Best gelato experience during a 3-week road trip in north Italy. Completely out of the tourist sector, you need to deserve it and walk 10 min into Bologna. Original flavors, many different size and serving options (cups, 2 different waffle cornets).

Truly excellent gelato! I tried the unsalted pistachio and the gianduiotto fondente. Both were noticeably better than what you’d get at most other places. I also really loved the cone. It was perfectly thin and crispy.

Best gelato I’ve had in Italy so far. It’s said a lot but it’s true. The flavour of the Pistachio was like nothing I’ve ever tasted - imagine a world where you crack open a pistachio and it oozed cream, that’s how rich the flavour was. A must visit in Bologna!!!!

Not to be dramatic, but I think this was the best gelato I’ve ever had in my life. Impossibly creamy with an amazing selection of flavors, keep an eye out for the daily and seasonal specials! We greatly enjoyed the mascarpone with pine nuts, the salted pistachio and the Lebanese cream (orange blossom, almond and pistachios). Other highlights were the seasonal special - wild strawberries with lemon balm - and the chocolate with hazelnuts (budino).

Definitely one of the best ice cream places the city has to offer. Big fan of their café bianca and pistachio flavours.

Solid gelato. Longggggg line but it moves fast. A bit out of the way to get to so probably not worth trekking here, imo

The only Real Gelateria in Bologna! Nothing can beat their gelato, the choice of flavours and fusions are insanely amazing. And they keep modifying the menu, so there’s always something new to try.

Truly the best ice cream I've had so far🍦🤎. It really has unique taste 😋. All flavours are a must try, especially the pistachio one! Totally worth the wait, and the place inside looks cute though 😍

I went there after reading that it was one of the best place for icecream at Bologna. I took mandorla di noto. The ice cream had great texture but almost no taste of almond! Got much better elsewhere in Italy!

I've spent close to 50 days in Italy now (had gelato in 10 different cities 😋), and this is definitely one of the best I've had! I ordered the $3.20 cup and tried their "Yogurt alla Lavanda e Miele di Sulla" (yogurt base w/Lavender & Honey), and "Crema Libanese" (this has orange blossom water, chopped almonds & pistachios). Both flavors were refreshing, not overly sweet, and my only wish is I had more stomach space, or more time in Bologna to enjoy their gelato! Friendly staff and amazing gelato - well worth the walk out of the city centre!!

If you like ice cream, and my god, I like ice cream… then this place is like heaven on earth. There is sometimes a queue but it is always worth it! As the peerless Arnold Schwarzenegger famously said in the Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines… I’ll be back!

We tried both their ice cream and macarons. All of them were delicious and will leave a mark on my memory. You should definitely try especially their ice cream.

Another sublime place for gelato. Went in twice in fifteen minutes, had chocolate sorbet, pistachio and limone. Super, simply super. Chocolate was nice and bitter with a hint of citrus, the pistachio was creamy with nice chunks of nuts. The second round was mango and my personal favorite: orange sorbet. The orange has small pieces of orange peel and all kinds of interesting flavor components. The mango is by far the best mango flavor I've found in Bologna, it's like biting into an actual mango. Can't wait to go back!

Extraordinary ice cream! I haven't tried all the gelaterie in Bologna but I bet this one is top 3. Try the salted pistachio flavor. Update 07/10/2023: This is definitely the best in Bologna. Period. Don't miss the pistachio or lemon flavors. They are really good!

The best gelato I ever had in Italy! I tried the custard which was wonderfully creamy and the lemon sorbet was just perfect. My friend had pistachio and we both agree that it's the best pistachio ice-cream we've ever had. We will definitely come back here!!! 🍨

So dam good…worth going to. So one thing to know is that beside the store is their chocolate making shop, you can watch them make their chocolate. Everything in the store is top quality you can’t go wrong. I had the salted caramel with cinnamon….just a wonderful taste.

We tried two flavors of ice creams. One was pistachio. The other one some kind of chocolate. Both were very creamy, with excellent rich taste that left us speechless. So if you ever come to Bologna and you like ice cream, this is the best to have it. Thanks!

Hands down the best gelato I’ve ever had. We went 4 times during our stay in Bologna, it’s THAT good.

This is the best ice cream in Bologna in my opinion. I have lived here for nearly 5 years and have never once been disappointed. The menu is relatively small but the flavours are superb. Seasonal additions keep things fresh and the quality is always of the highest order. Queues can be quite long at peak times but this is to be expected!

This gelato place unquestionably secures a spot in my top 3 Bologna gelato destinations. With a great variety of flavors, the taste experience is truly exceptional. I highly recommend paying a visit to this place if you're in town. Personally, my favorite flavors are the pistachio and yogurt. The pistachio flavor is rich and delightful, while the yogurt offers a refreshing and tangy twist.

One of the best ice creams I have ever eaten. Salty pistachio and hazelnuts were awesome. I could recommend it to everyone and I hope to be back there someday

Delicious ice creams, I think that these are the best in Bologna. The price is very decent and the quality - perfect! Salt Pistachio is just perfect.

Queued about 20 minutes but worth every minute. Menu only in Italian so make sure you load up google translate (however the servers do speak English) I look forward to coming back already!

Incredibly delicious ice cream, especially the Cioccolato del Santo. We paid 3€ for a cup with two scoops, very cheap for how good it is. They also make the ice cream right behind the counter.

We walked all the way to this part of the city just to try their ice cream and it was definitely worth it! I saved this place to my foodie list because of the well known Turkish gourmet Vedat Milor’s recommendation and he was spot on for sure! It’s the best Italian type ice cream I’ve ever tasted!

I got there and i was pleased by the interior design and also the diversity of choices. The staff there were friendly and i choosed the monthly choice and i asked her to make my combination 😄 because I don't know better than her. It was so tasty and the creme(it was something with Lebanese..) too and cost only 2,7€ i would definitely be back there.

Best gelato in Bologna. Beautiful shop, delicious gelato and lovely service. We had crema delle nonne and pistacchio for gelato and we also tried the maritozzo with panna. Everything was incredible!

I have had what i thought was the best pistaccioo gelato in florence, however this pistaccio salted ice cream was the best i can ever dream of having. Everything about this ice cream was Sublime, the texture, the little bits of pistaccio, the organic flavor, and the saltiness which just brings out the richness of the nut ever more, making it the best gelato ever! ❤️Great customer service 👌
