An absolute must-visit place in Bologna. The breakfast was delicious: nourishing and so tasty. The atmosphere is friendly and it feels like home!

Love this cafe so much! They have such interesting, creative drinks with infused syrups and fresh herbs. The food is excellent as well; the brunch menu is very fairly priced considering the quality and size of portions. The decorations and plants are so cute and makes for good ambiance, plus good music is always playing. Staff is very friendly and helpful! I recommend the #nofilter avocado toast.

Nice place and ambient, tasty sandwiches and coffee but one person from the stuff was not polite. She asked us to leave because someone else was waiting for the table !!! Unbelievable ! I was speechless but then I regretted that I did not say anything but simply we just left. ( it’s not like we have stayed there for 2 hours with 1 coffee at the table, we had brunch and afterwards sweets as soon us I finish the chocolate she asked us to leave ) The client service needs a big improvement coz the place is cozy and tasty.

Lampadina is a rare spot in Bologna for those craving for a more international breakfast or brunch. The cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating, although the streets those face is highly trafficked and can get jammed: an NO2 flavoured meal is surely not on anyone’s schedule 😅. Sadly, the indoor seating area is not a/c’d and I’ve noticed both tables and chairs not thoroughly clean, so careful of where you rest your butts as you might find unpleasant gifts once back to your lodging 🤭. Moving on to the food now, I took an avocado on toast, which has a fried egg on top and strips of crunchy bacon (sorry 🐷s). The toast itself was good, not shockingly good but just plain good. Not extremely flavoured, a pinch of black pepper or chillies would have done the trick. My drink was iced coffee, which was ok too. The staff is courteous but be careful is you are traveling alone: there’s no table service, which means you have to go back and forth between counter and table for ordering, taking your order and bringing back your stuff once tucked in. In summary, Lampadina gives you a labour intensive fair breakfast or brunch in the old town of Bologna. If the weak spots I’ve highlighted were fixed, this place could get more stars, IMHO.

I had the "No big deal," it was wonderful! The juice was good, the staff was friendly and spoke English. All the food on other tables looked as good as mine. I definitely recommend eating here.

Friendly, kind and open-minded staff. Good food and beverages, with opportunities for vegan/vegetarian diet (we took coffee, cappuccino amd some croissants/vegan pastries). Prices are just a little bit high but the quality is good.

This was the recommendation of our hotel for the weekend and in my opinion as a breakfast/ brunch spot it was A1. Food portion sizes were fine and plentiful and the variety, although being a bit on the Instagram friendly side too much, were actually really nice and enjoyable. It’s a stunning looking cafe, again I reckon if you did check instagram for this place there’d be a million photos. The design is so on trend it hurts. Special mention for the hazelnut cappuccino, I still to this day have no idea why I ordered it as a strict espresso drinker but my god it was a sensation. Staff barely spoke English and because of the ordering system there you barely interact with them. I don’t think it’s overpriced at all

The place has a great bakery selection, as well as good drinks when I went (such as a lovely sorbetto and their own version of iced coffee with cardamom). However, the real highlight for me was how personal it felt, it feels very unique and it's definitely worth a stop if you're around the area

Modern styled café with a nice LGBTQ+ crowd. At the cash desk you will see a good choice of pastries, sweets and cakes. Have a look at the menu (scan the QR code) for a variety of warm dishes. The only downside are the quite expensive prices (regular bagel with Mortadella approx 10 Euro).

Great spot if you're on the go or want to take more time with your breakfast. Croissants/cornettos are terrific. Setting is relaxing inside and out - interior is especially modern and clean. Friendly and pleasant staff.

Apparently a popular place. But nothing special. Good coffee, nice desserts. As soon as I finished my coffee and the cake, was politely asked to free the table. I mean, yeah, politely, but I was still kicked out. No desire to come back

Lampandina is well worth a detour, especially for a weekend brunch... They serve a mix of Italian and American breakfast foods, in a great friendly ambiance. The place is full and there is a lively young atmosphere. The coffees are perfect, and if you want pancakes!! Just dive in.

As a German tourist, this was the best cappuccino I have ever had in my life. It was served at a temperature that was instantly drinkable and the oatmilk was delicious. Will absolutely come back if I'm in town again.

Lovely place for some yummy breakfast or brunch! We had the granola bowl and the avocado and bacon on toast, both were delicious and the coffee too is great!

Finally great coffee in Italy. No overly dark roasted beans. But fresh lighter roasted coffee - brewed with an amazing machine - resulting in a cup with great chocolate and nutty tones. Also their vegan and vegetarian options are amazing.

If I would live in Bologna I would come here almost every single day! For starters, this place is bathed in light so it always looks nice and cozy. The coffee is great and they have a lot of jummy breakfast and lunch options that are not always that easy to find in Italy! So go and maybe try on of their avocado toasts. Almost forgot the most important thing: very friendly and professional staff. Big plus.

The place is extremely nice and beautiful. All food looks really fancy and well-presented. However, the taste of the food is not proportional to the price.
