Absolutely horrendous clinic. I have actually had enough of this place. I doubt many clinics are that much better but here goes. I have a serious head pain which all of my symptoms lead to as bad as a head tumour. I haven’t been able to work peacefully because of the head pains and we have explained the severity of my problem. We go in 10 minutes late due to traffic yet once we arrive we are told that I cannot be seen because I’m 10 minutes late. Bare in mind I always wait 20-30 minutes after my appointment to be seen and 15 minutes on a good day. They never give me a heads up that they are going to be late. But I arrive 10 minutes late and I cannot be seen. Bolton general practice honestly terrible. I do not recommend this practice.

Very poor service, receptionist was rude shouting in the phone, waiting on phone more than one hour to book an appointment. I have asthma and I had problem with breathing, pain in the chest etc. and she did not give me an appointment rather they will leave people die. Really not satisfied. I am changing my GP now.

Had such a lovely woman do my bloods, I’m terrified of needles and she did amazing at keeping me calm and was very gentle. Didn’t feel a thing and was the best experience I’ve had with having my bloods taken. Would highly recommend to any family member or friend to sign up here.

My experience has always been good at the Bolton General Practice. This Practice is obviously the best in Bolton in my opinion. I love it more since it has relocated to its new address. The staffs are friendly and very professional. Doctors pay attention to their patients and even take time to personally check on you outside of working hours. Impressive and personal care at its best. I love my GP services. Thank you guys for your support and care. Dr Jay, Donna, and also the rest of the team on the front desk, you are all my heros. Hats off for you all.

Its been 9 years at Bolton General Practice. Always excellent service and appointment schedule as expected.

When I needed to book an appointment in advance due to my job, the earliest appointment date was in 13 days time. On top of this, the last time I was there I was too ill to work so I showed up in the morning. I had a really bad fever and felt like I was going to faint and the receptionist yelled at me "I've already told you, you must wait in the corridor and not the reception!", even though I had just arrived in the building. I told her that I felt like I was going to faint, I just wanted to sit down for a few minutes just to stop myself from passing out, she insisted I get up and wait in the corridor. I asked if I could take a chair with me to the corridor while waiting and she said "no, you'll have to sit on the floor", which I ended up having to do. I can understand why the word " joke " is one of the most commonly occurring words when describing this place.

1 doctor on everytime I go in, Waiting 40+ minutes, kids left to run rampant screaming, the floor is disgusting for a GP likewise for the patients toilet..... I feel this GP could be alot better though the doctors aren't the issue they're doing a great service it's just badly run or just lacks staff.... You have at times 4-5 people behind reception just talking, 2 receptionists when one is solely running the desk and the other just walks around talking hire a cleaner to replace her one with the ability to empty the toilet bin and to clean the floor to a standard you'd expect in a general practice.

I was late for my appointment but I was attended to by Donna kindly. It was the most pleasant Nurse service I have gotten in a while. Thank you Bolton GP.

They are very helpful and supportive, I have been here over 10 years all doctors and staff have never let me down. I get given appointments when I need and on top of that I get supported too. Highly recommend

Poor customer service, had to rang them 3 times for a simple booking appointment. The receptionist was so rude on the call and said if you are not happy you can change your practice. She didn’t introduce herself and when I called again to complain they didn’t even care and said we don’t know how had you talked with while they are recording all calls. Try to register somewhere more professional!

The secretaries of this center make many mistakes to arrange an appointment and anay things else

Never answer call today I rung 260 time was busy line then they off phone now for me show number not valid. Definitely will send case to court . My son need gp they never answer

İt's the worst GP I have seen . I tried calling around 2 hours to have an appointment, but the recipient was not answering, and this is not the first time . I will change it.

Receptionist so rude didn’t talk GP just sent us to hospital and hospital didn’t know why they sent us very unprofessional rubbish services NHS

With other doctor surgery’s, calling at 8am for a same appointment is almost impossible. But at Bolton General Practise, I’m almost always given a same day appointment and on hold for less than 30mins. The receptionist team are very warm and make it easy to make a doctor’s appointment or sort any admin problems. Every doctor I’ve seen, has been very understanding and done their best to help me. Sometimes even admitting they themselves cannot help me entirely so they refer me immediately to a specialist who can which is amazing. They ensure I get the right help I need.

Such a nice practice, lovely working in such a busy environment. The staff always remain calm and friendly to our patients.

This GP surgery is by far the best in Bolton especially DrJay I have never known such kindness and understanding from a Gp in the past every member of staff are amazing so helpful and friendly I would recommend this surgery to anyone who needs a Gp fantastic service always Thankyou Lisa Greenhalgh

This Practice works above & beyond for their patients! My 86 year old father is well looked after & staff are very pleasant & attentive to his needs. Dr Jay is his Doctor & very compassionate & caring & On the ball with my fathers needs. He takes his time to listen & does not rush any situation. We are very lucky to have such caring Practice & very Thankful that my Father is in such good hands 😊😊😊

I have just spoken to Fatima on reception/appointments regarding my Mental health requiring a face-to-face she went the extra mile to get me one tomorrow and I'm so grateful to her. She is definitely an asset to my GP Surgery which is Bolton General Practice if had to score her she is a 10 out of 10, well done Fatima from a grateful patient.

This general practice is the worst experience I have had, poor customer service . Very terrible with dealing with patient cases .

Absolute shambles of a GP Practice, waited an already extended period of time for my babies 3rd dose vaccinations which was already 2 weeks after the NHS recommended 16wks old as they had no appointments (surprise) then on the day of the appointment I just got a text saying it was cancelled with no explanation, telling me to call to rearrange which then I had to queue to do that, was then told they had no more appointment for the next two weeks… so now the NHS 16wk timeframe will be at 20weeks and a month overdue because of the useless GP practice
