Very good value if you want to do a dayspa with brunch package. Good buffet and the spa area isn’t to busy. Make sure to book your massages in advance.

We loved it. The beauty of the place exceeded our expectations. We took a package to stay overnight with spa entrance and breakfast. Upon arrival, given the excellent weather, we had some cocktails in their nice terrace. The room was exactly as the picture in their website. The spa was amazing. The area is big and allows for different activities ( cold showers, sauna, indoor swimming pool, warm infinity pool...) as well as treatments. Last but not least, the staff was very nice and friendly. I had a last minute emergency and they answered very fast and were very understanding with the situation. We will repeat!

Spent my 30th Birthday here last year. We came on a Monday and had the spa almost for ourselves. Extremely good value for money as dinner was included in the spa entry. The outdoor infinity pool is amazing and you can even drink a glas of wine/prosecco inside the pool. Overall a great experience.

Upon entry to the resort complex the first thing I noticed was the sign covered in dust. The branding is very old and outdated. The reception looks like a reception to an old folks home. It even smells like a retirement home. Better lighting, the reception straight ahead would have been nicer than to the side. It has a 70s feel but why not enhance this and use it to the max instead it looks old mixed with a few modern things. The furniture where the bar is very dirty, covered in stains. Room was not 4 star standard. It was like a step beneath scandic hotel. Decoration was boring and lacked class. Toilet was small. They even began to cut the lawn outside our window at 8am. Dinner was very disappointing. There was a starter buffet which was nice but wouldn’t it be even nice to get an entire dinner served to you rather than feeing like you are at a school cafeteria? The mains, you order your meat and then go to the buffet for the side dishes which didn’t even compliment the meat or anything on the dish. The spa is ok but again certain things could be improved like service around the pool area. Why not serve drinks? We Went for lunch on the floating sauna and it took 45 minutes to get a toasted cheese sandwich. There were only three customers there. All in all I would not recommend for a nights getaway. There are far better choices for a similar price.

Updated review towards end of my 6 night stay: It has been wonderful! The location is amazing, next to the water with wonderful views, walks and bathing. It was spectacular walking around and taking in the views, as well as sitting with an ice cream or tea. A perfect place to "get away from it all" and relax. Best part - indoor and outdoor (infinity) pools heated to 35 degrees, lovely! Drinks and snacks are available throughout the day. The breakfast and evening meal (I didn't try lunch) have been very high quality and quantity. My room is a good size with a lovely view. The staff have made this vacation extra special - they are super friendly (especially the restaurant staff), helpful and solved any problems I had. A highlight was the great live music on Friday-Sunday, which I enjoyed so much! A mix of mostly English songs, very good!! The only negative was the discovery that I had to pay extra to access the pools and spa, which was the main reason for booking a spa hotel. This should be clearer on the website. Thank you to all the staff at Skepparholmen hotel!

Nice place with nice service. Outside environment and view was great. Outside hot spa was very relaxing and not too much people there. Would have appreciated a sign reminding visitors not to take too much photos as at one point there was like a full movie shoot there. Rooms were a disappointment considering a price of 3300. Clean and everything but really small. Beds were comfortable but also a bit small. Outside areas were walkable most of the time (winter) but when we went to the breakfast we had to walk trough snowy stairs. Food was good and staff friendly, especially the lady taking the orders.

Lovely spa and the staff there was wonderful! The rooms are a bit old school but clean and ok. The restaurant is also a bit old school, but the part with large windows, fireplace and scenery is great. And the food was very good.

Confused and not very well trained employees. In the spa (if you can call it) they were struggling to find our booking, the silent room is not silent because employees come and go as they wish. At the diner buffet the confusion with our booking package continued to make things worse I was told off by a member of staff for taking the wrong things (even if everything is accessible). The worst spa experience! I don't recommend!

Lovely hotel with good facilities en decker food. Especially the afternoon and night walks are fantastic. Well recommended but not very cheap and a bit far away of most places

Beautiful placed conference/hotel. Big dining area with good served food and a big breakfast buffet. Our conference hall was roomy and nice. They also have a spa, indoor pool, sauna and gym. The only downside which is nothing I guess, I would had used another tile color in the bathrooms to the hotel rooms. The rooms otherwise was quiet big and quiet, no noise from the sleeping neighbors.

Great venue! We held our annual company conference here. The venue was great for our long meeting with all the AV equipment and amenities to make it a good day for the team like snacks, water and coffee. The view is great in the summer. The restaurant was nice for all the meals we had there, especially dinner. The spa was great - such a cool infinity pool! Staff was very friendly as well. Rooms were small for American standard but comparable to any nice places we have been in Sweden.

If you love that middle school cafeteria / run down hospital from the 80s vibe, you'd feel right at home in this former thing that wasn't but is now a hotell/spa. Ever wanted a place so classy that you have to pay for your meal in advance at the front desk reception? Then you'll love to hear that it's both an underwhelming and overpriced buffet.

Nice, relaxing spa with saunas! Would have wanted a changing room or locker ner the water to go winterbathing. 😊
