    The 11:00 Tour from Georgia was critical - great introduction to the history of the museum and context for the collection. Recommended for those with an interest in medical history, medicine or anatomy or general health, or just a taste for the macabre. Not kid friendly, or for the overly-squeemish.

    Very Nice collection. It’s worth a visit if your are not afraid of seeing bodies from the inside, including diseases, malformations etc. Enjoy!

    Small collection of wax models for different parts of the body. Huge collection of real skulls. Entrance is for free.

    Creepy, definitely not for sensitive people. Nevertheless, it was extremely interesting and beautiful in its weird way.

    Been here for a Sunday laboratory activities for kids. Amazing collection of models and super professional and kind staff for the treasure hunting and ‘wax skeleton creation activity’ . Thank you!

    Go upstairs to find the museum. It's free! Unique and fascinating but extremely graphic

    Fantastic! Well worth a visit, especially for free! I got a ticket in advance but I don't think you need to :)

    The quality of the anatomical models that I happened to see in 2005 seemed quite low and not very good. However, I recently learned that the world's first anatomy lecture was held at the University of Bologna in 1300;;

    Weird, freaky, and informative. Splendid wax models from medical past. There are also some macabre specimens on display. Worth a visit if you fancy something a little alternative in Bologna.

    Small but well-stocked exhibition on human anatomy. Mostly “special” items are on display. Maybe not particularly suitable for a weak stomach or small children. In any case, we found it very interesting and would go again. Entry was also free :)

    Didactic, entertaining and not overcrowded. It is very worth visiting, especially if you intend to do tourism outside the usual. Admission is free and it contains a very interesting collection to see if only out of curiosity, even if you are not interested or have no knowledge of medical sciences.

    Impressive wax models! Worth seeing. Not huge - won’t take too long to see. Check the opening times, you might have to pre-book.

    Interesting collection for the combination of art, medicine and history. Beautiful building, an oasis of cool on days of scorching heat.

    To visit. But the employees of the university structure in general, not of the museum in particular, are incredibly rude and rude. Furthermore, there was a group of schoolchildren who were disturbing and behaving in a way that was inappropriate for the place but no one dared to say anything and let them disturb the other visitors.

    Very interesting collection, not for the queasy of the stomach, but highly informative. I some lively explanations to my daughter.

    I stopped by to visit the museum some time ago because I learned about these unusual and very original anatomical waxes. What can I say... It's worth the trip. Very welcoming and prepared staff.
