Pathetic. I’ve tested this and if you order via the drive through they give you a pathetic amount of fries knowing you won’t notice until you get home. Funnily enough you get a good portion when eating in. Check it every time now and every time they get the fries handed back to be filled up. I asked a friend who works at a different Mcdonald’s about it and he said it true that you get given less at the drive through. Edited: trusted them again today and my point was unfortunately proven. Worse part is… no one ever looks at these reviews 🤣

So tonight my tea was missing from the order, a quick phone call to the restaurant that was promptly answered by Kate, a young lady who couldn't apologise enough for the mistake. Was offered a replacement if i could collect or a refund via the mcdonald's app. I opted for the food. Upon arrival I spoke to Kate who again apologised for he issue, remade 2 food orders, that were piping hot and sorted out the kids a McFlurry.. Hopefully this is a sign of change, Kate you're a credit to the company and thank you again for swiftly sorting the issue 👍🏻

We did click and collect on a Friday evening not too long a wait. My burger was delivered incorrectly, quick chat with the helpful young lady who delivered it and it was resolved in a timely manner

I hate leaving negative reviews, I really do but sometimes the service is so appalling at a place that you feel you really need to warn people. This is an absolutely shocking place at getting orders right. They ALWAYS miss something, usually condiments. They ask you what sauces you want but then fail to provide them. Why bother asking then? This is food that you wouldn't order if you knew it wouldn't be coming with condiments. When you bring it to their attention that condiments are missing, no-one cares. This is both the drive through and ordering online. You're then left with food you can't eat. I worked in hospitality most of my working life and I honestly can't see what is hard about honoring a complete order. It's not difficult to chuck a few sauces (that you have ordered) in a bag is it? I genuinely don't understand, it's not like you're asking for them out of their own personal stash. To be fair to them, if its food thats missing then you do get a refund but it doesn't change the fact that they can never get an order right. When going through the drive through, I now travel miles out of my way to go to another mcdonalds but when you order online for delivery, you don't get a choice. If you did then I wouldn't ever choose this place.

Ordered through just eat, never again. Arrived cold, sauce missing that was paid for, leaking drinks everywhere, food was terrible, also complained through just eat. Will not be ordering from westhoughton McDonald’s again with either just eat or drive through etc.

Unfortunately due to McDelivery orders taking up so much staff time, service for everyone else is poor. Drive thru needs to be renamed park up. Have to park up more often than not and on the latest visit got home to find I'd been given completely the wrong order. Need to stop McDelivery until there's a dedicated dark kitchen to service deliveries.

The last two orders we have made to be delivered have had over half the items missing. I don't accept it's human error, especially as it was twice in the past month and also looking on here. I have also been unable to action a refund as the delivery companies take no ownership of it. Absolutely ridiculous that they can get away it, practically daylight robbery.

Just went swimming in westhoughton, 2 year old twins were starving, went to westhoughton McDonald's, paid with a £20 that had a rip half way through to the bottom, apparently the young staff think my note isn't legal tender and handed it me back and would not pass me the food, Prince Charles is going to hear about this, who trains these people to let kids starve. Go on the bank of England website if your the manager.

Absolute shambles in here. People getting the wrong orders and we waited around 15 to 20 minutes for a cappuccino and a McFlurry! Perhaps more staff training is required.

Thee most worst McDonald’s around! Westhoughton. Can never get a simple order right. I have kept on giving them the benefit of doubt because I enjoy McDonald’s, however it is the last time. Food arrived like it has come from Antarctica and no sauces. Every time theirs something missing or it’s stone cold. Avoid Westhoughton McDonalds. 😤

NEVER and I mean NEVER order from them for delivery because they NEVER add sauces for things like chicken selects. I would put my life on the fact that I won't receive the sauces I pay for. There is a problem with the system where they won't add the sauces and it will not be fixed no matter how many times I complain through uber eats... so hopefully this message gets to someone at the restaurant who can sort it because a Chicken select without Sour cream and chive is like And without Dec!

Absolutely fuming ordered by uber app turned up half my order was missing £12 worth rang the store to be spoken to like a child and she blamed uber how is it there fault they get giving the order when it's ready need staff at that place who dint mess about there always messing around with other orders are always wrong not very good us it n9w I have to wait 5 to 10 working days for a refund it's just right at all shocking

Review updated, store used too be pretty A-typical McDonalds (not fine dining but you knew what you were getting and it was alright). However, recently food quality has been generally poor. Had a delivery once tonight and once again everything was cold, the meat on the burger was over cooked and had fallen apart, far too much lettuce and sauce, fries not salted, and all the boxes full of grease inside and out.

Can’t follow simple orders like “one Sausage and Egg McMuffin Please” Instead just omitting that item completely and giving me just a hash brown. As the missing item was a “reward” item the only response I got was “ooopsie” And as this was a delivery I was sent round in circles with Uber eats and McDonald’s. Issue wasn’t resolved I was basically told that there was nothing to be done and I was left short. Poor form.

Not a bad mcdonalds, milkshake machine isn't always broken anyway. Staff seem happy enough, even on the drive thru.

Very very very slow. Loads of people waiting and one was playing on a till and the other was walking around. Other manager had to come up to say stop and fix the queue. Food was ready quick, just wasn’t given to me quick. Watch as it was created and just sat there. Crazy service.

Ordered breakfast before 11am, checked on using location that we were there before 11am but due to queue only got uo drive thru speaker at 11:01 to be told that they couldn't provide what we had paid for.

Good traditional pub serving Robinson's beer. Great beer garden. Makes the perfect place to await incoming flights instead of being ripped off by the airport. Great location, Robinson's Ale.

Reasonably clean considering the state of the snow but Abigail & Joanne did their ultimate best to maintain high standards, noisy, arrogant, obnoxious teens were quickly & politely dealt with, clean places to sit, but I found the food just a bit "dry" had a very pleasant chat with Joanne during eating & I was treated with respect by Abigail who I found to be very caring & endearing, she was very sincere, polite, tactile & an absolute credit to the team, she was the epitome of true, warm, customer service & it was all genuine, totally unrehearsed, a true credit to the establishment, if this is the standard that is upheld then I will definitely call again soon.!

It's a great drive through. Sometimes you have to park up. Friendly staff who are helpful. We had a little longer than normal wait for generic items but doesn't distract from a 5 star offering

Got a delivery from the the food was not edible the big Mac was like it was dipped in water, the wrap was no better the other burger had tomatos on it when I asked for none due to allergies chips was stone cold and when tested by my son he sed it was like they tried to reheat them 🤢 all went in the bin had to order from the take away as I had kids to feed as it was getting on. Got in touch with the delivery company to be told I could not get a refund what took them 3days to get back to me. Called the store and I was told to come down and I would get a refund from them so I went down just to be told they couldn't do it get back InTouch with the delivery company just to be told the same and they give me their area managers email what turned out to be wrong, never getting food for thought again or the delivery company again too waste of money and time all in all spent £30 at this McDonald and £15+ take away. All in all stay away

Usually slow on orders inside. Ordered a breakfast without any meat, the inside of the muffin was coated with sausage fat. Using same tongues across all foods

Waited 20 mins this evening, having ordered at the drive thru. Only when I chased the order did it eventually arrive. Got food home, cold, and missing part of order…. Totally unsatisfactory service.

Wouldn’t recommend food from here especially for takeout or delivery, items always missing freezing cold food which is stale and is just in general disgusting food. On a few occasions we’ve had deliveries come and items missing and cold food. We’ve also had where we tried it a different way a couple of times and ordered on their app to collect in the restaurant and again same thing freezing cold food and items missing… I only live around 3-5 mins drive away from the restaurant so that’s not a long enough distance to drive where the food would be stone cold when I get home.! To say we’ve had enough of our experience with McDonald’s is an understatement and I highly doubt I’ll be ordering from or visiting a McDonald’s in the future. Maybe a little bit of advice to McDonald’s stores, RE train your staff as this happens in other McDonald’s too, it’s like you have a bunch of incompetent people working for you who clearly don’t care about their jobs and customers because the customer service is shocking.!

Hardly any caramel sauce in the galaxy mcflurry. Basically just ice cream with a couple pieces of chocolate on it. When i asked them about it they were rude and passive-aggressive. Wouldn’t recommend going here.
