Ordinarily
I
make
several
visits
to
an
establishment
before
reviewing,
it's
only
fair;
good
days,
bad
days
and
all
that.
However,
the
entrees
at
The
Colorado
Grill
were
so
uniformly
above-average
that
waiting
to
return
seemed
a
foregone
conclusion.
Between
the
four
of
us,
not
a
single
clunker
–
that's
a
good
start.
The
real
stand
out
was
the
Hot
Roast
Beef,
(not
mine
of
course).
Heaping
serving
of
meat
on
real
skins-in
mashed
potatoes,
that
gets
my
vote
next
trip
for
sure.
The
Crispy
Chicken
Salad
filled
an
entire
over-sized
server
and
seemed
close
to
chicken
with
salad
rather
than
the
usual
opposite.
One
of
my
long-time
favorites
anywhere,
the
Monte
Carlo,
was
scrumptious
hot
and
didn't
even
need
the
gilded-lily
fluff
accompaniment.
(Half
at
home,
cold,
not-so-good.)
I
wish
I
had
taken
pictures.
Bear
in
mind,
we
hit
the
door
this
time
in
the
mid-afternoon
so
YMMV
for
dinner,
service
issues,
crowding,
etc.
With
the
large
lot,
I
don't
imagine
parking
will
be
much
of
a
problem.
While
I
did
appreciate
the
tile
floor
that
let
me
slide
up
to
the
table
rather
than
bunny-hop
my
chair,
one
of
our
party
slid
a
little
more
than
was
comfortable
for
her.
The
next
road
trip
in
the
area
will
probably
include
“Hey,
what
about
that
Boone
spot?”
All-in-all,
a
memorable
experience.
