This is a beautiful railway station. Architecture of the railway station is good. Its code is BHP.

The best to us as locals but nowadays we are not getting any reservation due to the extreme load by the tourists. That's the sad part ☺ Edit: The new look is so mesmerizing that you will fall in love with this station. After getting in the station you will still get a vibe of the Tagore's cultural span over the years. I am posting some of the images here with. PS: A SBI atm is also attached with the station.

The model station is superbly renovated now. All passenge amenities are updated. Decorated with art and artifacts. Parking area is also renovated and widen. Only con is no elevator for both side passengers. Ramp of over-bridge is too long.

Just like any other railway station, all the necessaru ammenities are present here. But I like the government restaurant here for usual tourists/people. We had our breakfast here while returning from Bolpur to Bardhawan. Bolpur/Shantinikentan station is well maintained station. The frquency of the train is OK. This station is used mostly for reserved train I guess. Local trains are different from the one we can see in Howrah/Shealdah ER line. The Bolpur station is painted and decorated with all the specialities of bolpur. The mosiac decoration also looks superb. If you are visiting Bolpur for Shantiniketan trip, take the gate of Platform 1 for auto/toto. You can find Gitanjali rail museum just outside the Platform No.1.

Bolpur Shantiniketan is one of the busiest railway station of West Bengal state because of Shantiniketan. The birth place of Rabindranath Tagore. Its also famous for the Vishwa Bharati Central University.

A small but well maintained railway station. It has 3 platform and the escalator is a very helpful addition for the bridge. The station also has some beautiful murals.

Well maintained, very clean and improves day by day.... But authority should post a guard in front of elevator, because many people don't know how to use, maintain balance, which creates chaos.... the recent over bridge is very efficient.

Bolpur Shantiniketan is a famous town in all Over India. This station is very well maintain and clean. Various facility is also available here. And this station is located in the middle of Hawrah - Rampurhat to siliguri trainline

Very well maintained and well decorated station. Every single day, crowd from Kolkata and suburbs come to bolpur to visit the iconic places. The enquiry of this station is not so helpful at all. Workers in the ticket counter are good, but they need to be a little faster. Outside platform number 1, there is auto and toto stand. Do bargain with them before fixing the driver for your sightseeing.

A fairly clean and decent railway station in West Bengal which serves as one of the main entry points for visiting the world famous town of Shanti Niketan which was established as a novel seat of learning by the Nobel prize winning poet and writer Shri Rabindra Nath Tagore.

It's the most important connecting point for bolpur and the nearby people of Bolpur. We are getting maximum long distance trains from here. It is now in under-construction for upgrade the facilities.....

Clean and well maintained. It has a paid AC waiting room (10₹ per adult per hour), Escalator service to cross the overbridge and a restaurant. It's open and windy and one can await trains sitting outside. It is equipped with outlets for drinking water as well.

Well maintained clean station. The elevator is also working. Jano aahar is serving food inside the station premises.

Well decorated station ..escalator facility is available..there is also non ac lounge and ac VIP lounge...one stores is available where you can get some product for gift purpose and one snacks shops is also available where you can get some types of drinks , cakes and chips etc ...you can get toto from outside staion for travelling there. .

Well maintained railway station having a artistic beauty. Very good and cleaned railway station. Most of the express train has stopage here. There is a railway canteen inside the station. There are three platforms in these station. There is a railway museum namely Geetanjali Railway museum situated just opposite to railway station.

Bolpur Shantniketan is a mid-sized town with ample greenery everywhere. It has Bishwa Bharati University estd by the grreat Gurudev Ravindranath Tagore.

The station is excellent.. I just love it.. there are all the facilities that a good station need... And the most beautiful thing that impressed me is the decoration... I mean the station looks very satisfying and beautiful.. the station decorate with many varieties of trees and drawing.. you can see the hand made drawing everywhere.. that is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.. 💗

It’s small but it serves the purpose. Local Transport is available just outside. There is a ticket counter there too. If you’ve forgotten to buy presents for family and friends back home, a small at the station sells gifts and souvenirs like local handicrafts and earrings. The pricing is reasonable.

Very nicely decorated neat and clean railway station. There are escalators and slopes which help everyone, specially the elderly persons to cross the railway lines comfortably. The waiting rooms are also nice. There is a museum just opposite the station building which can also be visited.

Bolpur station is one of the famous n heritage station of west bengal. Station is well designed with bengali architecture design draw in station's wall. Escalator benifit is there . Bolpur Shantiniketan is one of the beautiful station premises in West Bengal & Eastern Railway. The station has seen steam and Diesel hauled trains and recently has been electrified. There are 3 platforms and it connects to Howrah, Sealdah, Malda, Rampurhat, Siliguri, Guwahati, and Agartala among others. The platforms are accessible using a foot over bridge (FOB) and escalators. There is a Toto (battery rickshaw) stand outside the station for passengers travelling to Shantiniketan, Sriniketan, Sonajhuri, Viswa Bharati University, Ratan Pally, Purbo Pally etc. There are eateries and ATM a small walk from the station.

Station is good and have escalator as well. But expecting a good restaurant or food court which is currently missing. Jan Ahar is not upto the mark.
