Nice and cozy just like at your aunt’s. Little and big sofas, armchairs, old-fashioned lamps and pictures all over the walls. Vinyls on the shelves. Little cute souvenirs everywhere. Good breakfast. Personally, I don’t understand people who complain that there’s too less/nothing to eat. Eggs are there, buns, cheese, cold cuts, delicious croissants. And cereal. Everything’s fresh. Unless one wants to eat a horse at 7am, but blaming a hotel for too less food for breakfast is ridiculous. Friendly personnel! Quiet, lovely neighborhood! Various cousins, cocktail bars, street food within 300-500 metres. Parking garage available. One thing I didn’t like, hence 4 stars, is a shower curtain and the toilet brush. Shower curtain made of fabric, smelly, with traces of mold at the bottom - completely out of place. The sour smell from the curtain especially is terrible. Toilet brush - no words, really. You don’t want see it at anyone’s house, so for sure not in a hotel. Maybe/ hopefully, it was only in our room. This is for the hotel management to take care of, for sure, I don’t blame cleaning ladies. Really hope that glass walls or shower cabins will be installed. And a little recommendation, a 0.5 bottle of water in rooms would be nice ☺️. Better put it in the room price, but make it available. To sum up, I’d stay there again if the shower is refurbished. Thanks for reading!

+ the location is convenient, 15 min walking from the center. + the design is unique and charming - they offer cribs but at the end there was no availability. - when we arrived to the room, the garbage from the previous guests was there still. - the room was not clean during our two days stay. - the breakfast could have more variety, and they should refill the groceries that the early guests finished. When the nice bread was finished, they didn’t put more. - the breakfast room is very charming but not practical.

Tante ALMA‘s is a very nice and Cosy place. Feels like home away from home. The staff has been very helpful and attend to you very well. I love that it’s situated very close to restaurants, markets, pharmacies, bars, printing shop, bakery, saloon. You literally walk for 200 metres and you have everything you Need. You also get to meet a lot of people from all over Europe.

everything was nice. The room was very clean and friendly staff around. Internet was good and breakfast was fine to me. The only star that I reduce is due to some noise that one of the neighbours made in the night. It was not a party noise, but from the baggage and stuff. I would have expected more isolation. itherwise it was nice staying there.

Very nice hotel for the price. The rooms are small, but contain everything you might need for sleeping there. The breakfast is okay and there are many restaurants nearby. From the hotel it takes about 40 minutes by train to reach the main train station of cologne and about 20 to get to the main station of bonn.

Oh I love love the Tante, best place ever. Facilities are awesome and the neighborhood is pretty chilled. Also it's 5 mins by bus away from the Central area so you get to attend frun events. Don't forget to always have your bus ticket and masks on Germany.

The rooms are well except it smells sometimes, the building and whole furniture are antique in a way that you think everything is handcrafted, the laundry was easy to use but once it did not incorporate any detergent:)) the breakfast is good quality and was my favorite part of my three weeks stay, although at the beginning I was frustrated due the tone of one of the reception ladies but overall I think price is reasonable. If you wanna visit the University of Bonn its close to it, you can consider it.

The hotel is situated close to the lively Poppelsdorf area and is nicely decorated. However, we were very unhappy with our room. There was an extremely unpleasant smell that would not go away by airing out the room. Furthermore, we found blood stains on one of the sheets and there was mold between the bathroom tiles. This made the place feel uncomfortable and unhygienic. Would not recommend and will definitely not book again.

Tante Alma's is located in nice and quiet place with bus stops within few minutes of walk. My room was on first floor with view into garden, Equpped with large flat tv, no refrigirator, mirror in front of a bed, so every morning i woke up scared, because above the bed is aunt Alma on the wall :) Shower/toilet is nice, my hydrostatic valve (temperature) in the shower was broken, so only warm water to shower. 1 start down for no possibility to pay for the stay in advance (2 days) after 20.00. Breakfast standard, located on the 3rd floor. I would recommend this accomodation.
