DO NOT GO HERE! We waited for 2 hours for our food without even any staff letting us know of the delay. There’s people drinking full glasses of milk… Staff come through with a coles shopping trolley into the restaurant every 30 minutes!!!! We chose our table and did not get presented with any menus or guidance on where/how to order. The only plus side to this place is I won $100 on the pokies. 0/5 Stars. Terrible Terrible Terrible, Terrible Service. Unhygienic and gross.

Would not recommend Walked in to the restaurant area and were ignored and had to approach the young girl at the bar about a table. She asked if we had ordered I said we don't even have a table yet she replied "you need a table number to order " I said we don't have a table yet. We then ordered and she hardly communicated with us and when she did her attitude was unprofessional and very unwelcoming. We then went and sat at our table which was filthy and when another staff member cleaned the table after we had to ask the girl behind the bar shouted out "it's already clean" I replied back and said no it is filthy. Our meals were served whilst we racked up a game off pool but as we sat down to eat two men took over our table without even asking. Our meals were less than average and we noticed the kitchen staff had no gloves on or hair nets whilst handling our food Very unprofessional and I would not recommend unless you wish to be spoken to with an attitude, served less than average food and putting up with rude staff who didn't know the first thing about customer service

Food quality not match the price. Ordered a rare 300g T-bone steak. Got a well-done one.(as in photo) Stsff was nice and kind to ask kitchen to make a new one to replace. The 2nd one was a rare steak, but... The dipping sauce is the worst dipping sauce I have ever tasted. We ordered mushroom sauce, and that sauce has no flavour but the taste of flour. I end up have to eat my steak with only salt to add-on. The environment is good, their staff are nice, but maybe steak are not their strengths...?

The most amazing service from this restaurant tonight. Was served by the most positive, helpful and welcoming staff member and i wish I had asked her name however she had long dark braided hair and I believe her name may have been Tesla? She not only helped explain the menu but also assisted with pointing out the specials and made my group feel incredibly welcomed with her fun banter and politeness. I don't usually leave reviews for restaurants but I couldn't let this beautiful young ladies excellent service go unrecognised. Wish I lived closer so I could come back sooner!!

Love the place, especially on a Friday arvo. But the ‘live music’ is way too loud. Not able to converse with my comrades. Turn it down please

Loved the schnitz with gourmet topper, was so much more indulgent than a regular parmi with the fancy cheese! Would definitely get that again. Carbonara was also quite nice. Desserts were pretty good and the service was friendly, nice atmosphere will come back soon to try their trivia night...with drinks

Very ordinary. The 2 stars are for the Assistant Manager and the young waiter (think it was his first day) Meals were very ordinary and came out wrong. Med rare steak that was ordered come out well done. I wanted to give feedback first hand but no one seemed interested. After reading other reviews we may of just come on bad day.

Love the food - totally nailed the menu items. Never had a miss in the last 4 months. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The Homestead is rocking. Just love being able to come and have an excellent meal at our local pub. Chef - thank you.

Definitely go there as my number one for the staff and the food, best staff to have a laugh and normal and the tastiest food them chefs can cook

Good food and good service from bar staff. Management need to think about their choices ...ordered and thought I had paid for 3 meals , turns out it was only 2 meals bar staff acknowledged mistake and apologised. While my 2 clients ate their lunch I waited for mine to arrive. was then asked to pay for extra meal upon exit...I mentioned this and was told it was managments decision.

I worked here for 2 weeks during my probationary period during my training i was never given a cocktail ingridient list on how to make drinks i mean i was taught by watching them do it a few times but a list on each cocktail would of been a great help. I was let go because i wasnt up to standard with things. The beers yes i learnt but it was barley proper training. Topless bar maiding as i remember was gross to witness its says enough about the organisation and how they dehumanise women and give them jobs like that. Idc if the women "enjoy it". Its disgusting and purely done for male satisfation. I remember thinking and saying to my mum if thats legal to do was truly uncomfortable atmophere. Full of drunk gross old men. Anyways ive gotten a better job in a way better atmophere and with cocktail instructions.

Lovely staff, wonderful food . must be good with all the tradies flooding in at lunch time. Certainly our favourite tavern.

Been here two Sundays in a row. I've been working over in Virginia on a Sunday and needed somewhere to go for a decent lunch. Both times we went there the beer was cold on tap beautiful. We had the steak special. Can't go wrong with steak chips and salad. 15 bucks beautiful

When I entered Saturday night the person I thought was on the to direct to the table booked for our group just walked straight passed me and went out for a cigarette totally ignoring me for the rest of the gave great service !!

Amazing chefs in the kitchen delivering mouth watering meals. Their daily specials are affordable especially their Two for One Tuesdays and $13 tradie lunch rumps which are cooked to perfection each time and no added costs for sides like other venues. , lunch menu is $15 daily and the Thursday Ribs’n’wings are succulent and fall off the bone. Staff go above and beyond and are always friendly and polite, very welcoming to all patrons and always have a smile on their faces and happy to have a chat. Great venue for families and tradies as it is sectioned off from Sports Bar to Bistro. Highly recommend for date night, family night and functions.

Amazing time, really well prepared filling meals within a reasonable delivery time. Will definitely come again, even got to listen to people playing trivia and a kind man told me how well I was rocking my outfit.

My partner and I had a lovely evening playing pool, all the staff were lovely, cocktails were great. Quick service and the veggie parmi was delicious! Chefs seemed very busy but stayed calm and so professional. Overall was a great experience!

Beautiful bar staff especially the lady from Cairns I was on holidays and made very welcome. Food was amazing will definitely be back very soon.

Everything about our experience was here tonight was horrendous!! Bar service was awful (waited 20 minutes for a Margarita) Food service was even worse (waited well over an hour for food) Definitely don’t recommend wasting your time going here!! If you’ve seen Gordon Ramsay’s show Kitchen Nightmares you just know he would have an absolute fit at this restaurant. oh and not to mention the rude staff, the chick in the stupid Hawaiian shirt had an awful attitude.

We recently attended a function here - the organisation was atrocious, no aircon for the first hour+, no music for the over an hour, had to hook up our own technics to get sound system working, no microphone until 1/2 way through speechs, no bar supplies unless we asked the stafc to go get them & The 1/2 the Food was an absolute disgrace- burnt pork belly - no one could eat any of it, 1/2 the parmys burnt, 1st serve of wings burnt...& to top it off - our family emailed numerous complaints to venue & still have not recieved a response.

Most ridiculous pub rules delivered by unfriendly and rude staff. Air-conditioning has been broken for 4+ months and you get a headache from heat in the pokie room. Every person dining must show their own members card to receive the small discount and if under 18 we'll that's too bad. The customer is never correct according to them and bar staff will argue with patrons. Avoid this pub if you want a nice time.

My daughters meal ( seafood basket) was burnt, my wife's salmon was over cooked and dry. Mine and our friends was OK. Two out of four I suppose??. We won't be going back any time soon.

Yeah meal was good nice place to go for a meal. But if I could make a recommendation they do need to get the meals out a bit quicker But other than that the service is great

Tradie pub, with bistro and pokies. Always has special offers on their food. Good portions vs price and staff make the effort.

caesar salad was perfect, aioli taste amazing and dianne sauce is perfect, tezz is the best and tracy makes a mean cocktail ;) ;)

Yep. Sadly no zero star for food review. Steaks R Us is not here. Ordered a blue, got a medium. It was wafer thin, don't care if it was to weight or the Friday special. Make it thicker, cook it to order. SERVE IMMEDIATELY. Not after 5 minutes under the hot light! AND FOR F SAKE STOP USING THE SALT LIKE MSG! Almost had a coronary! The 'side' of chips was sneakily hid under the steak, but still only counted a soggy 10 chips...... The salad. Meh. The Buffalo Wing toppers. Best part. Stock standard fried chicken, thank goodness cooked and melty, but the sauce was probly out of a bottle...... Watched people in the same large groups/ table get served 5 to 10 minutes apart. Make your own mind up. Second time here. First time was worse. Not giving them a third try. Upside. Staff were chirpy.

Just moved to area this is our new local been here 3 times - consistently good service super friendly staff. Came here for dinner and got 2 loaded schnitzels and 2 soft drinks and free pool for $35 (Tuesday night) Kids eat free and free pool on Sunday’s.

Ribs seemed almost boiled with a stock (and unpleasant) whiskey sauce dribbled on top. Coleslaw was chopped cabbage with another stock sauce squirted without a care. Oh and cold cardboard chips. You get the idea.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff, a definite must if you feel like a few beers after work to wind down.

Hands down the worst meal we have ever had. I had a Parmigiana and it was the smallest parmy I’ve ever seen (it was as big as the palm of my hand…and I have tiny hands) it had no flavour to it whatsoever My husband had crumbed steak and his review of it is “he feels like he’s just eaten MacDonalds or Hungry Jacks” it was that bad We both had cold chips and the gravy was also flavourless. Wouldn’t recommend.

21st Birthday Party was Fun. Limited Bar Facilities. Make sure you request what you want. Check to see if they have any other functions on the same night. Because it will impact on the Service you get from the Pub. It did for me. I ordered a Cocktail for my Sister, was told I had to go downstairs to order it & was told I couldn't bring it, the Drink, back to our Private Function. A bit weird! The Bar was a bit unorganized. Food was good. Sweets a bit Sad. To much fried nibbilies.

The drive thru drinks have a hot warmer with pies made by the chef. They are absolutely beautiful and big. I love the chicken pies the best, but highly recommend you trying what’s on offer on the day. Best pies I’ve ever had.
