We were served by a staff that looks like Keanu Reeves! Joke aside. The lasagne and ragu were simply delicious - it was my favourite 😍 they were generous with the sauce.

What’s not to like about this place? Friendly service, small menu - all of which is tasty - good wine. Cheap and cheerful is often a backhanded compliment but not in this case. You want a little box full of yummy pasta and a half bottle of good wine, for a decent price? Come here and you won’t be disappointed.

This was the perfect spot for a table away lunch! The tagliatelle al ragu tradizionale was fantastic. And for only €8, it was a fantastic deal. The shop is very and and only has seating for maybe 12 (mostly outside). There was also a queue when they opened right at 12, so plan to get there early if arriving at that time. I highly recommend stopping here if you're walking through town.

YUM YUM YUM YUM!! The traditional ragu is fantastic. But if you’re feeling adventurous and want to go back in time, get the ancient recipe!! Very different flavor but both are very good!! They are not shy with how much ragu they give you. Very filling. It is a small place so seating might be limited. No worries, get it take-away!! Lovely.

It's a take away restaurant with some outdoor seating. They have a short menu and maybe that's why everything we tried was incredible. The best was the Ragu, really really good and the lasagna that was the best. Piece is 8-10€/plate.

Fantastic take away! I highly recommend their traditional ragu recipe using offal cuts and chicken livers. Their ragu sandwiches are also great. Super tasty and authentic. They also have a nice selection of beers. I recommend you pick up one of their cool t shirts designed in collaboration with a local artist.

Very tasty food, good wine and nice atmosphere. I ordered Tagliatelle al Ragu Tradizionale which is very advisable to order and taste this amazing food. The red wine was very fresh and tasty. Enjoyed the place and the atmosphere so much!

Great food for a good price. Fast service, perfect for takeaway before my train. Loads of customers so expect to wait a bit. Ragu sauce was perfect!

I just had the best lasagna of my life here! It was a crispy, cheesy masterpiece. It might be a small place, but they've got big flavor. Only wish they had more spacious tables to match! 🍝🧀🍴

Food was delicious, wait staff were friendly. Place was a bit cramped but that’s also the charm of it so decided to have take away. Restaurants in Bologna are known to add a table charge of €2 per head so more value for money to take away.

I learned about this place from a video posted by an italian chef on youtube, so I tried. Coming to Bologna, you can't miss the green lasagna. Ragū is one of the places where you can get it for a price of 9 EUR. The place was small and more like a snacking spot instead of a restaurant. And the lasagna was also served in a container box, even if you dine in. What I liked about the lasagna was that the pasta sheets where rather thick so it was chewy. The portion was similar to what you can get in a restaurant and for me it was enough for dinner. One thing that can be improved, I think, is to put more cheese and bechamel sauce in the layers. I think there was a good amount of meat but with that and the chewy pasta, more sauce and cheese is needed to make them mix together more nicely. As it was, it was a bit dry.

Stunning pasta and street food dishes in an unassuming hole-in-the-wall shop. We had the ancient recipe tagliatelle, and the balanzoni in sage butter, both perfectly cooked and full of flavors. The chicken cutlets were also perfectly fried, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Service was quick and friendly. The 30 minutes we were there, many locals and tourists came in and out - amazing efficiency in the kitchen. The shop itself has got a certain character and charm too. I can wholeheartedly recommend.

The antica recipe ragu goes absolutely bonkers - up there with incredible places like Osteria Fortuna who charge at least twice as much for a portion. Terrible photos because I took it back to the hotel to eat, but great value for money, really casual little spot for takeaway or grabbing a quick bite between bars.

I bookended the start and end of my stay in Bologna with meals at Ragu. In between, I tried two highly rated restaurants; both were excellent, but guess what? Ragu was better. How's it possible that a "take-out" joint -- actually, there is limited seating -- can serve the best meals in Bologna? I don't know. Go to Ragu, and then you tell me! The staff -- who are wonderful, btw -- say it's because they make their own pasta. I loved Bologna, will return again and, when I do, will stop more than once at Ragu.

Hi, for all those people who said this was the best lasagna. I disagree. It was dry, definitely should have had more sauce. Portion size was small too. I would not recommend, we surely have better Lasagna in England. UK

Very high quality pasta and meat, experimental recipes. Service is nice and price is fair. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting bologna. Its important to understand this place is not a restaurant so do not expect the accomodations of a restaurant, they do have a few tables outside to sit down which is nice.

Excellent food. The pasta was boiled perfectly and the sauce with the meat were awesome. They speak very good english and the staff was helpful to explain the recipes. The portion is not very big, if you are very hungry you might order double.

Lovely street food versions of Bologna classics, went twice. Great value and very tasty

Went for some take out but stayed and ate at a table outside as located in nice quiet street. We had Tagliatelle al Ragu and Cotolettine and both were fresh and delicious. One of the best Tagliatelle al Ragu I had whilst in Bologna. The Cotolettine is clever, a play on the bolognese cutlet. But these are chicken wings with parmigiano cream sauce and bits of dried ham. They were so tasty! Definitely recommend.

What a great, unexpected find on our last night in Bologna!! Fast, friendly, delicious food paired with local wines. Incredible service, conversation and atmosphere too. We had such a good time, I bought a tshirt from their merch wall which I proudly wear around Melbourne. 😊

Cute terrace in a nice environment. The pasta and the chicken were amazing, really tasty and generous portions. The only “but” was the ragú panini - it was a bit dry and lacking in flavour. However, the rest of the food and drinks were fantastic!

Ok, but overpriced for what you get and considering that it is served in a paper box and it is also a very small portion. The ragu was tasty, if a little dry, but nothing special. Also no toilet available. Wine is also served in a disposable cup. High prices for a takeaway setting.

Just wonderful. Technically this is a takeout spot, but it’s got some indoor and outdoor seating. The fresh pasta is incredible. We went for the Ancient Ragu - pork belly and offal. The gent poured us a lovely wine to match. Really great “hole in the wall” spot.
