I could you not, this place has the BEST Eggs Benedict that I have ever tasted. On top of that they have the sweetest server ever! The atmosphere is very homey with a lot of antiques available for you to look at while you wait for your food.

When we first arrived the atmosphere was calming and felt family oriented. Very comforting and nostalgic feeling. Love the Cafe esthetic and they were really clean. The shelves were dusted and the food was neat but fast. Can definitely tell that they don't mix food as well. With the egg and hash brown I didn't taste other food that could be cooked with it. Plus a warm welcome from our server Kyrsta was really charming and friendly. Keep up the amazing work and thank you for a great experience! Will definitely come back.

The Chef’s Hut is a cute place to enjoy good breakfast. I was welcomed with open arms and enjoyed my experience. I ordered a Small Plate with a Belgian Waffle (seemed like a BIG plate—good portions) and left full. Will definitely be back!

Huge amount of character packed into a small place. Great food - quantity and quality. Excellent prices. Friendly staff. 20 minute wait to be seated and 40 minutes after that before food was served. Excellent place for breakfast if you are not in a rush.

Fun little hidden away cafe. Great for groups of six or fewer, but larger groups (like ours was) may find it difficult to sit together as the cafe is small. Food and service was good. A few of our groups orders got goofed up a bit, but the service was good otherwise.

Their Biscuit, Pancake, and Breakfast Burrito were just ok, but their Chicken Fried Chicken and Pork Chops were delicious, and everything looked like huge portions. The hashbrowns were great but the Gravy and Eggs were both cold. The server was a little snarky and passive-aggressive with her comments even though we were over the top nice.

In s world a chain restaurants, cookie cutter menus and poor service it's good to know you can still find a great breakfast in a friendly atmosphere. You can get an honest breakfast here from a vast menu. The service is friendly even if their busy and you don't feel like your part of the machine for a few minutes. Lunch menu looks great too! Give this place a try, you wonder how it took you so long.

This hidden cafe tucked away in an older business park is easily missed as it’s off the road and in a weird part of town for a cafe. However, if you do happen upon this delightful home style joint I would recommend going in and trying the great food. Service was friendly and downright happy. Love to see people who love their job! I will definitely be back to try more food and will recommend to my friends.

This is truly a hidden treasure! Everytime I visit, I am welcomed with a warm smile and enthusiastic greeting. You feel like you're entering a small town country diner in the middle of the city. The food choices are extensive and reasonably priced. Whether you come for breakfast or lunch, you won't be disappointed. For breakfast, you have to try "The Works" omlette!

Very odd location but kind of cool in a business park. We had an hour wait in a Saturday at 11am but they did say once we got it that it was an unusually busy day. The Chicken fried steak was great, I would say in the top 3 I have had and the gravy was very flavorful. My wife had the eggs florentine half order and said it was great. Hot Chocolate was very good and rich. And the service was great even though they were slammed busy.

Never knew this place was here so we decided to give it a try. From the outside it looks absolutely different than from the inside. It was a 30 min wait. However, we were willing as the reviews were so good. First, bring your own coffee as you have to ask for refills. That's only if they come by for you to ask. What they failed to tell you was its a 30 min wait to be seated and an hour wait to get your food.. I used the restroom which was disgusting!! Made me wonder what the kitchen looks like. Next time I'll pass.

If you're looking for home cooking, charming decor, and a wonderful staff you have come to the right place. Found The Chef's Hut on Google looking for a good breakfast burrito and found this gem! We, my wife and I, ordered a cinnamon roll to start as it was at the top of the menu. The wife ordered the Pork chops and eggs, while I ordered the "Gutbuster". We will start with the cinnamon roll as it comes out first if ordered. It was piping hot and came with a serving of butter on top which began to melt instantly. The cinnamon roll was the perfect balance, not over sweet, the cinnamon was there but not overpowering. The glaze on top made it perfect with the melted butter! No nutts or raisins (Thank you!). Onto the main event: The "Gutbuster". It was perfect and lived up to it's name. The burrito could barely close and was at least as big as the plate ( about 12") covered in cheese. It normally comes with country gravy, but as I don't care for gravy on my burrito I gave it to my wife. The meat was fantastic and was well flavored, having ham, bacon, and sausage. The eggs tasted as if they were done "dirty", as my grandfather would say, and brought me back to childhood. Added a bit of sour cream to the mix and it was fantastic. Needless to say I did not finish. (Photos attached) The pork chops and eggs were delicious as well. The pork was moist, slightly breaded and fried. The hash browns were done to perfection along with the English muffin. The gravy that I had passed on to my wife was fantastic. Not overly spicy but very flavorful. The staff was fantastic and kept us well looked after. I cannot praise the place enough. The prices were also very reasonable. My wife and I will be back!!

Very quaint little eatery. I was looking for a breakfast all day establishment and stumbled upon this place. Ordered the stuffed French toast. Absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly and my food was served super fast (maybe 30 min total from entering to leaving). Apparently I went on a very chill day for them, as they were talking about the day before being super busy. I will definitely visit again.

I want to rate it one star just so people don't come here. It's a Boise staple but a IFYKY kinda deal. Best breakfast on the Bench. Nothing compares, worth the wait.

This place is a vibe! It was the perfect ma and pa diner! Food was amazing, recommended orange a cinnamon roll before your meal. The place was packed but the staff was super kind and quick to get us a table and our order. Will definitely be back!

One of the best places to get a great meal for breakfast or lunch. I got the Basque omelet this time, and it was fantastic as it always is. The staff is always friendly and thoughtful

The Chef’s Hut ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Located in the Franklin Business Park (164 S. Cole Rd.), The Chef’s Hut is one of Boise’s best kept secrets. It is an old fashion diner that has been around since 1974. Open Tuesday through Sunday from 7 AM to 2 PM, they are best known for their breakfasts. The Chef’s Hut is also known for their Cinnamon Rolls. These photos are from a weekday visit around 1:15 PM. They had just taken their second batch of cinnamon rolls out of the oven. You can order trays of them for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I’m a big fan of their lunches. My go to is usually the Patty Melt with fries ($9.99). If I’m eating there, I get it with fresh cut fries, but when I ordered to go, I was encouraged to get their regular fries or beer battered onion ring. I went with onion rings and a side of Fry sauce. Both were excellent! Usually the patty melt comes on a darker rye bread, which I prefer, and is grilled a bit longer. I got a Cinnamon Roll $2.99) to go too, which I had for breakfast the next morning. It was excellent! I only wish it had raisins in it. These photos are from a visit on 8/18/21. One of the things that I love about this place is that it makes you feel like you’ve stepped back into time. There’s nothing fancy about it, but it feels like someplace you always known. It’s a kind of place where the cook will make Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes for your children. It’s the only local place I know that has Spam on the menu. They make many items from scratch. They have hand battered fish and chips on Fridays. The owner is a big animal lover, who has Corgis. During warm weather, there is a dog friendly patio outside where you can dine with your four-legged family members. Other menu items I have tried and enjoyed are: The Hut Skillet Chili Burger BLT Reuben Finger Steak Basket Fish & Chips One of the items I haven’t tried but that I’ve heard a lot of great things about is their Pesto Turkey Melt. Highly Recommended!!!

This breakfast place is in a strip near the end of the parking lot. It’s a small place but was fast. The waitresses were super nice. The Benedict florentine was good and the grits were insanely hot. They were good with butter after cooling for a bit. The hash browns are pretty much perfect here. Good coffee.
