Room 409: Clean room, uncomfortable pillows, great water pressure in the shower, expensive restaurant, convenient supermarket walking distance but we could not sleep because of the mosquitoes “zancudos “, mosquitos were buzzing all night when we mentioned it at the reception they already knew. I wonder how are they familiar with the problem and do nothing to solve it? A guy was walking around greeting guest and smiling but the smile was not enough to stay one more night!

Very good service and a real dog friendly hotel. We went to the bar with our dog and they never made us feel guilty to stay in their hotel with a dog (a lot of “dog friendly hotels“ are not really dog friendly. The que for the breakfast was long because they don’t have time slots like most hotels, which means you can sleep as long as you want but everybody else goes for their breakfast around the same time as you. We were so impressed by this hotel what we payed wasn’t much, but got very good service!! Normally something opposite can happen. We’ll come back again :)

At first arrival, we were concerned that the hotel seemed remote and too far from the airport. From that moment on, we were pleasantly surprised by every aspect. The staff could not have been better or more professional. Their English was great. Our room was spacious, modern and well equipped. The restaurant was excellent. This hotel is inexpensive and a real value.

Terrific hotel. Rooms were clean and quiet, reception was very helpful, and the restaurant downstairs was good and affordable. Location is a bit out of the way but you can enter central Bologna via bus pretty easily. 10/10

I stayed 2nights on a quick vacation trip . I'm not going to talk about the room or the breakfast or the rest of the standard items which you've already have lots of reviews about.. İ want to talk about the great staff and great management this hotel has. Based on my personal experience in those two nights i had ,Mr.Roberto and Mr.David they helped a lot to make my stay more comfortable.i would like to express my gratitude to you and your Italian hospitality.

Comfortable rooms, efficient and polote staff, rooms have modern design. Direct booking came with a free welcome drink. Bars and restaurant available within the hotel. Underground overnight parking is 10 eur. Some free overnight parking is available within 100m but you must pay for it after 8am.

The room was quite nice, and we enjoyed the breakfast variety. Rooftop seating was very nice, a mix of sun and shade with beautiful view. Laundry was ludicrously expensive but I think it's standard pricing at most hotels here. Would have been cheaper to throw away current clothes and buy 2-3x as many new clothes

Super friendly staff. They really are warm, friendly and attentive. We booked at the hotel website and got breakfast included and welcome drinks. If you are looking for a modern hotel with excellent service definitely stay here.

Very nice hotel, which seems to be redecorated recently. The rooms are very tidy and have plenty of room, so does the bathroom. A room with bathtub was available on request. The breakfast is very good, with a good selection of fruit, yoghurts, egg and various brioche/croissants with cold cuts and cheese. Cappucino was excellent, they even had oat milk. Something you don’t find a lot in Bologna.

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of days, the staff are very nice and always helpful (the most important asset of an hotel), rooms are small but it depends on your perception. Very clean instead! Very good breakfast. Be aware instead, I can tell it is not a very child friendly place, if they are targeting people with kids, they have to improve! The lady at the breakfast was pretty annoyed by the kids! Overall a good hotel!

Amazing hotel! Stayed for a long weekend and could not fault anything about our experience here! Rooms are clean, modern, quiet and very reasonably priced. The facilities of a bar, restaurant and roof terrace are fantastic. The staff make the hotel feel more of a 5 star experience than 4 stars. Super helpful, very friendly and are available for literally anything you would need to make your experience as easy as possible. They gave us a map and recommendations for what we could do in bologna and the transport links (including getting us a taxi directly to the airport rather than the public transport which we didn't realise would be cheaper). Definitely would stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Very nice and calm hotel; supportive service and reception teams; Quite good access to the old city, even by walk; Breakfast a bit monotonic, especially if someone is allergic or vegeterian/vegan. Jacuzzi on the roof is nice option, however in the evening is very hard to get plase, because id occupied by many people. It would be nice to have other option or at least the hotel might consider to extend the opening hours for it.

We spent two nights here while exploring Bologna and it was a great base for us. The taxi from the airport to hotel cost €15 - so for two people, that's cheaper than getting the monorail to the main station (it was late at night so traffic was quiet), I recommend that option. Bedrooms are spacious and modern and clean, and staff were all so friendly & helpful. The buffet breakfast is delicious and varied, they even make you a barista coffee included in the price. You can walk everywhere from here - we walked through town to the Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca & back - but the bus is nearby and easy to use, I'd recommend that in the heat of the day! The rooftop space and terrace outside were nice extra options for relaxing too.

Great hotel. Modern and quiet AC rooms. Friendly and attentive staff. Area somewhat outside the central parts of town but nevertheless easy to quickly reach with a bus, including the central station. The only real negative was that the hotel WI-FI does not allow for VPN, meaning you cannot access entertainment/media from your own country or use your work computer if it warrants a VPN.

The room was immaculate and clean. Whilst it is located away from the older parts of the city centre, there is a cycle lane next to the hotel which you can use to get closer to the city centre. The staff on the front desk were helpful and attentive. Ideal location if you are attending a conference or event at the Palazzo dei Congressi. There is breakfast on offer, however there is an Aldi just a few minutes walk nearby which you can pick up breakfast items at for cheap!

Absolutely wonderful stay. Clean and comfortable hotel room. Helpful staff at the front desk to navigate into town and the stadium. The restaurant is lovely - So much so we went back multiple times during our stay. Lovely friendly service from Maria Sara and Gianmarco - some of the best service we’ve had during our travels throughout Italy. Great options for dietary including Gluten Free. Would recommend SavHotel to stay!

Very good hotel and cheap prices. The room was perfect, simple and beautiful. Just the way I like it. The hot tub was relaxing, especially before bed. One issue tho: the gym was a little small. But its a small hotel, so cant complain much. 5 stars indeed!

This hotel looks twice as better in reality than in any of the photos here. The terrace is small but absolutely marvelous, with nice warm jacuzzi. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, which is probably little contradictory to the vibrant definition of Bologna, but if you’d like to find a place for a rest - then it would be perfect and still very close to the city center.

Was a good hotel on the outskirts of bologna.. seemed a little sketchy.. But it was fine. Hot tub was broken - temperature wise so was too cold to get in. We called the reception a few times to fix it and they did but still cold. Roof top has great views. Rooms are very large, modern and the windows open, which was great. Staff were very friendly and attentive and the breakfast included was actually very good with all the hot and cold basics covered. 9€ taxi to town, so it ain’t too bad. Parking was 10€ a night which was also good. Gym free weights were max 10kg, so like maybe eat a few more heavy and bar options but not bad.

Very nice hotel that is not in the city center but convenient for parking and to visit the area around Bologna. Of course, the city center is not that far away. The rooms are comfortable with a large bed and a very nice mattress. The breakfast selection is relatively small but the quality was good. The fruits very tasty every morning and we found everything we needed. The staff was friendly as well. The fitness room is very small, not that well equipped and the treadmill did not work properly at a higher speed.

Good clean hotel with a okay restaurant. In a lower income neighborhood (careful at night). Pretty close to the train about a 20 min walk.

Extremely pleased with this hotel, stayed two nights on the 4th floor, used the mini gym for some exercise and relaxed in the comfort of a large bed. Thank you Sav team and see you soon.

Clean room with floor (no carpet), modern and good size. Breakfast with a lot of choice. Bikes were at the disposal of hotel guests for free. Bus stop nearby. On the top floor there is a small gym (With water, disinfection material) and a roof top terrace. Would definetely recommend the hotel and come back when travelling to Bologna.

A decent hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Lobby is nice, bar decent and restaurant is fine (nothing fancy but basic and tasty food). Good value for the money. Rooms aren’t a newest ones but clean a properly maintained. Parking garage is also a nice addition. Only drawback was the bed, it wasn’t exactly comfortable. Good place for stopovers or business trips.

Wonderful experience, when arriving breakfast was closing. I asked for Lunch, but no lunch is served. She managed to find à room early for me. Thank you for this ! So I went to the room and 5 min later got a call from the reception, Catherine called. She asked if my room is fine. What a nice call, but this was not everything. She proposes a Coffee and a croissant in the Bar. What a nice proposition! I went down and got an other surprise : not only Coffee and Croissant but also bread, Butter and Marmelade was waiting for me. Thank you so much.

A very good surprise! I selected this hotel mostly because it has an underground parking, but the hotel itself was beyond expectations. Clean and modern, well furnished, it has everything for a relax stay, a short bus ride away from the center! The staff is really nice and professional, the jacuzzi on the roof is amazing and we enjoyed it very much. The parking had plenty of free spots and they are all very large, which is convenient for the car I have. We stayed only one night and didn’t have time to try the bar or the restaurant but they both look very good. If we happen to be close to Bologna again, we’ll definitely stop at SavHotel!

The area of the hotel maybe not the best but it wasn't bad and we didn't feel unsafe. We walked downtown and it was an easy walk into all the bologna action. I the rooms were nice and it was modern hotel. I would recommend as the price was right and it was a great hotel. Definitely would recommend.

Savhotel was a great hotel space. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was excellent. Toiletries provided were great. Davide, at the Reception, was incredibly helpful. The only catch is that the hotel is a 30 minute walk away from the main piazza. If you want, you can take the bus directly to the main piazza (bus 25). The bus stop is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is 15 minutes from the train station. We chose the hotel as we were going to do several day trips to nearby cities.

One of the greatest hotels I've ever stayed at. Savhotel is located in a very quite neighborhood. We discovered a lot of Asian restaurants within 5mins on foot. The service was great. Bed was comfy. Everything was clean. If I go back to Bologna someday, I'd book this hotel again without a hesitation :)

Great hotel and stay in Bologna. Bus 25 next to hotel takes you directly to city centre. Bus costs 1.5€, you can pay with coins or card, directly on the bus. System works great. Hotel is modern, has rooftop terrace with a jacuzzi. Service and breakfasts are great. I recommend.

Very good hotel 15min walk to the centre. The bfast was especially good even when the spread wasn't alot. Best bread bar ever. Lovely staff and did I mention the bread bar was really good? 😅
