This
Hotel
is
relatively
simple
but
excellent.
We
cannot
recommend
the
Hotel
zur
Bever
highly
enough
and
Markus
Traebert
is
a
welcoming
host.
We
enjoyed
room
11
-
a
large
apartment
on
the
top
floor
-
so
I
can't
speak
for
the
'standard'
rooms,
but
ours
was
spacious,
light
and
well
appointed.
The
breakfast
room
has
a
good
number
of
tables
and
the
breakfast
buffet
is
heaving
with
choices,
so
no-one
should
go
hungry!
The
staff
are
welcoming,
friendly
and
attentive,
and
some
speak
excellent
English
which
is
a
great
help
for
those
whose
German
is
only
of
'school
boy'
standard!
There
is
a
restaurant
on
the
ground
floor
with
an
entrance
facing
the
street
(not
to
be
confused
with
a
simpler
diner
at
the
back
of
the
Hotel)
and
this
has
a
good
menu
and
skilled
chefs
who
provide
superb
dishes
of
generous
proportions.
Be
warned
however,
this
restaurant
is
not
part
of
the
Hotel
and
has
a
seperate
proprietor;
it
does
not
accept
credit
cards,
so
'foreigners'
like
us
are
well
advised
to
withdraw
some
cash
beforehand
from
the
Volksbank
adjacent
to
the
Hotel.
