Great hostel in Rurre. Nice rooms, including private bathrooms. Friendly and helpful staff, plenty of hostel cats, and a nice bar. Good place to stay ahead of Pampas & Jungle tours

You can get a free drink for a good review which makes me sceptical of all the good reviews. Despite this it is a nice hostel and the owner is nice. Breakfast is simple but bread can be a bit dry, also needs more toilets for dorms as you wait a while

Salim is one of the greatest hosts I have ever come across. He is so generous and accommodating during your stay and is will answer any questions you have about the town, food recommendations, etc. Highly recommend. :)

Laid back people that are very helpful. The hostel is value for money, located close to the centre. Also possible to sleep in the hammocks if you arrive early in the morning.

Nice stay. Great pool! Could definitely do with floor fans to move the hot air in the rooms aeound a bit more (ceiling fans jussttt make it bareable) and it's a bit of a walk out of town

Great hostel! The owntis a really nice person. The volunteers too. There is a pool, hot shower, fan in the room, a bar, a chilling area with plenty of hammock... And the plus, i met great people there :) I loved everything there and I definitely come back to the place!

The hostal has a nice atmosphere, we stayed here for 4 nights in total. The rooms were fine, but because of the warm weather the rooms are not very isolated. The bar in the hostel had music late in the evening until 23.00 and during the day. The music you can hear very clear in the room, this makes it hard to rest well. If you want peace without sound I would not recommended this place. Further more the hostel has a nice swimming pool which is cleaned every day. They serve an easy breakfast containing bread, scrambled eggs, some fruit and coffee and tea. Overal a good place stay to stay but there is room for improvements concerning the music late in the evening.

We arrived at 3am, woke up the guy. He gave us a room and even a discount because we are only staying half a night. Beds are comfy and clean. Bathrooms are clean. All the windows are well-covered with nets. Overall happy with the accommodation. The breakfast is super small, though - enough for a 10yr old kid, so we had to go out and get extra breakfast. There are cats on the property, walking around the inner yard. They're local, not stray, so they're clean and we didn't mind them at all. But just be aware, in case you're allergic to cats or smth.

Welcoming hostel & private bedroom homestay. Small central pool, very good cocktails. There are also hammocks to chill and the place is nicely decorated, hence giving a relaxed and secluded atmosphere. Also (limited) availability for private parking. Excellent base from which to book a multi day jungle tour from the many agencies in the town.

El Curichal Hostel is a perfect place to stay in Rurrenbaque if you’re looking to stay somewhere before an Amazon tour. The host and staff are incredibly friendly, Alejandro was incredibly helpful checking us in, supporting with finding out price information for tours, and even makes delicious cocktails! The pool is perfect for social situations and to cool off from the heat!

We booked through a tour agency but when we arrived the booking had not been made and it took them a while to figure out a room for us (not ideal when you’ve been in the jungle for 4 days and you’re knackered!) The facilities are passable at best, there were only 2 toilets (and two showers) for about 10 rooms - with the toilet and shower being in the same room meaning a lot of waiting time. No windows on the rooms so it’s loud and difficult to sleep. Although they said they accepted card on booking, they then said on check out they don’t so we had to get cash out to pay for a fee. Generally not well managed and facilities are poor, so not recommend.

In the peaceful part of the town, this hostel has a social and relaxing vibe to it with friendly and helpful staff. The swimming pool and hammock area is great, and despite arriving at 5am, we were able to rest there until our rooms were ready. Highly recommend

Nice and simple hostel with a relaxed atmosphere and caring owners who helps and advise you with everything for your stay in Rurrenabaque: jungle tours, bus, places to eat erc. The pool and the hammocks are great to chill around during the day if you need to rest.

Great hostel in Rurrenabaque! It has a good sized pool which is a necessity in this heat, and a cool hammock area to chill poolside. The rooms are basic but have everything you need, comfortable beds and a ceiling fan. The staff are also all great and have been really helpful with recommendations etc.

We stayed here for three nights. We absolutely loved the place. A nice swimming pool and an even more friendly owner. The place was recently renovated and that was clearly visible. The rooms and beds were good as well. In the morning a good breakfast is served. Good wifi signal too, even for work.

The hostel El Curichal is a lovely place with the even more lovely owner Selim, who was always happy to help us with any kind of request! It was a pleasure to stay there. We enjoyed the pool and the hammock's 😊

This place is home! Everyone is so happy to help with whatever it is you may need. Food, tourism advice, medical help, etc. They took care of me while I was down with dengue fever! Truly feels like a little family here. Lovely little community chill area with multiple hammocks and a pool is an extra bonus. The friendliest hostel in Rurre!

The Hostel El Curichal welcomes everyone. The owner is such a great person and made our stay so nice. He organized the bus tickets and even helped us out with some painkillers as we had some problems with the stomach. He knows everything about the place and can give good restaurants advice. They have a big pool and a nice area with hammocks where you can relax really good. Sometimes it gets a bit loud at night but the great breakfast makes everything forget. The rooms are clean, with cold and hot showers. We recommend this place very much.

We stayed in this hostel for five nights. It has a nice large swimming pool. The WiFi is stable and has average speed. The included breakfast is simple but what can you expect for these prices. The rooms are old and don't have windows. So it can be a bit noisy.

I stayed there for 2 weeks. Nice and relaxed place, with pool and a hamock area. The host Selim is a very kind person, i had some great chats with him and he helped me out with some issues i had :)

Really friendly people here, because of the friendly staff, we managed to book our bus ticket here, get our laundry done and extend our stay. Breakfast is like a buffet style and tasty. Really relaxed vibe here. We only just arrived last night, but think this is a lovely place. We have stayed all across South America and this is now my favourite hostel. We will definitely be coming back. The staff are all so helpful!! Thank you so much. ❤️

Definately recommend! Have tried several hostels in Rurre and this was the one I keep wanting to come back to. A nice lounge area, pool, goood beds and an atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed, comfortable, at home. And above all AMAZING staff! Hasta luego!

Really cozy hostel in Rurrenbaque with great vibes. Pool and hammocks to hang out in, rooms with fans, beer in the fridge that gets cheaper the more you drink. Curichal does it all you wanna party they are down to party, you wanna chill they are max relaxin. Loved staying at Curichal

Excelent rooms, delicious breakfast. Swimming pool was so relaxing and clean and also showers. We loved friendly host, them were so glad persons with us. Definitely we'll return as soon as we can.

Nice pool, good rooms, cheap and super nice, helpful staff. Due to my work situation I came to Rurre many times and visited many different hostels and this one I liked the most by far.

Best hostel experience I’ve ever had. The owners Selim and Yariza are caring, accommodating, and go above and beyond to help you navigate Rurre. We lost our passports and they did everything they could to notify the community, talk to immigration, etc. Beyond that, the pool, drinks, rooms, ambiance are worth so much more than the price. We are so appreciative of our time there. Couldn’t recommend any other hotel/hostel
