I don't know what happened with this business. It used to be one of the top required stops when going to the north of DR. It's really disappointing that several things off the menu weren't on sale, not sure what happened: I ordered a completo sandwich and they didn't have that just a normal sandwich with ham, cheese, tomato and lettuce it arrived with no ketchup or Mayo or even with no butter. The croquettes were really salty that I didn't finish due to salt. The service was quite slow for a normal Monday. 3/5 for this business hopefully they read this and can fix their issues.

Bad service, staff is not nice, rushes people to order, they are rude. Also the food was not great, the only good thing i can say, is that is very clean and beautiful. They need to change their staff ASAP, otherwise they’ll keep loosing business, I’m never coming back.

Whenever you go to the Cibao, here its a must stop. They are not only a great bakery, they have a excellent menu of breakfast and lunch as well. The bathroom are very hygiene. Try “Quipe” that they have. One of the best grab and go things to eat that they have.

This is my standard 'pit-stop' when traveling North. A quick breakfast, or a full sit down meal, snack or coffee on the go, it's all here. Clean, friendly and a great selection of food and treats, no wonder this place has it's 'must visit' reputation. Did I mention the food is great???

This location of Miguelina Panaderia has a large outdoor patio with a playground for children. The pan de queso was delicious, the habichuelas con dulce was very good, and all the bakery I've ever had here has been fresh and good. I also had a cappuccino with a nice foam.

Raw chicken served —— pollo crudo! The ambiance was nice, the service was friendly, but I have experienced salmonella one time in my life so I’m very quick to give this restaurant a 1 star rating. If this didn’t happen I probably wouldn’t have rated this restaurant because it was decent but I normally only rate the best and the worst experiences I have. New review, 2nd experience. Ok we gave them a second chance and I will give them a 4 star today. Food was prepared well and service was great. No uncooked food and overall a nice experience today. Ambiance remains nice.

Best stop I’ve found on Highway 1. We’ve been stopping for years and are not disappointed. We have tried the other stops and always find them lacking. Pros: -Extremely clean restaurant and restrooms -Very good food and baked goods -Peaceful setting even though it’s next to highway -Family friendly Cons: -Limited selection compared to competition. -Pricy by local standards

This place used to be the absolute best stop on the highway but it is definitely the worst as of today. The quality of the food and options has gone from a 10 to a 3 where they don't have their best sellers available anymore and what they do have does not stand up to the standards. The quipes were old and hard and overpriced, same thing as everything else. They used to have the best breads, pastries, desserts and food but all of that is just memories. The only thing is the bathrooms that are the same and some of the staff that are friendly. Felt very disappointed that I couldn't get any of the treats I used to love enjoying.

This is a really relaxing pitstop with a bunch of desserts y and homemade drink to choose from. You can also sit outside and relax before continuing your drive. They also had food items such as Empandas and cake.

I used to love this spot. But when they expanded their store, it seemed that the quality depreciated.

Great spot for breakfast or brunch. It’s very convenient since you just need to get off the highway. It’s a great location to stop after a drive from Santo Domingo about 1 hr more or less. It’s a great stopping point for bathroom break or just to grab some snacks

This olace is the best place to stop and get refreshed or even eat something on your way to the north side of the island great view and super clean bathrooms. Needs customer service to be improved.

Miguelina a top ranked stop on your way to the north (Cibao) section of the Dominican Republic. Excellent baked goods, one of the cleanest bathrooms in the country. (Having a clean bathroom to stop was the main priority of the owner when she opened the place many years ago). The fried-ready-to-eat items are delicious! That's where I head when I enter. They have cassava fried balls with cheese, meat kibbehs, shrimp and crab.

Excellent typical snacks and deserts right off the highway. A great place to stop on a trip to Move or Costanza.

I had some issues with my flight in Santiago and had to fly out of Santo Domingo instead. This ended up being a blessing in disguise because my aunt recommended that my group and I stop here for some casabe (cassava bread) because theirs is good quality, it is already toasted and oiled up and easy to grab it to go. Outside of the foil packaging they serve it in being annoying to handle because it too is oily, the casabe itself is very good; I was happy to have purchased a few to bring back home with me. Their location had a variety of sweets and snacks but I can't really speak to anything else since I went there with a one track mind.

Los Dulces are the best..all natural ingredients with no heavy syrups... naturally sweetened...worth the drive from Santiago De Los Caballeros!!!
