They have more staff, Quickly served with de-flea for the cat, picked up a nice new pink collar while shopping around. Good happy Staff. Plenty of parking on the retail park. Traffic much better now they have nearly finished the roadworks.

THE WORST GROOM ROOM I HAVE EVER ATTENDED. Normally we regularly go to the bury groom room, but due to covid restrictions, they were fully booked so I thought each groom room would have a standard to abide by!. How wrong was I.. I have a shih tzu and paid £52 for a standard groom no extras, my dog as you will see in the pictures was not to any standard, she has long arm put hairs, bald patches all over. Just no care what's so ever. Worst is, I asked the groomers had she been okay, her reply perfect she didn't even move.... OKAY EXPLAIN he hair then.. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, ITS NOT FAIR ON YOUR ANIMAL. A formal complaint has been made also.

I remember it being much more well stocked and well presented. When I went in to shop for a new puppy, things just seemed to be all over the place. The girl on the till was lovely and had a really sweet nature about her though.

Went in today to get some puppy food for my new dog and what a lovely experience I had at the Bolton branch. Huge selection of food and toys and then the beautiful girl at the counter helped me figure out how best make use of the app to make the most of my vouchers. I’m looking forward to going back even if it’s just to get a heart warming smile from Elise, she has made me a loyal customer of pets at home. 5 stars every time

Bought a rabbit from here today and Alex was super friendly and helpful. Made me feel confident in what I was buying and gave me lots of helpful information.

Helpful staff, you can get almost all your needs for most pets, Birds, mice dogs ,cats, lizards, fish and more. It can be very busy and sometimes they need another member of staff on the shop floor.

I enjoy visiting this clean and well stocked store. The staff there are always helpful and friendly.

Always good customer service, only fault is they should do more items for reptiles, etc lizards as I have to make my way up Manchester every couple month to collect specific items, but other than that absolutely brilliant store, friendly customer service and good, reasonable, prices.

Nipped in for dog food but wish I hadn't. The service was terrible, only 1staff member working her way through a very long queue. Not her fault I know but maybe it would be better if they had self service checkouts if they aren't willing to pay for the appropriate amount of staff.

Had a health scare with our little luna, the vets 4 pets staff were very understanding and an appointment was given within a few hours same day. Fortunately wasn't a big issue and will be back in a few weeks to get her checked over again. Thank you Keep up the great work.

Went in to this store to buy a £35 indoor Guinea pg hutch. Spoke to a staff member that told me they aren't big enough and legally not big enough. He continued to tell me the outdoor rabbit hutches aren't up to legal requirements. Didn't make sense as it stated for the specific animal. He reluctantly sold us the cage. We are experienced Guinea pig owners having them for over twenty years and our piggies lived until 9 no problems. Not impressed with the staff.

So popped in New Year’s Eve as one of my dogs had fleas I’ve never experienced this before so wanted some advice. They sent a lady down to speak to me basically to pressure me into entering a monthly subscription. When I explained I just wanted to get this situation sorted then I would look into a monthly subscription after the lady was evidently not happy eventually allowed me to buy one application of the frontline flea product. Not her or the lady behind the till explained that after applying this not cheap product I would have to re flea my house, so you can probably guess what happened a few days after treating my dogs they re appeared.

Took my dog to get his nails trimmed and the groomer did a perfect job. All the staff I spoke with were friendly, approachable and kind.

Good for cats dogs n fish but not much for household birds.did get some discount with my nhs badge

Very friendly staff, lots of choices of cat food especially the senior 11 plus food which is hard to find in a lot of shops. Great choice of wild bird food too.

Always nice and polite when I go in and my dog rates it 5 star as well because she always gets a new ball when we go in!

Having for many years taken dog to be trimmed. From the last previous cut - was charged 20% more ! Under the guise “oh his legs were slightly matted ( the dog gets brushed every day ) absolute rubbish so was charged £15 more than previous visit - the cutter was only too keen to for the uplift. Good trim though - but this loyal owner Won’t be back … ripped off at £55 !

Sometimes the staff here are good. Sometimes they're just completely oblivious. There's many times I've been stood wanting assistance, but non of the staff acknowledge I'm there. Half the time you can only see one staff member, and they're at the till serving loads of customers.

All of The Staff are lovely, nothings to much trouble to help an assist you on your visit an Appointments, definitely 5stars

They generally have the larger bags of cat food I buy for our trio as opposed to ordering online. Quick, polite pleasant service. But couldn't find any water fountains.

We have taken our dog here before but not had great experience. You get lulled back by half price offers after so many grooms. In summer our dog was scalped on the pretext of her hair was tangled. The last time the groom was uneven. If you dare to complain their apathetic attitude and terrible customer handling skills leave a lot to be desired. Our advice go elsewhere if you want the best groom for your dog.
