The spa had a good selection of pools and saunas. They were in reasonable condition, albeit the sparkling pool seemed to have stopped working on the second day. The morning seemed to be the busiest time of day; the evening was much more pleasant. The plastic sandals provided weren't that comfortable and the sound of squeaking sandals was ubiquitous. Mine were taken by someone else before I left the spa for the final time, which wasn't that surprising, as they are all one of two colours and there are hundreds of pairs all near one another. The room was fine, but slightly underwhelming. There was no air-conditioning. It was therefore hot in the south-facing room during the day. The window would not stay open, so had to be wedged open (partially) with a towel. The reception team did not answer the phone when I rang to ask about air conditioning, so we went to the front desk in person to see if they could help, which they did by providing a fan. The bathroom was in a slightly sorry state. It needs to be redecorated, as does the room and hallways. The food was not great - very much below expectations for the price point. The system to get seated at lunchtime was comically inefficient. It should not take ten minutes to sit down when you have been told to come at a specific time and do so. The dinner buffet was, unfortunately, not good. Others have described it and the menu does not appear to change much if at all, so I won't go into detail. The host was very helpful as was our waiter. The sushi was the best part, albeit fairly average taste-wise. Breakfast was a bit better than lunch and dinner. The sound healing ceremony was great and the shop has some interesting things for sale. The atmosphere is generally calm and relaxing, in particular in the silent room near the tea area. It would be great to have more teas and some more interesting fruits. The signage around the hotel is extremely confusing and it's easy to get lost. There doesn't seem to be much cleaning of communal areas, as a hand towel remained on the floor near our room for most of the day. The overall impression is of somewhere that is not investing sufficiently in maintenance or staff levels. It's a nice place to visit, but could be much improved with some more focus on the food offering and more investment in maintenance and staff.

Yasuragi is a bath of tranquility. Get there to escape everyday hustle. The atmosphere is relaxing. The colors, lights, sounds and smells are synchronized to promote meditation. Of course, the main attraction is the baths. There are many types of baths, saunas, and dry saunas. The temperature varies between freezing baths to sorching salt saunas. There are quiet areas and hours. The only sounds those of running water. The food is excellent. The service is very friendly, but it takes 30 - 40 minutes. The price is high, as expected. Make sure to drink fresh water and to register your car at the entry if you drove. Also, if you need special sizes, just ask for them at the front desk.

Really enjoyed our stay here! 490€ for 2 persons for a room with 3 course dinner (drinks not included), free access to the spa and a breakfast buffet. The spa itself was really great and the staff was super nice and helpful. Particularly enjoyed the outside baths and the breakfast buffet which had something for everyone, including some Japanese elements. Will definitely be back sometime and next time I’ll also pay to get the extra 4 hours in spa and included lunch, so I can enjoy the spa the next say without stressing for checkout.

An amazing experience. It exceeded all my expectations! We spent our honeymoon weekend at the hotel, and it was fantastic! A quiet and peaceful atmosphere envelops you like a warm blanket. The spa is incredible! The hotel offers many activities during the day as well. They also have a lovely and picturesque outdoor area. You don't need to worry about what to wear; they provide everything for you, including bathrobes, swimwear, and slippers. The staff is friendly and helpful. It was incredibly thoughtful of them to give us a small wedding present with a lovely postcard! And the breakfast was fantastic! I believe it was the best hotel breakfast of my life! With many options, everything is so tasty! A wonderful, wonderful option for a weekend getaway! Definitely want to come back!

Wonderful place to spend a day, evening or weekend if you are into spa! This place has baths indoors and outdoors, different saunas and places for relaxing and also massages. When staying over night you also get dinner in the Japanese restaurant which was really amazing. The staff is friendly all time. Also the spa provides you with swimsuits, towels, and slippers. The only thing that was not super good were the beds, as a double bed is two small beds standing side by side so during the night a gap is growing. Maybe this is not affecting all rooms! I would definitely visit again!

Fantastic spa with very disappointing food. Avoid to go during summer when the regular restaurants are closed! The spa itself is absolutely beautiful, the views are fantastic, the Japanese style bedroom very cozy, the personal was really kind. However the food we got served was so bad, tasteless and cold, there is no excuse to serve such disappointing food in this type of establishment, even as a buffet. We stayed two nights and chose to skip lunch the second day. Breakfast was not as bad but not great either. Only exception, the desserts at dinner and sweets at breakfast were fantastic. A very appreciated bonus: our baby got his own little yukata and we could keep it. That was the cutest thing. We will probably come back but either have dinner somewhere else or come outside of summer!

Positives: The baths and sauna are nice. Lots of resting areas as well. The fresh fruit and teas were a very nice bonus. We also loved the walk in the garden and the outside gym area. Negatives: don't order the chocolates, it's so not worth the money. We got 4 miserable pieces for a price of 10euro. Dinner was also very underwhelming. We booked a 3-course menu, but when we got to the restaurant, it was closed. They gave us a buffet instead, which is not what we paid for. Also as there were more people than food, it was almost like a battlefield: trays were often empty and when it got refilled, people almost threw themselves on it to get a piece. The food was ok-ish, but definitely had higher expectations.

Wonderful japanese spa experience in Stockholm. Enjoyed the indoor sparkling spring and the big pool. They have 2 sauna rooms, one dry sauna and another one steam. Try to stay in as much as you can. Try their fantastic outdoor hot springs and enjoy its quiet and peaceful mood. Hotel rooms have a wonderful panoramic view, and the service was incredible. Try their Japanese restaurant, I loved crispy chicken and grilled octopus. Great experience 👍🏻

My experience at Yasuragi has been somewhat mixed, having visited the spa on two occasions—first, several years ago, and more recently. While the spa treatments I received during both visits were undeniably magical, providing a much-needed escape and relaxation, certain aspects of my recent experience have left me somewhat hesitant to return. During my initial visit, the atmosphere in the baths exuded a serene tranquility, with visitors respecting the unwritten rule of maintaining a hushed ambiance. Unfortunately, my most recent visit painted a different picture. The peacefulness was disrupted by elevated voices, particularly emanating from a group of six men in the sauna. Their animated conversation, with significant spacing between them, drowned out any possibility of a peaceful soak for others. It was a stark departure from the respectful and subdued atmosphere I remembered from my first visit. Furthermore, the integration of the vegan and regular restaurants into a single space was a notable change. Previously, these dining areas were separate entities, but now they shared the same space. This alteration made the experience feel more like a typical restaurant rather than the unique and distinct setting I had encountered before. The vegan options, while present, were merely satisfactory, and the overall culinary experience did not leave a lasting impression—neither positive nor negative. It's worth noting that certain issues, such as patrons using their phones in designated quiet areas, are beyond the control of the establishment. However, it did contribute to a less immersive experience during my recent visit. In conclusion, while Yasuragi remains a noteworthy destination for those who have never visited, the changes in ambiance, noise levels, and dining setup have somewhat diminished its allure for me. I would still recommend it as a one-time experience, particularly if invited, but personally, I may explore other spa options for future relaxation endeavors.

As always a relaxing atmosphere coupled with a good amount of varying activities and spa selection. The rooms are fine, nice minimalistic Japanese inspired. Here are 3 top things that Yasuragi could improve on: 1. Signage/guidance around through the entire in hotel facilities. 2. Food is not quite on par, quite sugary, not authentic. 3. Price, yeah sure you get a fine experience, and if you only want the bath you could get a card for 10 daily uses. But that's for people who live close by or have cars. For an establishment who prides themselves on being close to Stockholm city they sure don't accommodate for it. One solution beside lowering prices would be to offer shuttle busses; I'm confident their frequent clientele base would grow if they solve this issue, however they go about it.

Love this place! Unfortunately, it’s not allowed to take pics from the spa area so I can only share our room. Our personal highlight is definitely the Finnish sauna upstairs with the ice bath (there plenty different saunas and baths to choose from), and also the breathtaking water views from the Japanese Onsen (hot baths). The activities (sound healing, power of breath, ice bathing etc) and healthy food options are totally our thing and secret tip are the rocking massage chairs in the relaxation area👍

It’s a nice venue with many great activities and treatments. It would’ve been a 5/5 experience but most guests are not aware that talking isn’t allowed in the outside baths. Sadly there was nobody there to enforce it. I really hoped for some tranquility and peace but all I got was a never-ending chitchat 😢.

Excellent spa. Great place to relax mind and body. It’s very calming and esthetically beautiful. Service was very smooth and supportive in all places reception, spa and in restaurant. I recommend walk in garden with three different trails to walk. Rooms was after Japanese simplicity principles. Only downside was that after hotel check in 15:30 spa was very packed and annoying was that guests did not fallow signs of tranquility and we left and came after 18:30 and it was much calmer atmosphere. Those who enjoys spa this one is a must have - must to experience.

One of my favorite places to unwind in Scandinavia. The actual size and beauty of this enormous Japanese spa, hotel, and restaurant are not visible on their website. If your budget permits, you should definitely visit this location if you are in Stockholm. The only drawback is that not everyone can afford it. Also, no kids.

Nice relaxing place. Clean spa area and rooms. You feel very relaxed with all different options like big pool, steam baths, outside small warm mini pools with nice view. Food could be a bit better, for the starters, main course is very good level.

Very cozy spa with a nice variation of pools and saunas. The atmosphere in the spa is amazing. The food however was average and the atmosphere in the restaurant (nagi) felt a bit off. Fruit buffet was a nice touch. We also paid for late check out but didn’t get to keep the room and instead got a locker in the changing rooms.

Spa was wonderful! Would have loved to have better dinner experience. Service was excellent, perhaps the quality of the food could be improved and the choices too. The food was very regular which I would not expect with the quality of place and price. Perhaps the sushi could be doubled with some additional variety reducing the buffe options. Overall the experience was still pleasant and relaxing.

Great destination for a 24h escape from hectic life. Leave you phone or your tablet, read a paper book, explore the different hot/cold tubs of the Japanese bathhouse and add a massage for a perfect recipe. #slowdown

Been a few times, will definitely come back. A very lovely and well -designed spa. It is clean and well maintained. The lunch you have to book when you book more than one day is slightly annoying, but tasty The spa is a bit away from everything, but you can get to Boo for dinner if you don't want to order at the spa restaurant.

Very friendly staff at reception, yoga, and restaurant. Swimsuits for women were available from size Small up to size 52. Would have liked more instructions about spa ritual. Cupping yoga and Klang resa activities added to the experience. Very relaxing. Fresh fruit and tea were satisfying. Food in the restaurant very tasty and fresh!

The spa is fantastic and great. Really loved it. Been there twice and it’s worth a visit. When it comes to the hotel and the rooms, it was really disappointing. Sad rooms, the AC was very noisy so I had to sleep with ear plugs. The beds were very hard, the interior was worn out and there was a hole in the bed linens. The food was okay, although you only had the option to eat at the same restaurants when you stayed there for two nights as a vegetarian. I highly recommend the day spa, but it’s definitely not worth for an overnight stay.

I had a fantastic time at Yasuragi! It's the perfect place close to Stockholm where you get the chance to relax and recharge your batteries. The spa is amazing, offering a variety of options including a steam sodium sauna, cold plunge sauna, and outdoor pools with great ocean view. Highly recommended!

Magical experience. A full day of relaxation and felt fully energized afterwards. Many options of different pools and saunas and if you like cold bath you can do this as well.

It was our second visit in Yasuragi and the first one staying overnight as a couple. First stay was in summer of 2021. This time we came as a couple to enjoy a well deserved time without our daughter and to relax after a somewhat stressful year of 2023, looking forward to relax, enjoy warmth of the baths and saunas as well as the incomparable atmosphere of the location. Getting there: we recommend everyone to get the boat connection from Stockholm central - the ride is magical and climbing up to the establishment through snowy woods was really magical. The welcoming is really heartwarming and I like the Swedish hospitality a lot. The rooms: we decided to have a basic room without TV and were not disappointed. The room was designed in a simple and calming Japanese matter and we missed nothing. The view was just fantastic and the rest in the comfortable beds just awesome. The food: we are both vegetarians and when we booked we had the impression that there are several choices for a two night stay. The food itself that we received was fine but not very impressive. The selection itself was very disappointing and we had to eat the same menu again. Nothing bad, but considering the price and the advertisement on the website a bit disappointing and underwhelming. The service on the other hand was a bit slow, leaving enough time to look forward the food but very friendly. The baths: in general we like the baths a lot and I have nothing to complain about the setup. There is only one thing: the baths are really not that clean. We found snus packages in saunas twice, the outdoor sauna was the dirtiest sauna I have ever seen and as someone mentioned earlier: I have never seen so much dirt in the water. This is something that Yasuragi has to work on quickly to maintain its good reputation. The other thing that I found a bit difficult is the volume of the talking in all baths itself. Only during the 30mins of silence it was enforced and I feel that this should be done more often ensure the marketing slogans advertised on Instagram and their website. Sometimes it just feels like I was in a normal swimming pool. In conclusion I am rating our stay with 4 stars and would hope to read more positive comments in the future and to come back one day and see the addressed shortcomings gone.

Such an amazing hotel to relax. I love the Japanses bath concept, it gives me really chill vibe, environment, and experience. - The room is minimalist Japanses design, comfortable bed. I got a room with snow mountain view. - The food is fantastic. I highly recommend the Teppanyaki so must try when you stay in the hotel. - I really satisfied with the service, friendly staff, genius and nice. -Unique concept, I’ll definitely come back !

Great spa place with an amazing view, lots of baths, saunas and rooms. Food exceeded our expectations 😊 We enjoyed half a day package (13:00 - 22:00) + restaurant and will definitely come back.

Yasuragi is one of a kind, you have to experience it yourself. Piece, quiet and delicious food. The food is healthy and great quality. Try the teppanayki dinner, it's a memorable experience. Sushi is also great. The wooden benches and buckets in the spa showers are moldy. Also service is a bit slow and less friendly sometimes. The sound bath was relaxing and just a lovely experience. Definitely all and all a very relaxing place.

This hotel has earned all its awards. Clean and spacious rooms. The baths were phenomenal; there were many to choose from and all were fantastic. No photos of the baths as cellphones are not allowed in the spa. You will not miss your mobile device. The favorites were the sparkling bath and the baths outside.

We did the day spa package which included lunch - portions were a bit small. Staff was very friendly. It was truly tranquil and a great place to relax. The quiet environment helped melt the stress away. Facilities were clean and well-maintained. Massages were worth the extra fee.

What an amazing place. We've already visited it twice and it is at risk of becoming a tradition. Wonderfully decorated to ensure that nothing distracts you from relaxing, taking care of yourself. Great food. Kind staff. A lot of options inside the spa area, and interesting activities.

Wonderful spa and beautiful surroundings. Breakfast could have been better in terms of offering freshly pressed juice and some more Japanese dishes. Stayed in the simpler room and got a quite basic room. No towels in the room when we arrived and a spider web. Staff were generally helpful when asked, some waitors tried to act posh which I didn't like, some didn't speak Swedish.

Really nice and beautiful place with good pools and saunas. It is definitely a good place to relax. But when booking the package in spa, they had some misleading information and because of that it cost us quite a bit of extra money. When I emailed them about it, they were not willing to give any refund or discount or anything.

If you have a special week for family then please adjust your kitchen so that delivers faster during family week. Last year we waited one hour between each course. This year even though the first think we did after seated was to order , it still took 45 min. Imagine to entertain hungry kids at a fine dining table is not at all relaxing !

Everything is incredible. Baths and saunas are excellent. Outdoor springs and sauna are my favourites. Breakfast buffet was classic continental with extra Japanese and Swedish options. Felt so relaxed the entire time.

An incredibly beautiful place. Great location. Relaxing and soothing atmosphere. I didn't know anything about this place when I went there. It was a gift. And I was really impressed. I liked the room, I was surprised that on the territory of the center you can wear only bathrobes, slippers and swimsuits issued by the hotel. It does not distract from unnecessary colors and impressions. No gadgets were not recommended and no any gadgets were allowed in a bath zone. Everything is aimed at relaxation, recharging and helps to go deeper into yourself and enjoy your sensations. I had an overnight stay with dinner on 10th of February 2023. I was able to fully enjoy the Japanese bath, various saunas and pools, pampered my body with cleansing and moisturizing. Dinner consisted of an appetizer, a main course and a glass of wine. There were also different activities - yoga, meditation. I enjoyed. Meditation was hold in English because I don't speak Swedish. Breakfast was healthy and very varied. This is a place you want to come back again and again.

Everything was excellent from start to finish. We went during kids week and it was never too busy in the pools and never dirty. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and the food was amazing! Had a super relaxing and fun birthday for my partner.

The Spa was pretty nice but the food, like so many others have written, wasn’t very good at all. We had a suite and while the view was nice, the windows were not clean and a lot of stuff was worn/broken. I also did not expect the buckets in the private bath to be plastic, since the one in the public were wooden. That feels really cheap considering what we paid. All in all, do visit the spa, it was awesome but do not stay over night or eat there would be our recommendation.

  • 4/5 Nader V. 1 year ago on Google
superb! definitely should try at least once. the only reason I gave 4 star is the Salt Steam Sauna did not work at the day we were there and nobody cared. the other think they can improve is that they can put better brochures and instructions there for new comings

  • 5/5 Noor K. 11 months ago on Google
The spa experience overall was excellent with enjoyable activities and a professional massage. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the bar food was really good. While the dinner teppanyaki was disappointing with an overpowering smell of burnt oil and inedible noodles, and breakfast was below average, I would still recommend the overall experience. If you're looking for a relaxing spa getaway, this is definitely a place to consider. Just keep in mind that the food may not be a standout feature, but it does not detract from the rest of the experience.

  • 3/5 Hung T. 9 months ago on Google
We stayed one night. The spa is good, what you would expect from a spa. Keep in mind that it is not a small spa/hotel. There are lots of people around. If you stay there is not really an option to eat somewhere else. Our food was way below average what you would expect in such an establishment. We booked a 3 course meal but we got moved to another restaurant where they had a buffet. Very limited choices and very poor quality. I wouldn't recommend taking the food. To get the best value, just come for one day. Spend some time in the spa and go eat somewhere nice. You can walk a bit in the Japanese garden which is very nice.

Best spa in Stockholm. Have been there several times. Beautiful location, architecture and style. Great spa and bath facilities. But - it is a bit overpriced, and the food is NOT very good. (It was significantly better around 10 years ago when I was first there.)

Loved the spa and variety of water rooms. I'd love that sushi was available in the options of the table buffet, because we reserved dinner a la carte, but that restaurant was closed, so we had to go to the buffet without any announcement. Even though we ate well, we were very likely for sushi that day. We also loved the views 😍

Pathetic customer service "not my problem, i dont care attitude". Unfortunately my wife had her periods two day before her surprise spa visit, and we contacted customer service to rebook it since this involves hygiene concerns. However we were made to pay 1500kr extra and told they don't care if we have had period and they cant do anything about it. This not only made us feel sick but also putting all guests at risk.

Spa is great but service not so great. I’ve called three times on different occasions/hours to get help and information regarding boooking treatments during my stay but they hang up the phone after two signals every time. Very unfortunate not to be able to get in touch regarding a coming stay.
