An overpriced and under delivering homestay. Had gone on someone’s recommendation but was totally disappointed. The upstairs common sitting room had a dump of brooms and dirty linen. The room we stayed in had cobwebs, we had to call especially to get our room cleaned and still the bathroom was not cleaned. Had a balcony but with view into the neighbors houses and very dirty. Totally NOT worth. Very very disappointed. The path to the rooms from the parking lot is a narrow alley with obstacles like clothes drying racks and brooms. When we asked the staff on how to operate the tv setup we were told they didn’t know because ‘no one comes here to watch tv’!! Breakfast is not available till almost 9 as staff not available and even then lots of confusion. The home stay is situated in a narrow and somewhat stinky alley so access with a car is challenging. Never again. Wifi worked. AC worked.

Amoli Cafe is an excellent cafe with an amazing ambience. They serve really great food and coffee. Bacon Wrapped prawns are a must try for sea food lovers.

Located a few metres away from shonajhuri haat in shantiniketan. This is a boutique cafe with a fine dining experience. We liked the food, the price is not too low and also not very high. It charges almost 3500 for 4 people for a full course meal. We had coffee of which milk coffee was good but cappuccino was not up to the mark. We had Khao suey which was a bit blunt in taste but the pizza tasted excellent with premium quality cheese and chicken as well as mushroom. We also had blueberry cheesecake which came beautifully decorated and tasted good, was more of a blueberry pudding than a cheesecake. The ambience is very soothing and everything is very clean and well maintained. They also have a boutique with the cafe which is a luxury boutique. Overall a good experience.

Amoli cafe is one full of warmth, intricate designs, incredible hosts, courteous staffs and a menu to die for! Nestled in the streets of Santiniketan, the cafe serves continental and pan-Asian items. Service is top notch and so is the quality of the food. Being a sea food lover I always try prawn/shrimp dishes - the bacon wrapped prawn served here was the best I ever had and will definitely have it again in my next visit. Another was the blueberry cheesecake that deserves a special mention!

I visited Amoli last week. However some one recommended it as a premium hotel cum cafe. It is located near Ratanpally in a narrow by lane, parking not available, entrance is bad, food item has very limited option and highly overpriced, quantity too was not worth the money, ambience is fine but the out side area is not good, you have to park your car far from hotel and take a walk by a narrow lane. Menu card made on hand made papers written nicely by some one is the only difference. Overall I feel this cafe a highly overpriced. They kept the price similar to a 4star hotel, but unfortunately the quality and quantity is not enough. e.g. they are charging 160 rs for one small slice of a cake 260 rs for a glass of juice 580 for a medium pizza but taste wise nothing special.

Situated far-away from the hub in a remote location, a beautiful rustic structure stood by the descendants of Tagore. If you’re in Shantiniketan, a place known for it’s culture and art you cannot miss visiting this place with soothing ambience and well mannered staffs. The aesthetics you will fall for and the food you’ll snack in will grab your heart. With minimal rates. We ordered two cold coffees with icecream and one Watermelon Ginger mint costed us only Rs. 650/- approx.

People say that you should give art a home, Someone said Let's make the art my home and then we got the chance to spectate a spectacle. Only your eyes can describe the experience and the ideology behind creating a masterpiece. Must visit.

I recently dined at Amoli Restaurant in Santiniketan. Amoli Restaurant is nestled in the quieter interiors of Santiniketan, offering a unique dining experience away from the bustling city. Although the location might be slightly off the beaten path, it still encapsulates the essence of Santiniketan. Upon arrival, there was a bit of a wait for a table, which is not uncommon for popular restaurants. We ordered a variety of dishes, including coffee, blueberry cheesecake, pizza, chicken salad, and khawo suye. The food impressed us with its quality and flavors. Each dish was delectable, except for the khawo suye, which turned out to be spicier than expected, and I wished it had been milder. The restaurant's ambiance contributed to an enjoyable dining experience, with a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. However, it's worth noting that the prices for the dishes are on the higher side. One of the standout aspects of our visit was the polite and welcoming behavior of the owner, Rinku Di. Her hospitality added a personal touch to our dining experience. In summary, Amoli Restaurant in Santiniketan offers a delightful culinary journey with its quality food and pleasant ambiance. While the prices may be a bit steep, the warm hospitality from Rinku Di makes it a noteworthy dining destination in Santiniketan.
