Very good patisserie. Highly recommended 👌

When i still lived in Essen years ago, i came here nearly every Sunday for cakes. There are always so many good cakes to choose, one piece of cake is just not enough. After Corona, the design of indoor seats changed so not so many seats as in earlier time. We asked the clerk for the reason, and were told that they need more space to make cakes and nowadays many people prefer to order with delivery service. Anyway good to know that they are doing well and as usual the cakes were terrific.

You can get a classic German breakfast for a reasonable price. Their motto is "wir sind nicht hip, wir sind lecker" (we're not hip, we're tasty), which describes the breakfast really well. We had an all-in kind of breakfast that came with several kinds of bread and rolls, cold cuts, cheese, scrambled eggs, house-made jam, freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee as well as the "Market Breakfast" that had a boiled egg, cheese, fruit, a croissant and roll. Very tasty, nice to hang out for a lazy morning.

The service was so so as only one person was working outside and one inside. The one who was dealing with outdoor orders was also not good in language so she couldn't understand well but it could be better to have more. It also speed up the work. The coffee and strawberry cake was not what I expected in comparison toy other experiences so it was not ranked as really good. It could be better. The design and decoration were nice and atmosphere is also nice both indoor and outdoor. No parking possibility except from the street park Big enough to find a seat Price was a bit high esp for the quality of the order I had

The food took a while. But when it arrived it was plentiful and tasty.

Awesome place and a very good ambience. Superb variety of cakes and all are extremely delicious The breakfast options are also quite nice and the ambience is just super.. A must visit place on the weekends

Last Saturday was my first time to go there. The coffee and cakes are really nice! The staffs were nice too! I love to go there again!
