Golf course in excellent condition. The competition organisers where very friendly and helpful. Had a lovely time playing golf here. Sep 2022 Played again here today and had another lovely day. Course still in excellent condition. The Captain made an effort to drive around the course and welcome all the teams which was nice. Excellent service in the clubhouse and a lovely meal after the golf. I had chicken curry with rice & chips. Very tasty and reasonably priced. Great golf club.

Very nice function room for parties and the like. I'm not a golfer so no idea what the course is like other than green.

Really nice course this one, it's a good challenge but not too difficult for beginners. Course was in very good condition when I played, will definitely be visiting again.

Lyn and her staff were friendly and polite. Great place to be for drinks and also to have a function.

Disappointing looking building, look like a couple of wooden portacabins, however, much nicer inside, fresh and clean. The food was also nice although it was just a buffet as I was there as part of a funeral party. Traditional buffet food including; open sandwiches, quiche, salad, crisps, pasta, as well as desserts, cheese and biscuits, but limited vegetarian options just egg and cheese sandwiches and some mini cheese and onion parties.

Nice layout , weather was bad so very wet ...

I didn't like the grass because I had hayfever but apart from that it was ok . Nothing special really, just some feilds and a small bar..

Green fees not overly pricey, enjoyed the coarse, good condition. Greens excellent but as difficult as I've played all year. Nice bit of lunch after the game, pleasant bar and kitchen staff. Will be playing there again soon, weather permitting.

Interesting course with great difficult greens

Hired the function room for a 80th party. Lovely room , cosy but spacious with lovely views of the golf course & separate room for food service. Had the onsite catering pie & peas option, food was delicious, they provided a vegan option no hassle, service was excellent with nothing being too much trouble for the staff - Lyn, Sharon & team super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended more than 5 stars ********

Great Club and testing course, always treated well when playing the Senior Team Opens over many years, very friendly club.

A very good venue for private functions, we recently celebrated our Diamond wedding there and we all had a very enjoyable time. We would recommend it.

Welcoming and friendly. Attended a wake after local funeral, food and drinks really enjoyable.

Went for bonfire night was chaotic but a great atmosphere, parking needs to be better, instead of parking all down the main road.

Nice course, some very interesting holes...

The course landscape team do an amazing job. Plays so well, even after rain. First nine a real challenge rewarding views out to Manchester and Wales on a bright day.
