The
hotel
is
lovely.
Historic
and
beautifully
decorated.
Fantastic
location!
Right
in
the
center
of
everything.
Close
to
restaurants
(go
to
Ristorante
da
Nello
one
block
away!),
near
the
subways,
and
two
blocks
from
the
main
plaza
where
the
main
shopping
+
restaurant
area
is.
Across
from
the
hotel
is
a
nice
grocery
store.
The
service
is
great.
Everyone
at
the
hotel
is
friendly,
welcoming,
and
professional.
And
everyone
speaks
English.
The
bellmen,
the
front
desk
staff
(the
three
Andreas!),
the
breakfast
room
staff,
the
housekeepers…everyone
is
fantastic!
We
had
a
junior
Suite
with
a
large
terrace
and
it
was
beautiful.
Great
view!
Very
spacious
room
with
a
nice
bathroom
and
huge
walk
in
closet.
The
bed
was
comfortable
and
the
sitting
area
was
big.
The
breakfast
buffet
is
excellent
and
the
staff
is
fantastic,
especially
Marcella.
There
were
two
things
we
did
not
like
at
the
hotel:
(1)
they
never
had
change
at
the
front
desk/cashier,
so
it
was
very
difficult
for
us
to
get
small
bills
(5€
and
10€
notes)
for
tipping.
Not
once
during
our
week-long
stay
did
they
have
change,
which
is
extremely
annoying…especially
when
they
have
a
large
sign
that
says
cashier
on
the
front
desk.
(2)
The
room
service
is
hit
or
miss.
Sometimes
the
service
on
the
phone
is
friendly
and
other
times
it’s
rude.
And
the
tagliatelle
bolognese
is
an
embarrassment!
The
noodles
were
dry
and
sticky
(as
if
they
had
been
cooked
an
hour
prior
to
serving
and
not
tossed
in
any
sauce),
and
the
bolognese
ragu/sauce
was
nonexistent
-
it
was
just
ground/minced
beef
with
no
saucy
juices,
no
seasoning,
nothing
but
ground
beef.
Crazy!
We’d
definitely
stay
here
again
and
highly
recommend
it!
