The owners have taken great pains to create a very attractive and colorful restaurant. They have a very large selection of options to choose from and for the area, the food was good, although the servings were conservative. Our party had a throughly enjoyable time and definitely would recommend eating here.

The hot and spicy burrito is pretty good. Not a fan of the mole sauce or the salsa but overall excellent food and service!

I lived in Texas for 10 years and recently moved back to SW MO. Have not had the level of tastiness for Mexican food until I visited El Rodeo. Although the height of the lunch hour. I was cheerfully seated immediately and was brought chips and salsa. The lunch meal of taco and meat enchilada with beans was filling and oh so satisfying to the taste buds. My server checked in with me frequently to see if I needed anything. Which was very appreciated. Finally the bill came and I was pleasantly surprised at the “lunch time” special pricing discount. Beautiful decor and wounderful staff all around!

She had the Chicken Fajita Taco Salad; I had the Enchiladas Supreme. The food was average for a Mexican Restaurant. Cold unsalted chips, average salsa, decent sweet tea. The atmosphere, menu selection, and service brought up the overall rating a full star. We got there after 1:30 for a late lunch and the place was about half full. We were served promptly and the meals were hot. I wasn't offered a receipt on check-out and had to ask for one. The cashier wasn't as pleasant as the rest of the staff. You'll have to walk a block or so to park when the place is busy.

All I can say is really I am never disappointed here. I order the chicken fajitas every time and they are great. The chips and salsa are a great appetizer. Great flavor to the salsa. Super good , friendly service. Not too long of a wait on the food. Thank you.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in town, for sure in the top 3. Great chicken taco salad and enchiladas. I love all the decorations inside but sometimes the tables are wobbly/uneven. Service could definitely improve. One time I had to ask for sugar for my tea at least 4 times (not exaggerating, believe it or not) and you usually have to remind them on what you ordered. It's still a good place overall.

I believe this is the best Mexican restaurant in Bolivar! They have great food and I have tried their fajitas, nachos, chimichangas, burritos just to name a few meals. The people are nice. The last time I came to eat here, my fiance surprised me with having the staff sing happy birthday to me in Spanish and gave me free dessert.

We live 30 miles from Bolivar, but make a point to eat at El Rodeo anytime we are nearby. I order the "Ricky Special", which is strips of flat steak, cheese, rice and beans. They are consistently good. The service is excellent and fast. If you like Mexican food, you will love El Rodeo! Highly recommended.
