It's one of the best places to hike in Idaho!

I've ran in lots of places in almost every state, this place has a great mix of hills and flats. Well kept, clean I didn't see ANY trash! Trails that lead back to town, and Trails that lead way off into bfe. I ran 26 miles and loved every painful hour

Great park but gets busy and parking fills fast. Have been here to hike, take pics, kids soccer. The incline is a lot of fun especially with the kids.

I love this 2 1/2 mile route! When I was in Boise I would go once or twice a week. Easy for beginners and I am definitely a beginner but if you want to you can find some trails that are harder you can. I once did 8 miles.

This is hands down my favorite place to go hiking with my dogs. In the spring it is beautiful and has water the entire way up. In the fall, no water but is still beautiful. I love that there are off leash trails. It gives my huskies the play time they need and allows them to be free! I will never stop visiting here!

It is a nice and mostly peaceful place to walk. It is family friendly and pet friendly. Most pets were on a leash; however, some were not. Our young kids enjoyed the walk. It had beautiful views, slow climbs, and a very well kept path.

We hike this constellation of trails daily; what a gift to have these miles and miles of trails blocks from our backyard. That being said, usage has dramatically increased the last couple years, and with it: wear and tear on the trails, garbage, erosion and a decline in trail etiquette. It is incumbent upon us all to maintain these trails so that they can be lovingly hiked, run and biked for generations to come.

I liked walking the trails. It's a good place to get some exercise. Good variety from easy to strenuous. Mountain bike riders sharing trails were courteous.

Great hiking spot, just expect there to be lots of people and dogs on the trails. People also drive super fast so be sure to check both ways before crossing the road.

Beautiful views. Worth the short hike up to the top. You can see all of downtown, southeast and the west side of the city. The hike can be a little challenging for someone who is older, it's very steep.

This is a system of interlinked trails and there are many options for trailheads and routes. One can park at Camel's Back Park, at the end of 9th Street, or several turn-outs and lots along Sunset Peak Rd, which is the 8th Street extension up into the foothills, such as at the Foothills Learning Center. At that location there is interpretive signage and interactive displays. We did a 4-mile loop that started with a climb up Camel's Back for views of the city, then dropped down the back side and paralleled the creek and through the Grove. Then we climbed the hills above the Learning Center for some views. Popular mapping applications should help you tailor your route to your time and energy.
