This is the best homestay of shantiniketan. We will never forget those days we spent here. The owner Mr. Chakroborty (we call him kaku) is very kind and friendly person. He took care of us like his own family. When we return home, kakima gave Payes for our daughter. Even after returning home, he wanted to know about us. Such a lovely person. Whatever I say about them, very little will be said. We never forget him and his family. Now let's talk about food. The dining area is very clean. Whatever we wanted to eat, they served. Every meal is fresh and delicious. Krisha di and Khudirum are too good person and helpful. Finally this place is very eco friendly. A suitable home to live in the middle of nature. The bright sun rays of the morning and the soft moon of the night, they fascinated me. Rooms are very clean and hygienic. Whenever you go Shantiniketan, visit here once. I promise not to be disappointed.

It was a one day trip to Santiniketan. Reached there in the morning at 8am. Saikat, the property in charge was very helpful. He sent Toto to station to pick us. He and the other staffs were very warm and took utmost care. Food was too good. Very tasty and the staffs served us with warmth. Location was nice. Very peaceful and serene. This homestay is close to khoai haat. Will definitely visit again. Best wishes.

It was homely feeling.Stuff were truly nice.We were three girls and we felt protective. I will recommend to stay there and take the essence of nature's beauty.

We have just spent this weekend in this place and already have started missing the environment.. Firstly the cooperation I had got from Saikat babu was very helpful for taking our decision to stay in this homestay. Then after going there starting from the warm welcome from the every staff till the end of our trip was splendid. It is fully greenery outside, very near from Viswabharati campus, sonajhuri haat & Prantik railway station. The rooms are very much spacious with all the amenities in a very reasonable rate. We are missing the dining hall and the food. There was a totally homely environment while we used to take our lunch & dinner. Parameshda, Asishda & Krishnadi were always there and we had a conversation like an extended family. The taste of the food was purely homely so we had never had an urge to go any resturant. Last but not the least Uncle & Aunty the owner of this homestay treated us like their daughter and in this age also always coming to us to know if we need anything. The gesture shown by all the staffs made us so much emotional. Apart from the beauty of Shantiniketan staying in the Chaiti Eco-homestay really added the true meaning of the word 'Shantiniketan'. Its really a home away from home. Waiting to visit again.. A great applause for the team effort for this homestay..

Very nice and clean rooms. I think it is one of the best budget friendly family homestay. I stayed here 3 days with my family. Rooms are very spacious and well maintained. 3 adults can easily accommodate in one room. The food is also very good. Staff's are very nice. Love to stay here again 🙂

Clean and safe establishment. The bathrooms where very clean and the people in charge were really nice. Only con is if you want food from Chaiti Eco Homestay, you need to place the order well in advance. The double bed rooms are big enough for 3 people to stay. There's also a big room for 4-5 people in the establishment which you can go for if you're going in a big group. The homestay can also help you out with pick up from the railway station at fair rates. A big thanks to the owner for such good service.

I visited this place on 28th May. Service and hospitality is excellent. It is a home away home feeling. Cooking by Paramesh is very homely and Toton and sourav also cooperated us during our stay. Please do visit this place.

Could not wait to write a review for this wonderful establishment. Just returned yesterday and still in the phase of the cozy and wonderfully serene and calm Chaiti. The warm and gentle welcome by the owner, the hospitality of the staff and definitely the professionalism of the manager, who without being there executed every detail so meticulously. The airiness and freshness of the dormitory we had chosen was remarkable. Well they have a huge list of do' s and don'ts and now I can vouch for them and yes they are very much essential. My only observation was that it is not a facility, that a team with pet can opt for, well there are other homestays who might. I can speak for our team who had visited for a two day stay and it was completely hassle free. Hoping to be back soon.

The homestay is right at the road, made it easy for a solo traveller to navigate. The services starting from booking till the check out was very smooth.

Awesome room provided on the first floor roadside view and service by the staffs were excellent. We had veg in-house dinner @ Rs130 thali. They served hot rice with homemade ghee and other dishes. Owner Mr. Kamal personally met us and enquired about our comfort and their service. Sonajhuri haat and forest were nearby and even deer park.

Pretty place, nice location, very close to Khoai. The rooms were nice and spacious. Room number 1 on the ground floor could have been a bit more spacious, but it's alright. Coming to the food - disappointing. The cooks often serve cold or undercooked meals. We had ordered a mutton thali and it was inedible, to be honest, but we were charged 300 rupees for this. My mother had ordered coffee, and it was served cold. The person in charge of the kitchen is rude and uncooperative. He hurries you on like crazy and does not let you eat in peace. Overall, not a bad experience, if you count the food out.

This is really a very beautiful place to spend some time with yourself. All the places are nearby to this homestay and the communications is also very good. The food is also very good and tasty at this homestay and moreover the food is totally like home made so there is no chance to get ill by having food at this home stay. All the staffs are very good and polite. I really enjoyed my holiday at Chaiti Eco homestay.

We are overwhelmed by the hospitality of chaiti homestay, Best place to send ur parents for a peaceful retreat. U can take a splendid Toto ride around shantiniketan with Mr. Samir saha who is a very knowledgeable and honest trustworthy and very well spoken person.

It was a home away home. The rooms were spacious, and clean with various seating arrangements. Room have AC and geyser facilities. The home made food is delicious 😋, my daughter who could not eat little spice food, even she eat these food more than she normally takes. The owner is an very caring person, all the time he queries about our comfort. Location is little out of city, but with a calm greenery area. The atmosphere is no doubt the best. They will arrange TOTO (on contract) for local sight seeing and pickup and drop. You will not get outside shops. Pls carry your toiletry items like soap, toothpaste, oil, shampoo, detergent powder with you.

The Location, Facilities,Food, Hospitality everything was heart warming 😍 Paramesh(The Cook) cooked some dilicious food for us,Ashis Da who looked after everything for us. Saikat babu have also arranged a Toto for us for sightseeing. Ujjal Da(Toto Driver) was so sweet and he was guiding us throughout the tour. It was an amazing experience staying at Chaiti eco homestay! The room was very spacious, and it felt very very very homely. The area was serene and the food arrangements were excellent! All the people who received us were amazing! If I am going to Shantiniketan again, I am definitely staying there. :)

An okay setup for a night's stay. The place is well located, but the room we were given was tight for three heads, though we had specifically sought a room for three. Secure decent place otherwise. Food is given on demand, which is home cooked

One of the best homestay in shantiniketan. Visited this October with my family. Location wise good. Behaviour of the owner is awesome. Homely cooked food, beautiful garden area, neat and clean rooms everything in this homestay you will fall in love. Its a home away from home. They arranged us e-rickshaw for all the sightseeing. Looking forward to stay at this place again.

Hotel room and all amenities are excellent. Atmosphere are also very good. All staffs are very decent and helpful. They cooperate with us through out the day. The owner of the homestay are very humble person. At first we can't operate the ac remote in proper way. He came to our room at night and handle it tactfully. Now come to the main point..... The food was very cheap according to cost. Taste was not so good. It couldn't satisfy our tongue. Its taste feels like roadside spice hotels food.

My stay was curated beyond my expectations. The best of all is the shades of green in and around the venue that just enchants your heart, indeed mesmerizing! The staff is super helpful and would go that extra mile to make you comfortable. Most importantly to highlight about food after eating here I felt Bonolokhi and Amar kuti is unnecessarily hyped, it is not even a comparison when it comes to pure and freshly prepared home made food of Chaiti Eco Homestay. The last but not the least the rooms are fantastic and so well sanitised and highly maintained. Trust me I can just go endless. All would like to say now is that it is just marvelous and a kudos setup by Mr. Kamal Chakraborty and his wife. More love to you both, keep roaring.

Chaity Homestay is a truly homely place to stay in, the ambience is excellent & the hospitality & the food really worth a praise. Local sightseeing facility is also arranged for convenience. We enjoy our stay very much.

The experience was indeed very nice. Totally a homely atmosphere. Food was good . The owner and all the staffs were very polite , cooperative and helpful. They tried to assist us at the best of their capacity. The toto driver Subir Saha was very nice. We enjoyed the rides with him. Hope to visit someday again.

They both are so sweet and humble that one is bound to melt down and admire them. The stay is no less than a magical palace, so much effort poured into maintaining this huge mansion. The supporting staffs are really nice and helpful. Rooms are significantly spacious and super clean. Food is indeed ravishing. This place is truly magical and can't emphasis more on HOME AWAY HOME.
