I came here to watch my niece at her softball practice and really enjoyed our visit. The grass is well cared for with plenty of extra space for littles who aren’t quite old enough for organized sports. My son loved the playground with balance toys, digging toys, and your normal play structure. The bathroom has a nice mural on the outside but we didn’t go inside. The snack shop has excellent ice cream options and my sister in law enjoys the nachos. My nephew loves to play at the skatepark too.

Took a quick trip to visit the park and find the trails. The trails are not far from the main parking area. Just need to go past the tennis court and skate area and there is a sign that used to have information possible and you enter a nice quiet trail area. The trails were still a bit wet and some parts were muddy as we have had a lot of rain this spring(2022). The walk through the trails was nice. Not hard trails at all. Looks like some of the bicycle people that use the skate park may bike back there based on tracks. My dog enjoyed the walk and all the new smells. Please make sure to leash your dog and pick up after them, and enjoy the sounds of nature together!

Beautiful family-friendly setting where leashed dogs are welcome. It's great for picnics, swimming, and going on walks. There is a playground, a wooded area with trails, a skate park, and multiple ball fields. You can even rent kayaks and paddle boards in the summer! One caveat: the beach is not cleaned year-round, so watch your step. Lots of bird activity. Everywhere.

Awesome little park with a lot of shade for hot days. A big swimming area and small dock. There is some underwater plant life but it’s not gross and didn’t bother myself or my eight year old son’s. Also paddle board rentals.

Have been going here for years. I love that their is something for every age. I took my 5 year old to the park and he had a blast, they had an ice cream truck there too. During the summer the lake is nice, it just super cold but it hits the spot on those 80+°F days.

Great park for family's or anyone trying to have a fun safe time outdoors in Lake tapps or the skate park & baseball field across the street. Bootlaunch and police security available too.

Beautiful lake to take your boat out on or your jet ski. There is a kayak/paddleboard rental you can take out on the water which depending on what you get could be $40-$50 and hour plus some if you stay on the water for over that time. Could get a little crowded during the summer and parking will be hard to find but over all I believe it to be a nice area to take the family and relax under the sun or under the shade of a tree and relax and enjoy the water to cool off.

Plenty of grass and spots to enjoy the lake! Bathrooms across the street by the baseball fields.

We went for the Wednesday night concert in the park. It was beautiful. The band sounded great and though there were a lot of people everyone was having a great time. There is room in front of band for everyone who wants, to dance. There are food trucks and vendors normally as well as a beer garden for those over 21. Recommend you bring lawn chairs as the only seating is in beer garden and that fills up fast. Dogs are welcome on a leash. Fun event for all ages. There were people ages 2 to 82 out dancing, I kid you not. A can't miss event every Wednesday evening during the summer. Get there early for parking.

Beautiful park, great place for anything from a picnic to just sitting by the waterfront and enjoying the day. Playground and other courts are across the park for those wanting a friendly game or two.

This park use to be a hidden gem but given the parking issues, verbal fights, and battles at the boat launch the park has become just another part of Lake Tapp's to survive. You could almost call the park is a tinder box ready to ignite, on most summer weekends.

Always a great place to spend summer days in the water and can get pretty crowded. There is a new skate park set to open very soon just down the street also! That's going to be very exciting.

Amazing park right at the foothills of the mountains. We can see mount Rainer in the background in the late summer days. When the suns up till 10 and night, it's one of the best places you can be..

Easy and close parking. There's a playground across the street and lots of picnic tables/benches and grass to sit on. There's a swim area with a dock surrounding it. Very good place to take kids and to paddleboard. There is a small boat ramp as well. You can rent kayaks here too I'm pretty sure. Beware goose poop.

it used to be a good park. But it is sooo packed now. Goodluck finding parking. They turned the largest of the 3 parking lots into a boat trailer parking only. Mind you there will only be Max 6 cars and boat trailers parked there... the bathrokms have no locks on the stalls. also now there are soo many underage kids 15yr+ that get drunk and belligerent at the park. Walking around with bottles trying to fight with people..There are constantly kids fighting. Last summer, some kids pulled a gun and started shooting in the air to break up a fight. The cops don't even care anymore. It's sad

Pretty crowded for such a little swimming area. Went paddle boarding. They do have life jackets to barrow if your boating not sure if they are used for the swimmers or just the boating people bug water was fairly tolerable and looked cleaner then it has the last few years.

We celebrated my daughters 15th birthday here and it was just so beautiful.. but the swimming area is concrete and has no beach or sand area and it’s smaller so come earlier if you want a better spot to set up your picnic area🧺🛥️

Went here to paddle board for the first time and it was a very nice spot. They had bathrooms close by and a picnic area. I will definitely be coming back here again.

You looking for a place to go and “relax” this is definitely the lake for you. Tons of friendly kids who blast their music from giant speakers into your ears as you eat your lunch. Drinking when the park clearly says not to. 14 years olds vaping and cussing up a storm because it’s the cool thing to do. All in all a great place for the family!

We rented stand up paddle boards on a 80 degree weekday. Lake doesn't wake up till around noon. So the morning was calm and easy to paddle. Park is great. Police monitor it and there is a sand volleyball court too.

Not a huge fan of Allan Yorke.. During the summer, which is the only time to go, it's pretty much shoulder to shoulder. It would be an okay park if it wasn't for that. The pros would be the docked off swimming area, the playground, skate park and softball field. I don't know the hours, but there is also a concession stand.
