Medical field is one area where incompetence and negligence is not acceptable specially if the case is of emergency due a accident. Bokaro general hospital has exhibited both in case of both my parents specially in the case of my father's death exactly one year ago on 29th October 2021. Parents are the only persons in this whole world who love and care for their children unconditionally. BGH had a mojor role in myself losing both of them specially my father who was taken to BGH casualty on 29th October 2021 at around 1PM due to a fall in the market and a resulting bleeding through nose . The pathetic management situation in BGH can be judged by the fact that there was no senior doctor available in the emergency/casualty ward and just junior/fresher contractual doctors. Anyone can think the competence and accountability of a contractual junior doctor in a govt hospital. And the BGH management didn't bother to assign a senior full time doctor at the casualty ward at 1PM afternoon time. A senior doctor was jumping between OPD & casualty ward on that day. The contractual doctor was reading books to know how to stop bleeding and the best she did was stuff my father's nose with cotton and stitch it. Then blood started filling in my father's mouth. How hard it would had been for him breathing with nose stitched and blood filling in mouth. Then he started to do vomitings of blood with cloths but then also those so called doctors didn't bother to give blood externally to him. If at all incompetent is there may be due to reservation and negligence due to govt job atleast these useless non professionals can do is raise hands on time and tell the families of serious patients to take their near and dear ones to private hospitals in Ranchi, Durgapur, Asansol or Kolkata where atleat genuine effort will be made by doctors who knows something how to deal with emergency and save lives. Till 7PM the doctors at BGH didn't say anything that my father's treatment is beyond their ability and after strongly asking should be take him elsewhere the doctors shamelessly said yes with a relief adding BGH is so under staffed and at night shift things are more worse. My father was rushed to Mission hospital, Durgapur but due profuse bleeding and no blood transfusion at BGH he died in the ambulance itself on way to Durgapur. There is option of just one star in google review thats why I have to give it but actually BGH and its incompetent and negligent doctors and management deserves a negative rating. Why I am writing this google review on 1st death anniversary of my father is because many people today check google review before taking service of a professional and a place which concerns the life and death situation of a near one, its my advice not to depend on BGH in case of emergency/ casualty and if at all due to proximity one takes a emergency case to BGH, don't trust the doctors and be vigilant about the treatment given for any actual efforts with visible result of patient getting better and out of danger otherwise it will be always wise to rush to a private hospital in nearby cities which may rob you of money but could possibly save the priceless life.

All good things written here are wrong. This is the worst hospital you can visit. Doctors are very inexperience. Most of them are in their learning phase. Infact nurses behaves like they are the gods. Worst ward management. Nurses nicely sleeps in room in night duty. You have to go and bang the doors for atleast 20mins then they will open the door. They are very impartial about this, whether it's a general ward or icu or ccu, all the wards nurses closes the doors and sleeps peacefully. Helath ministry should terminate their license or it should be made private. PS: don't expect a patient to come alive if they are admitted in ccu. That's the trend. No one is there to take care of them.

I took appointment of Dr VC Jha ỉn cardiology 2 months in advance, when i visited the hospital, he did not come that day, also i was informed that he will see only 10 patients in a day. Can you believe it? So many patients waiting in line and he will see only 10 patients in a day, why should he get full payment then, shouldn’t he be paid only 10 percent of his salary ?? Worst experience worst doctors worst hospital

Worst service provider at this crucial time. Doctors becomes business there. Didn't attend patients on time. They don't care about patients and his/her time. I dont understand why authorities didn't take care of these type of attitude of hospital authority. Kindly look into this matter. Be serious about your work and service. Patients life is not a joke.

Bokaro General Hospital in Bokaro Sector 4, Bokaro has a well-equipped clinic with all the modern equipment. The clinic has separate waiting and consultation areas which allow enough space for patients to wait conveniently at the clinic. Being a specialized Hospitals, the doctor offers a number of medical services. The clinic is operational between 00:00 - 23:59. It is open 24 *7 . There is no dearth of public modes of transport to reach the clinic from all major areas of the city.

It was a good hospital before 2014. Now it is becoming the worst hospital. Doctor are senseless ,no emotion, no intention to cure patients. But this hospital is best known for Burning cases and neuro cases. But the time is going ,now these units are also empty because no one believes in these unit doctors.

Pros - 1. Treatment for almost all type of diseases. 2. Emergency ward has always doctors available even the same for Labor ward.(24*7*365) 3. Spacious Facility with ample parking space. 4. Reasonable charges. 5. Labour room has huge space as compared to any hospital in district. Cons. 1. Zero Maintenance of Medical equipments, building, Interior, Exterior and worst part is even washrooms/bathrooms. 2. Can you imagine a hospital with filthy/dirty/broken washroom/toilet ? Yes this hospital maintain such quality even in Labor rooms and that's even the paid Sulav Souchalay is same too. I mean Yakk. 3. Hospital's doctor are arrogant and rude, they don't want to talk to patient's relative and make you feel that they are not doing their work instead they are doing charity. 4. As SAIL and central government is inclined towards privatisation, come and check how your contractor's work quality allotted as tender for hospital maintenance. 5. No Food Facilities for admitted Patients, you have to deliver your food by your own. In short, this hospital is an example of how corruption can make a highly reputed hospital in the district/state like a 3rd class hospital.

Pathetic and horrible. The well experienced and professional doctors once BGH had, have already left the hospital to join or open new hospitals. And the expertise of the remaining doctors is very questionable. In my experience, one of them performed a pre planned operation and made the situation of the patient so bad that we had to refer the patient to another hospital where we've come to know that grave mistakes were committed during the surgery. Secondly, the process related to consultation, tests, documentation, etc is so ridiculous that you'll have to make rounds of the hospital for atleast a month for just a single thing; and don't forget, the staff except a few will try its best to prolong your pain of this process. Next, even their medical equipment is not working and the quality of rooms they offer is not at all worth the price you pay if you're non BSL, which was not our case but still it was very bad. No food is provided to the patient by the hospital. There was a time when doctors from the USSR used to treat patients here and it was the best hospital in the region but currently under the administration of the corrupt and uneducated (and unprofessional) ones working here, it is simply not a place for the treatment of your loved ones.

Best hospital in the city. But the ward boys are leech, they ask for money just for holding the strecher Or wheelchair. I was asked for money twice, first by casualties ward boy and then CCU ward boy. If hospital administration is reading this then please take some action against it.

This is a government hospital. As you know in india government hospital are not upto mark but this thinking change if you visit here. Bgh is one of the best hospital in the Bokaro region. Best part of this hospital is emergency treatment with there inexpensive service. I am not giving any comparison but it's life saver for poor people.

Dr Anand is best neurosurgeon in BGH Bokaro, he saved my brother's life who met with road accident, though nurse's behaviour could be improved by enhancing their communication skills and dealing with patient's representative.

Nurse and doc behavior is worst n management is also worst here please dont risk your life in BHG. In emergency you will get admission after 4 to 8 hours. There no experienced nurses available only trainee are taking shifts and they are always confused about medicines. In night not single doc will available there are in only oncall shift according to there mood they will take call. Try get other options in emergencies.

Overall a good hospital. Toilets of General ward are very bad. Canteen is good. Behaviour of doctors and staffs are good. Sweeper wants money. Dr. A Mondol is the best doctor for plastic surgery here from my point of view. He is strict but having a good moral behaviour.

Doctor and medical staffs are helpful Need immediate cleaning after patient's chutti , but cleaning staff come night 10 pm or dealy more . Timing of visiting patient is very tight , as many people come from very remote area and due to transport problem they can't enter in time . They can't give foods to patient.

Bokaro General Hospital (BGH), the largest heal hub of the region, has suspended its out-patient department in as many as five streams of medicine, including cardiology and nephrology, to direct resources and manpower towards treating Covid patients. BGH, run by Bokaro Steel Plant, a unit of SAIL, has also altered the timings of its general OPD, according to a circular issued by the hospital. The decision to wind up the OPDs _  chest, neurology and gastroenterology are  the others _has come as rude shock to patients suffering from heart, kidney and  neurological ailments.
