Very poor customer service. Signs up indicating we could dine in as long as <20 people and sign the registry, when enquired about dining in was told it was too busy - there was zero other patrons and only 2 staff and myself and one other person, a mere 16 patrons away from the maximum numbers. The server rudely refused because "it was too busy and it's a Friday" - there were no indications that any day of the week was exempt from the rule, and then said abruptly unless you have $3000 you can't eat here. Absolutely unnecessary as we had not been remotely rude or difficult, just enquiring if we could have our lunch. I would expect the management train their staff to better handle honest customer queries in the future.

The size of the meal was tiny and over priced. Extra eating area has been taken up by storage. Available area was clean.

Portion size was a little small and the food was quite mushy and liquidy compared to anywhere else I've ordered burritos and burrito bowls before. The flavour of some things wasn't too bad, but from time to time something would taste off and I couldn't quite pinpoint what. It's not bad food but it hasn't given me any reason to eat it again.

I will NOT dine here again, tonight we ordered two power burritos which we know are gluten free and tend to split at times. We have eaten them multiple times as my partner is a coeliac. When we got home tonight the wrap had disintegrated, I was unable to even pick up the wrap. We returned to the shop and asked for a refund, the young girl called her manager in which the manager (I believe her name is Tracey) was incredibly rude and dismissive over the phone telling me no refund, it's a gluten free wrap mate! Continued to speak over the top of me and have no respect or wanting to show any by continually calling me Mate and being condescending. My partner and I refused to eat there after her being SO disrespectful telling us we can have another wrap that's it no refund. So we walk away empty handed they get to keep our 40.00 dollars. I have never felt so disrespected at a restaurant before.

Take away ordered for 2 big burritos. Food was ready on time, was fresh and delicious, servings were substantial (big was certainly not an over-reach) and service was friendly.

Usually the food is great but today it was awful. Don't know if the restaurant is cutting costs but I had a Powerbowl with all the extras. Unfortunately the black rice was undercooked, hard and not tasty. I let the staff member know but she didn't even apologises or offer a new fresh bowl. $22 I had to leave half of the bowl in rubbish bin. Feeling very ripped off 😠

Usually the food is great but tonight it was awful. Don't know if the restaurant is cutting costs but my husband bought me nachos as I had just finished a 12 hour shift. Unfortunately the corn chips were stale and there was lucky to be a teaspoon of sour cream and even less guac. Feeling very ripped off 😠

I’ve been here many times and no issues, very good service and pleasant. Except today (5 March, 2020...12:10pm). The girl behind the counter didn’t want to be there. Extremely non-caring, rude, rolled her eyes, poor form and plopped on random ingredients on my order. Charged me incorrectly as well, which she ended up reversing. Hopefully won’t be getting the same lady (dark hair).

Poor service, we seemed to be an inconvenience to the worker serving us who then proceeded to glare at us across the shop as we ate.

Server wasn't great, I was polite and friendly but I think I interrupted her doing dishes and she wasn't impressed.

Young gentleman with sleeve tattoo's on both arms served me a bowel and burrito and did exceptionally well making them and with portion size!! This is the best I've had in all of Brisbane and he deserves a raise in pay!! I didn't catch his name but thank you!!

One of the worst customer service experience I ve ever had

Beautiful food, but lousy take away pick up system. By the time you arrive to collect your takeaway, it’s ready. But to collect it they make you wait in line behind everyone still placing their orders. Meanwhile your food is cold, sweaty, salad is wilted, and crunchy bits have gone soft by the time you actually get it. Until Zambrero’s gets their act together I’ll be going to the new GYG which just opened next door and where takeaway is served hot and fresh via drive thru. It’s not hard to have a takeaway collection point at the massive counter people!

A good quick Nachos is never wrong. Girls working there are well mannered with good service.

Some spicy meat options would be nice! I had the pulled pork and the lady working warned that it was spicy. I added jalapeños and the chipotle sauce as usual but was a little disappointed with the pork. It was very mild in flavour with no spice at all.

While the burritos aren’t always wrapped the best I’ve found they’re consistently delicious and the team is pretty friendly - also gluten free options! Great if your friend or family are celiac

Our first experience with Zambreros was excellent. The poor young guy did so well on his own. Serving the large influx of customers that came in store. With a smile nothing was a problem and was very helpful. He was very welcoming. Our food was nice too.

We attended to get take away. The girl serving us rolled her eyes and it seemed an inconvenience. She was sloppy with serving out burrito bowls. Will never go back. I have also had food poisoning from this store. Terrible customer service.

Had the “Big Burrito” let’s just say it lives up to its name. Great portions, very fresh and tasty ingredients. Packaging too was very clean, presentable & sustainable in a sense. Also vegan options were a huge plus, especially for me and tasty options they were! First time ordering, will definitely be back and thank you to whoever wrote my name so cute on the bag, I appreciate it hahaha. 🙂

Best Zambreros ever. Used to be my local with work and I always thought it was good then work moved away from the area and have had to go to others. The others are good because who doesn't love a burrito, but Boondall always makes the burritos to perfection! 👌

This was my first ever experience ordering at Zambrero's and it was super easy. The owner was very happy to help me and I can't wait to visit again to enjoy more tasty food 🤗

I had a small burrito, First thing rude customer service like they care at all, And second the girl was literally adding salad like 4-5 drops of water I didn’t said anything But after that she asked me to add guacamole for an extra $1 i said yes and again same thing not the right quantity I asked her to add extra please and then she charged me for 2 guacamole And it’s not just about the money or $1 extra It’s about when someone goes to a restaurant or a food place we except service and if you’re paying you get something worth it not just a tortilla bread with 1 spoon of salad and less than half spoon of guac They need to improve this

Normally love Zambyz. But this franchise we found the portion sizes way too small. So annoyed with what we received. No cutlery for bowels ordered either. That whole family was really dissatisfied and left hungry which is not typical for them after paying nearly $60 for just two bowls and two burritos.

Been coming here for years. New management has changed the vibe. Not sure what happened. Used to leave with such a good energy better than I walked in. In some ways it was the experience I went for. Hope things get better with a stronger energy from the staff 🙏

First time trying this food chain and they were pretty decent. Food was tasty, fresh and full of flavour. Was sad that they didn't have hot chips as part of their meal.

Love this place for a healthier version of typical takeaway Mexican food. The staff I've had serve me here have been friendly and the regulars generally remember my order (which I don't expect, but is nice all the same). Air conditioning is always good inside, with a few tables and chairs to sit at. Plenty of parking as well. Only downside is they are usually shut on Public Holidays.

As far as food chains go, Zambreros at Boondall exceeds expectations, theyre never tight on the fillings so you know your Burrito is going to be bulk. The staff are always chirpy and even manage to spark up a conversation when it's a little quiet which makes you feel better than 'just another customer'. I've been eating from here for over 3 years now and have never been disappointed, 10/10, will eat there again.

Really disappointed in the quality of service. No name tags, so I can't pin point which team members they were. When we arrived there was a young blonde guy who looked to be in training, and a blonde girl with a tattoo on the back of her neck. She was distracting the guy from serving us properly, by talking about unrelated personal topics very loudly. Food is always great, but this service is unprofessional

Went into the store with my son and received terrible customer service the young girl rolled her eyes multiple times at me while I had difficulty choosing my order, no help at all and very pushy didn’t want to serve me at all. I asked for her name but wasn’t clear lana or rani it may have been, not sure if she was being honest she was blonde with Brown roots. It was on a Thursday night. Never returning back to your store.
