We like walking in the woods here but it feels unloved and uncared for in many places, including the play area which needs some basic maintenance

Free parking and always a good walkthrough outside the park. Not many benches to sit down and rest up but have a good walk with most footpaths tarmacked. The local council try best to keep it clean and empty public bins regularly, you can tell it is keeled well. Look up on the website because there are good football areas to play in court areas and for running. Definitely worth checking it out, especially now hopefully the weather is changing for the better.

👍👍 Love this place . Nice to have this refreshing , beautifull point in town . It has a tracking trail and you can track on it down the hill . Outstanding to walk here . It's beautifull at night with lights far away and the small buildings that are clustered like you see in a painting or a story book....

👍👍 Great place for Children to play and very popular with dog walkers around the old golf course. The club house has been knocked down and some houses have been built.
