Excellent chippy, very tasty and generous portions, one large chips served 2 with left overs! Well priced, very friendly staff, will definitely be back!

The lovely lady behind the counter makes this place! The food is also pretty yummy. After just grabbing a small bag of chips to share 3 ways, we were back for seconds immediately afterwards! May not look amazing on the outside or honestly inside either but it's definitely worth a shot! Reminds me of how chippys used to be in fact!

Great fish, chips and chip shop curry sauce 😋

Friendly local fresh fish and chips with a small but very good Chinese menu. Friendly owners, food is superb. Egg fried rice is one of the best in the area.

No wonder it’s called morning tide. Last night, me and my partner tried this chippy for the first time after A1 closed early. We both had fish, chips and curry sauce. The curry sauce tasted like sweet and sour and we both commented on it tasting sweet (not off, but sweet and not nice) we were so hungry we ate it. This morning we both have sickness and diarrhoea.... do yourself a favour, avoid.

Visiting the area and searched on maps for a chip shop. Decent reviews and nearest so gave it a go. Not what we expected from the outside, small place situated in the middle of houses. As we entered we were greated by a very friendly woman who took our order and chatted away to us. Not sure if this is just a chip shop as offered Chinese food as well. Had the usual issue with Scottish ten pound notes which after a while she accepted as the legal tender it is. Now the food was delicious. Portion size amazing, tasted great and chips were not greasy. Pleasant surprise. Oh and only £7 for 2 sausage and chips.

Extremely good only place for me for fish and chips. Introduced it to a friend, he has devoured the Chinese menu and raves about it

We’ve had fish&chips from here quite a few times and they’ve always been very good. Generous portions and the fish ‘tastes like a fish’. I find that in some other places the fish can be quite tasteless. Last weekend we ordered some Chinese food for the first time. The salt & pepper chilli chicken was delish. And my friend said that the chicken curry was the best she’s had from a chippy. This will definitely will be our place to go to when we want a takeaway.
