Absolutely outstanding experience...a day very well spent! When we stopped in Maranello, they were very patient with my wife and I, as I wanted to meet some old friends while we were there. One of those friends has since passed away and I am so grateful that they were flexible! They accommodated our every wish, Andrea the tour guide was very entertaining and informative, and the lunch was exquisite! Will definitely take this tour again once back in Italy! I HIGHLY recommend it!

This was a fantastic tour and an amazing value! Our tour guide, Max, was wonderful and spoke perfect English. He knew the area and explained why the Bologna area is so important to Italian food and the Italian economy. The visits to the parmigiano, prosciutto and balsamic vinegar factories were informative and each one ends with a little tasting as well as an opportunity to purchase the foods directly from the makers. The small tour group was the perfect atmosphere to meet new people and to be able to ask questions along the way. The stop at Ferrari was fun and informative as well. You are set free to explore the museum and take as many pictures as you want along the way and if you want to test drive a Ferrari there is time for that as well for an extra cost paid for when you arrive at the “pit lane” store. After the museum you are taken to a restaurant with great service and incredible food. The 6 course meal includes wine and they are happy to accommodate any food allergies or vegetarians. And make sure to look out the window along the drive and take in the Italian countryside views. This is an all day tour from about 8 in the morning until 5 in the evening and it is packed with sights and flavors. Absolutely a wonderful value with friendly service.

Amazing experience, the tour was well organized and not too long. During the tour you can taste many typical Emilian products enjoying a great buffet at the end of the visit. People are lovely. Andrea our guide was super efficient, he's very prepared about all the italian highlights and he gave us very good tips. Ferrari museum is very interesting. I would suggest this tour to all those who are interested in motos and food.

We did the Bologna Food tour, and what a great time we had! Our tour guide was knowledgeable and very lovely, the food was amazing, I especially loved the stop at the Vecchia Malga deli, the smell of the place was heavenly and the meats and cheeses and wines were delicious. There were 6 of us who did the tour together and each one of us loved it. Highly recommend, it's a great way to appreciate the history and food culture of Bologna, which are tightly interwoven.

Wow!! My tour with Amazing Italy will truly be an experience never to forget! I couldn’t have been more thrilled and appreciative of our guide’s passion for sharing one the best of what Emilia Romagna has to offer for the traveler. He truly went above and beyond in elevating the experience! Thank you again to the guide, the driver, Olga, and team for really making this a special one. Will never forget!

We did the Food and Ferrari tour and it was the highlight of our vacation! We loved our tour guide and our driver, both who made the experience so unique and enjoyable. All the food we tried was SO!!! incredible. My husband and I loved the balsamic vinegar tour the most, but really everything was WOW. The Ferrari museum was just dang cool, and we felt no rush at all from our tour guides to move through. My husband even did the simulator and had a blast. Finally, we ended with the lunch. La Casa Blanca, a family restaurant that truly felt authentic. We went on a Sunday and it was packed with families. We tried some incredible foods and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. Was the experience worth it? YES! We could turn our brains off and just enjoy the day. Shout out to our awesome tour guide, I hope you get to spend a great day with him!!

What a fantastic day out!!! I am not keen on the idea of tour groups but my wife convinced me to give this one a go after reading all the great reviews (and mention 'small group'). It exceeded my expectations. The guide, Max and driver Massimo were absolutely fantastic and the content of the tour interesting, fun and really well balanced between drive and time at each stop with plenty of excellent food, wine (and not doing the driving for a change) and balsamic. Going to small family run business was perfect. Even our own Max (13 yrs old) had a great day and enjoyed himself - particularly at the fabulous lunch where he got to know a few of the other children on the tour. I echo another persons feedback when they said that the only thing that would have been nice was to continue on into the evening getting to know some of the other people we met on the tour. Just to note also - excellent and clean bus, well needed AC and very safe driving from Massimo. Highly recommend the tour and make sure you keep some money set aside for taking a Ferrari for a test drive!!! I took the California as it has the small jump seat in the back so young Max could join me for an AMAZING Experience.

We went on the food and Ferrari tour and we had a great time. Our guide Andrea was very nice. He had a lot of knowledge about all the producers we visited and about the countryside. The lunch was amazing. When you visit Bologna do not forget to book a tour with Amazing Italy. You will have a great time

My wife and I had the best time on the Food and Ferrari Tour. Andrea our guide was knowledgeable, funny and personable. The places we visited were interesting and the flavours amazing. My wife is gluten intolerant and even going to a restaurant that makes its own pasta they managed to ensure that she had a great meal to. Can't say enough nice things. Great tour and great value for money.

Was an amazing tour and such a lovely day. Our tour guide andrea was informative and fun. We got to go inside the factory while they were making parmigiana reggiano cheese as well as learn about balsamic vinegar and prosciutto. Then we got to taste it all which was the best part of course! And then the Ferrari museum where we got the choice to drive one, which we would highly recommend if you have the extra money. Then a beautiful 6 course lunch, needless to say we were happy and stuffed by the end. Amazing tour!

What a great company! All tours were well planned out with knowledgeable guides and excellent transfers. We used Amazing Italy for three full day tours outside of Bologna and transfers. All tour guides and drivers are were great and everyone was prompt and professional. Loved Nathalie for Bologna and Ersie. Ask for Ersie if you are doing the food tour in Modena. She has an encyclopedic knowledge of the food and is amazing!

You are currently checking out the Food and Ferrari tour offered by Amazing Italy Tours. If you’re anything like me, this means you enjoy Italian food but probably don’t really appreciate how it’s made, and you love seeing Ferraris but rarely get the chance to do so. Join the club. I was in your shoes several months ago. I visited and revisited the web page before finally deciding to sign up for our day in Emilia-Romagna where Andrea, our tour guide, and Riccardo, our driver showed us the region they love and know so well. With them, we saw and learned more about the region, its people, and their commitment to excellence in producing the food and cars that are sought all over the world. All of our interactions with the Amazing Italy Tours team were friendly, professional, and prompt. Diana and Olga answered all of our questions pre-tour. Andrea and Riccardo reserved the day for us, picked us up from our hotel and whisked us into the countryside. We began our day visiting a family farm that produces Parmigiano Reggiano, followed by a tour of a prosciutto factory. Each stop included generous tasting portions. From there, we went to the famous Ferrari Museum in Maranello. We have visited many auto museums in the past, but nothing compares to this. You’ll see modern and vintage Ferraris elegantly displayed. We were given time to view the museum at our own pace, and when we were done, we went to a local restaurant for an excellent meal. To cap off the day, we visited a multi-generational family owned Balsamic Vinegar production facility and got to taste (and purchase if so desired) authentic Balsamic, which is so good! A quick aside: whether you’re going to Italy on a tour that stops at the familiar cities of Rome, Florence, and Venice—all amazing cities not to be missed—or arranging your own itinerary, do yourself a favor and set aside a few extra days to go to Bologna, the launching point for this tour. Getting to Bologna from any of those cities is easy to do using Italy’s excellent railway network. I had no idea how much I would enjoy Bologna itself and now look forward to returning there some day. And while you are seeing Bologna, go the extra mile and go on the Food and Ferrari tour. If you are debating whether or not to take the tour…do it. You will be so happy you did. We had high expectations for our tour, and Amazing Italy Tours somehow managed to surpass them. It was the highlight of our trip!
