Another beautiful park teaming with lot of wild life. Ideal for dog-walking. There is also a calm shallow river flowing through this park so if you are out with your dog, it can cool it self down a bit in hot summer days. Be aware of Giant Hogweed growing alongside the river on many places.

Lovely walk by the river or other paths splitting off more into the woods and along ponds so there is a little change of scenery if you want to go on a bit of a different walk. Seen wild deer and a pheasant.

It would be a nice walk, except for plonkers with 4/5 dogs, all off the lead causing problems. It’s sadly a place where really lazy people drive to, open the boot of their cars in the car park , then let the dogs run wild, pooing every where, which these lazy slobs often on their phones pretend not to notice β€œ the steaming piles” all over the footpaths. If you intend to walk your dog, you will always get someone too lazy to hold their dogs on a lead that then lets their mutts come charging at your dog, that’s under control on a lead. β€œIt’s ok they just wanna play-β€œ whilst barking and trying to nip at your dog.

Great place no matter what season. Our dog loves going on Seven Acres. Good parking. Bins dotted around for rubbish & dog poo bags

Excellent countryside to visit for a nice long, calming walk this place has lots to offer... especially when the sun is shining and the people and dogs start to swim in the rivers and go for family walks with their dogs. There is a horse show once a month on one side of the country park and the other side is a beautiful community flower garden managed & maintained by the elderly residents, a community center, and a children's park, all connected in a mass of Seven Acres with a magnificent river running throughout our towns river networks, and if your lucky you might see a family of Deer's grazing or Duck's swimming on the waterfall...

A beautiful escape from urban life nestled between two main roads. Lots of birds including dippers wagtails Kingfishers and songbirds. Lots of other wildlife including deer, foxes, rabbits and butterflies.

Good walk with George the dog started at Leverhulme park end and walked all the way through to the car park on thickettford but a bit smelly near car park didn't see much wildlife though. Also I didn't see any toilets along the way if you're up for along walk you can continue afterward up to moss bank park about 2 more miles along Crompton way there's plenty of shops on the way and then onto doffcocker lodges. You could go on bike but there are some sharp corners with drops which lead to the river so be on your guard.

Nice place has Bradshaw river running through the park. Plenty of dog walkers there. They have some horse show on some weekends. No play area (swings ect) for kids.

Please note there is no access to Seven Acres via Crompton Vale, only a muddy dodgy overgrown path. Putting in search for "car park Seven acres country park" will take you to a good tarmacadam car park on Thicketford Road.

Nice paths for dog walking, such a shame about the litter and dog waste everywhere. Got to be really careful where you walk.

The one star rating isn't for the park, it's for Google's tracking, I've not been there.

Enjoyable local walk. Nothing special, pleasant. Not as good as the close Moses Gate, but quieter.

We actually don't live in Bolton now but had to see someone. So the best fish and chips are from chaes on Tongemoor rd. We got our fish and chips and sat in the car ate them on seven acres then took our dog for a walk before heading back to Wigan.

Nice walk along the river. Plenty of birds to see. Parts of the path near the industrial estate could do with a litter pickup. Free parking a bonus.
