfect salad crunch and plenty of cheese. They magically timed warm towels delivered to our table just as we finished our first hot wing . The place was packed but the service was still on point . Fun atmosphere and all the employees really seemed happy, it was a refreshing experience.

This place rocks. It’s now my go-to when I’m on my way back to the PNW. All their food is great, but the pizza is unbelievable. Staff is always super friendly and attentive, no matter where you’re sitting or how busy it gets. Not always easy to find service as great as the food, but this place knocks it outta the park. Sister restaurant is also great for coffee and quick breakfast :)

Great friendly and quick service! I've eaten here several times for lunch, dinner, and takeout and the experience has always been great! The different pizzas are good and arrive quickly after ordering. The atmosphere is lively and energetic with close seating.

This is a great little restaurant. It's very cozy. The artisan pizzas are fantastic! Our server was great and very knowledgeable. They have a unique selection of drinks too. The pizza sizes are decent for two but what's nice is that you can order a couple or so and share family style. Lunch was a better experience because it's not as busy as the evening. The first time I was here was during dinner and it was completely packed and the wait was long and the food took a bit long too. So I recommend the lunch hours if possible.

Stopped in for lunch and this is one busy place! A delightful interior layout with a diverse menu and wonderful drinks. Sadly, had to drop a star since there’s not a single organic food offering. NOTE: business owner: the food you are using is fake and farmed and fertilized with poisons. Adding Organic food options to your menu will increase your business and help keep your customers healthy. We WILL pay for real, organic options just as we did with Vegan and Gluten-Free.

This is a fantastic lunch spot! We had a short wait for a table, but as soon as you walk in you can smell how good the food is here! Our server was friendly and attentive. The menu has some great options for lunch including appetizers, salads, sandwiches and pizzas. We ordered the mushroom toast, My Italian Godmother sandwich, the Wylder grain bowl (minus the egg, sub chicken)-this was my meal and it was delicious! We also got the margherita pizza to go. Everything was so good! The restaurant is very clean and the entire experience was very enjoyable! I can’t wait to try it out for dinner next time! I definitely recommend!!

Another great restaurant downtown. Food and service were both great. The types of pizza are all really good and many have a slight twist on a classic flavor and are quite good. The drinks are great too. There is often a wait but it's worth it.

Oh my lanta. I've been wanting to try this place for almost two years now and FINALLY I have!! I wish I hadn't waited so long, it's just so far way though from where we normally dine. But the husband and I made it a lunch spot date today and we are both so glad we did! For starters to share we ordered the every night salad and we loved it! It was a big salad, so enough to share. We ordered the honey badger pizza, it was pretty yummy. Definitely has that sweet note at the end with the honey, we enjoyed it. We both agreed it wouldn't be one we'd order every time. It was a fun one to try though. My favorite was the crispy pepperoni (drool worthy). That tomato marinara sauce they make from organic tomatoes, chefs kiss. It's so so good! My husband thought the pepperonis were a little strong but I kindly disagreed with him lol if you get anything from this review, please don't be like me and go try this place ASAP!!!

Loved the salad (Buttermilk market vegetable). Our favorite pizza was the “farm girl”. We had the “honey badger” and “margherita“ as well. We would recommend taking advantage of getting half and half on pizzas so you can try a couple! Service was good and environment was cozy, private, and trendy. Would come back! 5 star - Need to go! Would go out of way to come.

Definitely one of the best restaurants in Boise and for sure the best pizza. The cocktails are also amazing. Beautiful decor, friendly staff.

For Boise, it is great. There is however a lack of sophistication that comes through: grain bowl with no dressing aside the soft boiled egg, pizza crust (nice flavor) cooked to stiffness in an electric oven, mushroom toast slathered in a butter / heavy cream / Marsala wine? emulsion that overpowers the poor mushrooms. The zesty lemon dressing of the kale Cesar was great. It could be a celebration of good food with a little more attention to the small things that make a place great. (Review Based on 2 visits).

Wow. Stopped in Boise this weekend and one of our stops on the food tour was to try The Wylder… WOW! It was amazing. Really such a good spot. I wish we had one close to home. First things first: the food. It was fresh and very delicious. We ordered the Caesar salad and it was very different from a traditional Caesar salad but it was amazing. We opted not to include the kale… it was excellent. We ordered the wings for an appetizer. And I have to say they were my favorite part. The pizza was also very yummy. Fresh sourdough crust… I feel it love and it came out HOT… the only way to have pizza. Such good flavors. Man I definitely fell in love with this place and I will be coming back ANYTIME I’m in Boise. The service was great! Nicole was our server and she took great care of us! We felt welcomed and cared about the entire meal and not rushed out the door. We sat outside and loved that part of it because it is noisy inside. But the weather was great so we elected to sit outside and I’m so glad we did. Such a peaceful evening, coupled with the best food! I love this place!!!

Great local spot with tasty food and a classy but laid back atmosphere. The kale Caesar salad had so much flavor and was beyond delicious. The Gem State of Mind pizza was also very good, but some bites felt a bit dry with the potatoes. Overall, incredible spot that we will visit again soon to try more unique options!

Had a lovely lunch at The Wylder, my first at this restaurant. Have heard many glowing reviews from friends, so the family and I had to check it out. The entrees were solid, but the appetizers were the real star of the show. Amazing flavors and excellent plating. Perfect for a date night, work lunch, taking a friend from out of town, etc... Seriously though, you don't need an excuse, just go and enjoy the delicious food and great service!

We visited this restaurant twice on our trip because the food was so amazing and fresh. I'm gluten free and can tolerate sourdough, so the pizza was a delicious treat because it's sourdough crust. The presentation is very beautiful as well. We will definitely be returning on our next visit!

We were visiting Boise and I read some reviews about the pizza here. Made a stop in for lunch and the place was very full. The atmosphere, decor, service, location, and of course the food, were all amazing. Probably one of the best salads I've ever had. The sourdough crust was so perfect. Our server was very nice and attentive but great at checking on you from a distance and keeping drinks full. I highly recommend trying this place.

Excellent pizza! I had the honey badger +mushrooms +basil. It is a flavor different than anything else I have had. Very good! The home made ranch they have is excellent as well! The crust is great soft yet chewy with an excellent flavor. I am from out of town and love to try pizza from everywhere. The Wylder pizza is definitely worth trying!

THE best pizza I’ve ever had. The crust is magical, the sauce is on point and the pepperonis were crispy and delicious. The ricotta appetizer was to die for! A local told us we had to try it and we were NOT disappointed. You need to try it if you haven’t yet! 10/10!

Came in as a party of three and got seated right away! Super ambient atmosphere, kind servers, and delicious pizza! This time around I got the mushroom party pizza with sausage added! Super yummy! Make sure to try their ranch, it’s so good! Lots of dill in it!

The whole feel of this place is great! Service was very good, location is great and they were pretty fast with our order even though they were pretty busy. This was my husband’s first visit. I have been here before. I knew that we needed the Honey Badger pizza. The crust was not as amazing as I had remembered. Really crispy crust and the middle was a little soggy. We would have loved it to be a little airier and a little more chewy. The toppings are so delicious, and such a great combo that to me- nothing else really mattered. My husband fell in love with the mushroom toast. Possibly, one of the most delicious things ever. They have a full bar and the margaritas were delicious! Go Now and Get the mushroom toast!!! YUM

Please note this review based on single visit. We were told wait time was 25m and they were spot on. Love that! The kale salad (sized to share) was great. The meatballs were great too. Unfortunately the pizza wasn’t. The sausage in our pizza was crumbled and possibly overcooked. The crust itself could have been more tastier too. Prices reasonable. Our server Sara was great! Maybe we’ll try the pepperoni next time.

This is a really cute place with wonderful and creative food especially the pizza. The dough is very tasty and the toppings are just right - not too rich. . We had 1/2 of each pizza and my favorite was honey badger but loved the gem State of mind too with potatoes. Shared a salad and a cauliflower appetizer - all left happy. The only thing I would enhance or train is the hostess - she seemed very stressed and not very prone to being pleasant or even smiling. The rest of the staff were top notch Busy even on a Monday evening (7/3123) it was well worth the wait

My daughter and I came and ate at the Wylder on a daddy/daughter date. The server was super friendly and was helpful giving us pointers on the menu. The food came out hot and fresh (and fast) despite a completely full restaurant. I'd recommend reservations, but we were fine without them just the two of us (sharing a table with other guests was new for me, but worked out fine). Looks like they offer take-out also !

Best place in Boise I’ve been to in awhile, and we’ve lived here ten years! The service and environment of the restaurant are impeccable. The pizzas were delicious! We got the Bronco and the Gem State of Mind to try a red and white pizza, and both were incredible! We will be back soon! You won’t regret visiting this hidden gem.

A quaint restaurant with an industrial modern vibe. Great service until the bus boy dropped silverware next to me throwing food up in the air and the sound of metal hitting the cement floor. Had the sweet yam with wonderful flavors and the tomatoe soup that was delightful. Our food came out in 20 minutes considering the crowded lunch scene. Really enjoyed having lunch here for the first time.

Walking up to the building, it was very nice and clean, which I love. It is modern and very inviting. From a nice covered outdoor dining area to a spacious indoor area with nice music. As we walked in we were greeted nicely and taken to our table with out a wait. We had our drinks and order taken and it took about 15 minutes to get our food which wasn’t too bad considering the amount we ordered! Haha We had an enjoyable meal and a good time. So here’s my opinion of the food, pricing, and general visit. Pros: the environment was very nice. It’s definitely a place I would go to enjoy a nice time with friends. The waitresses were very kind, attentive, and accommodating. The building was very clean, too! I ordered some wings and pizza and they tasted great! Cons: parking is a little interesting, had to park in a dirt lot since my large truck wouldn’t fit on the side of the road comfortably (there also wasn’t much street parking to begin with). Pricing is not great. $17 for my pizza was a bit too much. It was a good pizza but not worth that much. Overall, I would probably come back if it were for a social event but I would likely not be back by my own choice mostly because of the pricing. But I am glad I came to try this place. Definitely worth coming at least once to give it a try.

Crowded upscale pizzeria. After driving around for awhile trying to find street parking, I bit the bullet and parked in a pay lot. Thankfully they had a table open and I ordered a beer and the Honey Badger pizza. It took awhile for the pizza to come out. It was good, I wouldn't rave about it... I was a little disappointed when I asked for a box and they cleared my napkin and brought out a tiny box that I had to stack the slices of leftover pizza in... making my hands all greasy and sticky. Not the best experience to leave on.
