The form of the ancient remains is dominated by andesite rock which local residents call watu gudig, and looking at its shape, it seems that it was previously used as a base for poles made of wood. The location is not far from Prambanan Temple, Ratu Boko Temple and Banyunibo Temple, so it is suspected that the Watu Gudig Site was built at the same time as these temples.
