The best cappuccino I have had in Bologna, probably one of the best I've had period. Served at the perfect temperature (i.e. drinkable without waiting), no scalded milk, and nice flavor coffee. You can also buy beans here, and they will grind them for you as well. There is both indoor and outdoor seating.

This place has great coffee and the barista is very friendly. We tried some Capuccino with the Aroma Blend and Caffe alla Zabaione, which was a new experience. I do recommend giving it a try as it is something traditional here. It has an espresso shot, Marsala wine reduction and eggnog custard. It's super interesting, you eat it with a spoon to have the taste balanced. The barista was also patient to recommend some of their coffee beans, as we liked the coffee so much and we wanted to take some home. Coffee beans are between €14-28 per bag.

This is part of the dream of coming to Italy: craftsmanship, quality and passion in espresso. We tried different espresso/speciality blends and we were equally thrilled with each because of Alessandro's care and precision along with their quality ingredients & equipment. Be sure also to try the shortbread they make! They are a beautiful partnership and this is not a place to be missed!

Wonderful hospitality and amazing coffees! The owner was welcoming from the start; knowledgeable about the coffee types, really taking the time to understand our preferences and recommending - we got the Cortado and Caffe Zabaione in the end. Staff was also very friendly and helpful. Lovely coffees but made even better with the Bologna warmth - grazie!

Cristina and Alessandro are not only passionate and knowledgeable coffee lovers who will make you wonderful drinks, but such kind-hearted hosts with exemplary customer service. It’s so wonderful to see how clearly their regular customers adore them! Whether you are a speciality coffee lover looking for contemporary and complex coffees brewed expertly (espresso and various filter coffee styles), or prefer the more traditional style, you need look no further - you won’t find a better prepared coffee in Bologna! (And you must try the homemade cake!!) PS if you want tips for where to find the best cucina bolognese - ask at Aroma!

Excellent specialty coffee, which is hard to find in Italy! Had a cortado which was very tasty. Would definitely go again.

This place is a very well hidden gem! The cofee and pastries are perfect. The price is unbelievablely cheap for what you get. I asked 3 times if the price was correct, as 2 perfect espresso and 2 pastries to die for were just 5.20.... WOW!!

If I could give this place 10000 stars, I would. We loved this place so much that we’ll be making it a point to stop in Bologna for Aroma the next time we’re in Italy. Amazing drinks and the most amazing staff. On our first visit, we had the Salentino, Fior D'Agrume, a cappacino, and 2 crepes and we loved everything so much we had to come back. The salentino and fior are perfect summer iced drinks and the cappacino is one of the best I’ve had. The crepes are also perfectly balanced (the house made cream it comes with is excellent). My dad had asked for the salentino to be made with a bit less sweetness our 2nd day here and the main barista made it perfectly for him. The woman of the shop and all of the staff we encountered are the kindest, most accommodating, and warm people. We loved it here so much, just amazing service and quality of drinks and food. We bought beans in hopes of remembering them once we leave Bologna. A MUST when here.

Delicious specialty coffee coffee at this place! One of the two Specialty bars in town. Cappuccino is really creamy and full of flavours and the espresso is powerful and tasty at the same time. Crêpe and pancakes are delicious and really juicy! Nutella croissant was delicious! Also a possibility to buy specialty coffee to take away. Definitely try the Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, expensive but heavenly!! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful!! Would definitely come back here again.

True specialty coffee experience! By far this has been one of the best places I have visited that offer specialty coffee. The main barista Alexandro was so knowledgeable, and very open to experimentation while sharing lots of coffee info. While in Bologna I strongly recommend visiting the place!

Zabaione coffee was interesting experience, flat white was really good. Would be 5 starts for coffe but due to lack of kindness form baristas and apparently no toilet I this cafe, total score is 3 ⭐️

We had Fiordilatte and Zabaione. Fiordilatte was delicious and Zabaione like another reviewer mentioned not quite like a coffee drink more like a liquid dessert, sweet, eggy and thick.

Amazing place! We tried capuccino, three signature coffe desserts - Torinese, Zabaione and Fiordilatte, and of course perfect pistachcio croisants. Definitely one of my favourite spots we visited in Bologna and perfect place for my birthday breakfast :)

Coffees are tasty, and you can try italian coffee specialties / desserts here. The egg-custard espresso was really sweet, so don't take it if you don't like too sweet desserts. The medium size for them still feels small, and costs around 5€, so don't expect a "medium" size. Otherwise they are nice, and interesting to try. They don't have a toilette, so I can't give 5/5, but otherwise really nice place.

Nice little coffee shop. Small and busy. Service is slow. Their pancakes are really good. You must try the Cafe allo Zamboni here, it was delicious but super sweet!

A cute small local coffee shop. I had the homemade crepe with custard sauce and berries jam. It was so sooooo good! I highly recommend it.

Delicious espresso, go for it can't go wrong. If you are into speciality coffee this is the place. Thanks to the owner for being very friendly😊.

Great specialty coffee place. Many different options, espresso drinks, pour over or fancy coffee drinks. The coffee is very tasty, they clearly care a lot for it. Specialty whole bean coffee available to buy in the store. We purchased a bag of Gardelli coffee. We also tried their crepe, which was also delicious.

I have had coffee as good as you get here just one other time in my whole life. The service is excellent as well. We will definitely be back when are in Bologna again! Grazie

Excellent espresso, they offer a choice of beans. Espresso is not the most concentrated that you can find, but that is a matter of taste. I guess you can ask for less water if you prefer it that way.

One of my favorite coffee shops when visiting the city! The coffee was delicious and priced so well. The baristas were so helpful and kind even though I could barely communicate in Italian. Thank you for your amazing service and delicious coffee! I am already waiting for the day I can return!

This coffee shop belongs to two School of Coffee teachers of the University of Bologna, if I'm not mistaken, and they offer a selection of specially created recipes. We had a zabaglione espresso and a torinese. Fantastic both.

This is a place for the coffee connoisseur. You get to choose from a selection of four different coffee beans. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere in a quiet part of the historical center.

The espresso and macchiato were great. The pastries were fresh and tasty. (Pistachio and classic) The cappuccino double shot was not strong to my taste, maybe a mistake was made and I got a regular one.

This was alright. Mainly came for the zabaglione coffee, which was great. Of course anything with coffee mixed with whipped egg yolk, sugar and a splash of marsala can only be exceptionally good. It's more expensive than other places. Definitely going to try and make this thing at home

I drink a lot of coffee and this is one of the best cappuccinos I've ever had. Strong enough but still soft in taste. I also recommend the crepes!

The sweetest patron ever. Don't speak Italian but the lady was very willing to help and explain. Walked all the way here specifically to try the in-house speciality coffee and it didn't disappoint.
